A:
{Source: B.Com students & alumni]

Dyal Singh College provides an open and inclusive environment for its students, with no restrictions on dress code, sports, or extracurricular activities. The college has a moderate academic schedule and a well-stocked library, and encourages research and reading through teacher-provided resources. The campus is secure with guards and CCTV cameras present, and there have been no security breaches in the past. The college takes a strong stance against ragging and has strict policies in place to prevent it. Additionally, all modes of transportation are readily available from the campus, making it easily accessible to students.

Based on the reviews provided, the overall infrastructure of Dyal Singh College for the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) programme is mixed. Some reviewers found the infrastructure to be good, with fully air-conditioned classrooms, well-maintained classrooms, a spacious library and decent canteen facilities. However, other reviewers had a different experience, finding the infrastructure to be not so good, with small and poorly maintained classrooms and lacking Wi-Fi facilities.

It appears that the infrastructure of the commerce department specifically may be an area of concern, with one reviewer stating that the classrooms are small and fans do not work properly. On the other hand, the library and labs seem to be well-equipped and maintained. Additionally, the college seems to have a decent canteen and sports facilities. However, there is no hostel facility available.

Overall, the infrastructure of Dyal Singh College appears to be moderate, with both positive and negative aspects. It is important for prospective students to consider these factors when deciding whether or not to attend the college.

Summary: Dyal Singh College has mixed infrastructure, with some areas like the library and labs being well-maintained, while others like the commerce department classrooms may require improvement. My first-hand experience of Dyal Singh College as a fresher.
Placements: I am rating the placement of my college 4 because it's improving every year with a lot of new companies joining in. Since I am a fresher, I don't have first-hand experience with the placement procedure, but I can tell you the basic details. CV Scan, Aptitude Test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview are some of the basic steps in the process. It is advisable to maintain an 8 CGPA in all years since companies do have some minimum eligibility criteria. The average of this year is 5 LPA and the highest is 23 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is pretty average. Though we have an amphitheatre and auditorium with two libraries, one for the morning and another for the evening batch, still there are many improvements that need to be done in the college in terms of infrastructure.
Faculty: The staff is well qualified and helpful towards students. Generally, they are cooperative if you maintain the decorum of the classroom and do your assignments on time. But, if you try to cross them and be disrespectful, you will face the consequences.

Affordable and value for money .
Placements: The placement is average, as a few hundred students from a select few courses get placed, but those who do, get a good company and package. Many good companies come for placement, like Deloitte, KPMG, etc. The highest package was 3,600,000 per annum, and the average package was 540,000 per annum.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure but does not have a hostel for its students. The classrooms are good, the library is well-equipped with books, there are labs for all necessary subjects, and there are sports fields and equipment, etc. Although there is no hostel in the college, students can easily find accommodation around the college.
Faculty: The teachers in the college are very knowledgeable and helpful, and they will guide you throughout the semester. The curriculum is based on the new education policy and is up to date with the recent industry applications and skills. The semester exams are also moderate.

I am not that satisfied because of the timings and faculties here
Placements: Students from different fields can be educated here and get placed after completing their graduation. Top company placements are also possible if you take part in different societies and are an active member. Different tasks are also assigned here.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average and spacious. There is a canteen too that provides nice food at a reasonable price for students. Classes are spacious and well-maintained, and there are specific blocks according to the course. There is also a library for everyone.
Faculty: Faculty in exams are good and qualified. The exam course provides three additional courses for skill enhancement: Ability Enhancement Course, as well as courses like Digital Marketing, Social Service, NCC, Dance, Music, Drama, Art and Culture, and Animal Care.
Other: Events occurs occasionally but not that good

Really good infrastructure, facilities, and decent crowd .
Placements: The placement of Dyal Singh is average. Being on the south campus, average companies come for placements. A few of the companies that visit are Deloitte, Inara, Delta X, and Tata Consultancy. Around 30–40% of students get internships. The placement cell updates the students frequently if there's any internship or job available.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Dyal Singh College is impressive. It has one of the biggest campuses in South Campus. It offers a range of facilities like classrooms, labs, libraries, cafeterias, basketball courts, and tutorial rooms. The library is spacious and contains all the study material. There are 2 labs in the college. The science block is well equipped with modern labs.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and ready to support you if you have any problems. The difficulty in semester exams is decent. The teachers are highly qualified and provide relevant industry information to prepare the students for industries. The course is relevant and makes the student industry ready. Rest it depends on the students skill and knowledge.
Other: The events and fests of this college are really bad. There is always a fight in events, if any.

Based teaching faculty members, big college.
Placements: Placements available are average, infact even below 4 LPA is offered. Though the number of students placed is good, but only a few good companies come to recruit students, that too at low packages. Internships are mostly of far places offering no pay. Opportunities are many but not worth.
Infrastructure: The facilities available are okayish, the infrastructure is average, no lifts, no Wi-Fi, no AC. Everything is average here. Canteen is also okay. Although the space is big, and there are many places to sit, but to say that the facilities are really good, would not be fair.
Faculty: Teachers here are pathetic, some are really good, only a few, some are average, but others are really below average. They are not at all helpful and are so biased, they don't even teach properly, and give internal marks partially and unfairly. And you cannot do anything about it. Course curriculum is good and related to industry chosen, exams are also good.
