A:

Hindu College admission to all the programmes is entrance-based. While the college accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its UG courses, such as BA, BSc and BCom, admission to all the postgraduate programmes is based on the scores obtained by students in the CUET- PG exam (starting admission 2023). The institute along with DU started accepting CUET UG from 2022 onward and the CUET PG from the 2023 session onward. Before this, admission to UG was subject to merit scores obtained by the students in Class 12 and PG admission was mostly subject to DUET exam previously conducted by DU. However, the university still accepts ECA quota admissions.

It's a dream of thousands to take admission in Hindu, but only a few get it.
Placements: There is not a high number of placements from my course, but most of the students from the commerce and arts get placements with a good package, with an average package of 10 LPA. But some students receive an average package of more than 15 LPA. So it is easy to get placed from Hindu.
Infrastructure: The college provides the best infrastructure and high-tech labs for computer and subject labs with highly qualified staff and faculty. If I talk about hostel facilities, the hostel was demolished during COVID-19 and the new hostels are still in process. It will take some time to complete.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and the best we have in the whole Delhi University. The course curriculum is easy as it is the same in the whole Delhi University, but somewhere it is the teachers who make the course easier to understand for the children.

Amazing college with amazing crowd.
Placements: Placements are not generally provided in this course. But one can opt this course if they want to pursue higher education or want to prepare for any government exam. There is enough free time available for the students of this course to side hustle.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good and Wi-Fi is available in the campus. There are 2 hygienic canteens along with the labs which are well maintained and well-equipped. Every room has working equipments in a very good condition. There are two auditoriums and 3 Computer labs in the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and supportive. They teach with a passion for their subject. Course curriculum is not tiresome and can be easily completed at a relaxed pace. Exams are between easy to moderate, so you can pass with good marks just by being attentive in the class.
Other: I wanted to do Hons. but I got this course. This course provides you with variety and flexibility.

Push your limits to get into DU.
Placements: In our course, there are basically no placements but I can say if you want to enjoy college life and learn new things instead of staying at home, you can take admission in our course. There is also scope in our course if you do further studies like M.Sc. Or Ph.D.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but actually we don't have boys hostels in our college. It will be there soon; it is under construction. And if we talk about infrastructure for academics, it is really nice. We have proper labs in our college, and proper classes happen here.
Faculty: Professors are very nice, especially in our course, because I have seen other courses but didn't find professors like ours. They are, I can say, very nice. They help in every aspect. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Semester exams are easy; all you have to do is answer the previous year's questions.
Other: College organizes fest from time to time and you just have to enjoy and participate to boost your confidence. Your college life will be very nice.

Hindu College, University of Delhi, A+ rank, NIRF ranking 2, Top Coed College of India.
Placements: 53 percent of students get placed in Delhi; Hindu College offers the highest package of 36.5 lacs; the lowest package is offered of 5 lacs. The companies offering the highest packages are Cater, HCL, Brain & Co., etc. From my course, 5–10 students get internships. In my course, you can become a research assistant, data analyst, lab assistant, etc.
Infrastructure: My course is in the Physics Department; it has two laboratories and a projector available in the class room. A research centre is available for research purposes. A computer laboratory is also available for advanced experiments. There is only a girls hostel, under construction, and a boys hostel. There is a canteen and a cafeteria. There is a sports complex with basketball, cricket, and football fests.
Faculty: In my course, there are three core or DSC papers: physics, mathematics, and electronics. You can choose generic electives, skill enhancement courses, or value-added courses from any department. Environment Studies is also a paper compulsory for Science students. Faculty are so friendly. Almost all of them have Ph.D.s and have conducted research. Semester exams are moderate, and you can get a decent CGPA with moderate study .
Other: This is a multi-disciplinary course. I can do a Masters in any course among mathematics, Physics and electronics. The college also provides a good environment for civil service preparation. Annual fest, Diwali fest, freshers, movie screening, seminars by a lot of cabinet ministers, ex-chief justice, ex-chief selection officer, ex-president of the European Parliament, etc., dance and literature programme, intellectual fest, etc.

A glimpse of Hindu College.
Placements: Placements in this course are quite low as this is not an honors degree and the highest placement was 11 LPA, the lowest was about 2–3 LPA, and the average placement was 5 LPA. Top companies include HCL, etc. About 50% of students get internships, but mostly the students come here for UPSC preparations.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is best among the North Campus. The college holds a sports complex, which comprises many sports facilities and different games. As of now, boys hostel are not available because they're under construction. Only girls hostels are available for now.
Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified and many professors hold Ph.D. degrees. The teaching environment is good. The course is also quite professional, includes many practical labs and is related to the electronics industry. Semester exams are moderate and are mostly based on the previous year's questions.
Other: This course includes three domains, which are math and physics, and a student can choose between the subjects to do honors in any one of the domains. There must be an improved lab for mechanistic practice. The Hindu College hosts the biggest fest on the whole North Campus.
