My beautiful college journey.
Placements: In my course, very few students participate in placements because most prefer to pursue research in their field of interest within physics. They prepare for IIT JAM and pursue Master's degrees in Physics.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. There is AC in every classroom and lab. The washrooms are neat and clean on every floor. The library is big and has every kind of book available, along with proper Wi-Fi, a quiet atmosphere, and AC. Canteen food is good and affordable. The girls' hostel has AC, spacious rooms, and good food quality. There is a huge playground with various sports equipment.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. They also help with research work and provide guidance. The curriculum is very good and helpful for future goals, although it may not fully prepare students for industry jobs. Semester exams are moderate, and 99% of students pass.
Other: I chose physics because I want to do research in this field. The practical aspects of the course are interesting. The college organizes many events and workshops every week through societies and faculty members. Fests are not very good, but the campus crowd is nice. The college provides scholarship opportunities to needy students. There are many societies for dance, poetry, drama, etc., where students can develop their hobbies.

Bad Placements in 2021, Good Infrastructure and Facilities
Placements: Around 75% of students were placed, with the highest package reaching 35 LPA and the lowest at 8 LPA. Top recruiters included ISRO and DRDO. About 65% of students secured internships. The top roles offered were physicist and astrophysicist.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure were good. The Wi-Fi was fast, labs were clean, and classrooms were spacious. The library was a peaceful place to study. The food was okay, though sometimes cold, but the canteen was clean. I made some friends there, and the medical facilities were reliable.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was also great, and the course was relevant, covering everything needed. However, the semester exams were very difficult, and only about 65% of the students managed to pass and get their degree.
Other: I love science and physics, but a little more effort from the teachers would be appreciated. The events were just fine.

It's one of the top colleges .
Placements: There are no direct placements for the course of Physics Honours, but after a Master's, there is a possibility of getting placed in the field of research, or you can also get a job teaching Physics in many universities in the country, like JNU, QMU, Allahabad University, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are the best compared to other DU colleges. Campus Wi-Fi is available but not for students; it is for the faculty. However, there are computers on which you can do work related to your course. Other than studies, it is prohibited to use the campus computers for personal work.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful to all types of students. Some may seem arrogant, but that's their way of teaching. Looking at things, they are highly qualified for their jobs, and they know what they are teaching us. There are 2 semesters per year, and exams are held semester-wise. Around 50-60 students pass, and some get backlogs in 1 or 2 subjects.

Hansraj college is the best college for studying.
Placements: In our course, the placement opportunities are very limited. If you want to get placed, you have to do a Masters in your own respective subject from IIT or any other good institute. In my course, approximately 6-7 percent of students are placed and the average package is 6-7 lacs, and the highest package was 15 lacs in 2022. About 30–40 percent of students got internships in 2022. Talking about my class, internships are allowed in the second year. The top role in our course is teacher.
Infrastructure: The college classrooms are well maintained, fully air-conditioned, have a smart board and have many other amenities. Talking about hostels, the boys and girls hostels are present, which have things like Wi-Fi, AC, geysers, etc. The food provided in the college hostel mess is very tasty and there is routine in the food making, like samosas for breakfast on Monday, etc. The college has all sports equipment and provides opportunities to do well in that.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers were very helpful and the teaching method is also very good; they make the topic very easy and understandable. All the teachers are Ph.D. holders in their respective subject. Like we have already said, our course is not for the industry. If you have an interest in physics, then go for it, and after your Masters, you will get a good package.
Other: I chose this course because have a great interest in the field of Physics and would like to know more about the subject. In our course, the thing that can be improved is introducing some subjects that help in making money after a degree. For the past 3–4 years, there has been no fest in our college but there has been a fresher party organized and a Diwali Mela organized by the college. The scholarship is also provided to students who are economically backward; some scholarships are Dell, Aspire Scholarships, and Hansraj Merit Scholarships.

Satisfied with teachers. Good infrastructure and well maintained, competitive yet friendly crowd.
Placements: Placements for Science courses especially bachelor's degree is very low as most of them pursue higher studies like M.Sc. preparing for IIT JAM and CSIR NET. But there are many opportunities for research and internships regarding the same both on and off campus.
Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped and maintained all above. Library provides books for the whole semester and also we could borrow extra books for our knowledge. Computers are of high technology with high-speed Wi-Fi connection. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and have good enough space.
Faculty: Faculty members for physics department are so far good. Professors are really helpful, each one of us is assigned mentors for any issue to be solved. Course curriculum assigned to us will prepare us well for the upcoming exams and higher studies. Exams are a bit tough and would prepare for the competitive exams needed.
Other: One thing that is best about college is that we get different kinds of crowds and let us decide which one we want to mingle with. There are various societies and extracurricular activities to participate in and explore to develop new interests and even worthy competitions to take part in.
