All these colleges under the University of Delhi, namely Hindu, Hans Raj and LSR are considered to be the top colleges for Arts, Science and Commerce education. The following table contains a fee range and median salary comparison of Hans Raj College with other top colleges of DU offering BA & BA (Hons) courses:

College Name

BA & BA (Hons) Fee Range

BA & BA (Hons) Median Salary

Hans Raj College

INR 540*

INR 6.50 LPA

Hindu College

INR 52,680 - INR 52,770*

Humara Hansraj - My identity!
Placements: As my course is a B.A. program in history+economics, with an economics major, we have an opportunity for placement in top companies that offer the highest packages. You have an opportunity to do internships with the guidance of top companies' mentorship programs, which is helpful in your future life.
Infrastructure: We have a departmental society where we have many opportunities, and we have a separate departmental room. Wi-Fi is provided on the college campus and in the library, and we also have access to many books. We have medical facilities and a sports ground in our college, and the canteen food is good.
Faculty: The teachers are so helpful and qualified; they provide their best efforts to us. This course is suitable for those students who want to go into civil services or the private sector. The semester exams are manageable, not so difficult if you study regularly, and the minimum pass percentage is 55-65%.
Other: I chose this course to crack the civil services exam, and the best thing about this course is that it covers all the bases for competitive exams. The Hansraj College fest, Confluence, is very exciting and entertaining. The students participate in extracurricular activities, which gives them opportunities in those fields as well.

Hansraj College - General review .
Placements: Since I am in my first year, I don't know much about placements. Also, students of my course generally don't go for placements as most of them prepare for government exams especially, civil services as Economics and history both help in preparing for them. Some also want to pursue Masters either in economics or history.
Infrastructure: The library is fantabulous as infrastructure is good and many quality books are available. Resource rooms are also here and one could use desktops kept here. Classrooms in A block are big and equipped with multiple air conditioners while classes in C block are good but do not stand in comparison with a block rooms. Hostel rooms are good but you will not get air conditioners here. Food is great here.
Faculty: The professors who teach here are knowledgeable and are always ready to help the students. Many of them have done research on many distinctive fields thus, creating a good environment for research. Talking about my course, there are two Discipline selective courses economics and history that will be there in all semesters. Generally students of B.A. programme are not placed as many of the students prepare for civil services. The semester Exams are not very difficult but you have to write very much that could create difficulty for many students.

A glimpse of Delhi University College : Hansraj College.
Placements: There is a placement cell in college which also provides opportunities for placement in top companies like TATA, Nestlé, Swiggy, Microsoft, Deloitte, etc. The average package lies between 7 LPA to 8 LPA. The average percentage of placement from college is around 40-50%.
Infrastructure: There is an overhipe of Delhi University overall but for me, it is one of the best universities. Hansraj College provides the facility of a library with almost every type of book and every discipline. The building of Hansraj College is quite good, and there are other facilities like conference rooms, seminar rooms, auditorium, playground, computer labs, etc. There are air-conditioned classes, and every class is equipped with a projector for presentations. The hostel of Hansraj College is affordable, and the food is quite good.
Faculty: I am pursuing B.A. programme (Economics + History). According to me, this B.A. programme is the best course for those who want to gain knowledge and explore multiple disciplines at one time, and also it is beneficial for those who want to prepare for government jobs. In the New Education Policy 2020, the course curriculum becomes very complex, and students face difficulty in understanding their course curriculum. There are two semester exams twice a year whose difficulty is moderate.

It has an amazing crowd and experienced faculty, but disappointed with the infrastructure.
Placements: I am in my first year right now, so I can't say much, but most of the placements are offered to B.Com honours and B.A. Economics honours students. But it is quite good. Most of the well-known companies come here to recruit students. The internship cell of our college is very active. You can get a lot of internships from here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Hansraj College is quite disappointing. It has 3 blocks. C-block is in its worst condition. A-block is still good. The classrooms are air-conditioned. Wi-Fi is not available. The hostel has a lot of network issues. The canteen is good, and the library is good. But the infrastructure is still not up to the mark.
Faculty: The faculty are the only reason for me being here. Teachers are fantastic. Their knowledge is really good. They are open-minded and are friendly too. The course curriculum is also good, and from the next year, i.e., from the 2022 batch, it's going to be more amazing as NEP will be implemented from next year. NEP will provide us with multiple options.
Other: I am pursuing B.A. program. I chose this course because I am a civil service aspirant. It's already too good, and we get a lot of knowledge from here. In addition, the library is full of wonderful resources. Hansraj crowd is the best. You will get the best exposure here. There are a lot of societies, and most importantly, they all are very active. So, you get the experience of everything. Only infrastructure is a little bit disappointing, but still, it's amazing. Those red walls will make you fall in love with them. Scholarships are also provided. You can apply for them through the website.

It is one of the best colleges on the North campus.
Placements: About 80-90% of students got placed in good highly-reputed companies as per my knowledge. Last year, the starting package was 5 LPA, and the highest went up to 40 LPA. Companies like Nestle, Infosys, Amazon, ICICI Bank and many more are the top recruiting companies. There aren't many companies as others in this course, but we have many opportunities. Top 5 students were selected for internships, and the roles offered were archaeology or business management.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is overall good. Everything like lecture rooms, library, and labs are perfect. Wi-Fi facility is available. The canteen food is available at very low rates, and the food is very hygienic, but the quality may differ. Overall, it is nice. It has all the facilities that a student needs in college. A sports ground is available with a separate basketball court. I was not a hostel student, so I don't know about it, but I've heard that the hostel life is indeed the best part of your life in Hansraj.
Faculty: All the faculty departments are good. Almost all the teachers have done PhDs, so they are very knowledgeable. Whether it's on campus or off campus, all the teachers are always ready to help you with everything. They are very friendly. They all have their own unique way of teaching. The exams are not that tough. If you will listen to the lectures properly and make your own notes, then you will find the questions very easy.
Other: Whenever I visit the college, I can see a huge crowd. People sometimes just chill around on the campus because the campus surroundings are beautiful, full of greenery, flowers, plants, and trees. It seems like there's a different atmosphere around the college and is peaceful. Being in the list of top colleges, the fests are the best part of it.
