Good infrastructure and facilities, and they should concentrate more on placements.
Placements: The placement is one of the disadvantages for marine engineering cadets. Students are mostly placed only in small companies, or else, we have to try jobs outside of this field. There are many companies conducting exams. Some are Synergy, Walem etc. Even if we want to get placed, we have to gain good knowledge to move forward.
Infrastructure: The college provides several facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, workshops, a separate library for marine students etc. The hostel facilities are there along with good food daily. There are gyms and swimming pools which are useful for students to relax.
Faculty: The faculty members are qualified and knowledgeable for marine students. The classrooms are provided with smart class techniques so that the students can be knowledgeable. The classrooms are equipped with fans, tube lights, and air-conditioners so that the students can concentrate on their studies without interruption.
Other: I took this course with my own interest to travel around the world and to know different cultures. Marine engineering is a vast subject. This can be studied only with interest.

Our college have very good teaching and non teaching staff and have it's own shipping campus.
Placements: Around 29 students were placed in my course. The average salary offered was up-to around 70,000/-. Tata was the top most company for recruiting. The highest role offered is as chief engineer and average package was 1,00,000/-. Around and over 42 have got internship and have been placed in the top companies.
Infrastructure: Many facilities are available in the college premises like good infrastructure, sports ground with a net practice court for cricket, well furnished labs with a well-equipped classroom and library. Wi-Fi is available only in the hostel with a minimum usage of 34 Mb so as for the better of the students. The food in the mess is hygienic but ain't that good. College also have a good medical facility for the required ones. It's also has provided with a swimming pool a basketball court a cricket pitch a volleyball court and etc.
Faculty: The teaching staff provided by the college are well qualified and knowledgeable. They know in and out of the subject. The teaching quality is at its best as compared to the rest. They give many practical examples that are well useful and do take to many industrial visits.
Other: I choose this course as it was my dream and ambition to pursue and sail the seas as I love traveling. The best thing about the course is we can sail the seven seas. And earn money. I wish there should be every semester wise taking us out to the ship and even letting us to speak to the uncharged on board and know about their perspective regarding the vessel
The college does provide scholarship for the First Class and the SC tribe ones. Even there are many extracurricular activities like sports day annual day, Mechanical fest, a well-equipped canteen and stationary shop with an ATM facility inside the college. It is been built amongst the surrounding around the nature.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of not giving good facilities and no entertainment even culturals.
Placements: Only a few cadets were placed in past years
A minimum salary of 10k and the highest will be according to cadets knowledge and talents
Navy officers are recruited from our college which is one of the top offers
There is no internship for this course
Placement is not good in our college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi enabled library
Labs are well-equipped some are not
Classrooms are fitted with AC
Teaching is good not best
Doing course in this college can ruin your college life not your knowledge or learning
Looking into hostel
Not worth of money for a penny
Toilets and bathrooms are not good
There is extra charges (compulsory for all cadets) for swimming pool and gym but not maintained properly
Food is not good (means not worth of money 60k)
Wi-Fi enabled hostel
Good mess
Rooms are good but not worth of money.
Faculty: Teaching is fine
Helpful teachers
All are qualified teachers
faculty members are knowledgeable
Explain in simple words which is understandable to all
This course can make someone better in there standard of living, life style and all
There is lot of job opportunities for the students.
Other: I chose this course because of my passion for uniform, ships and travelling. I wanted a Good salary and a Good job.
Easy to achieve good top position if you have talent
The best thing about this course is that you will be treated as a professional when you start the course itself. Lifestyle and attitude will be changed. Event, fest, extracurricular activities mainly INDUSTRIAL VISIT kind of things are not available in our college
Peaceful campus because of very less students.

This is an average college for marine engineering with reasonable fee.
Placements: Placements are not offered by the college. But from this year, they are offering placements in supply vessels. Most of our seniors have got jobs via an agent or by clearing the exams. The minimum salary offered for a junior engineer in the ship was around Rs. 15,000 per month, and the maximum offered was around Rs. 80,000 per month as this varies on ships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the institute is good. They provide all the labs with the latest equipment. There is a not so well-maintained ship in the college which helps us a lot to develop practical knowledge. The library is provided with a good range of books. Sports environment is also not that good. We have got two canteens in our college which provide good quality food, but the price is high.
Faculty: Faculty members of the marine engineering department are very good and well-qualified. We have got two chief engineering faculty who are well-experienced. The rest of the faculty members are average. The student to faculty ratio is around 8:1. We are taken to visit a ship once a year which helps us a lot.
