Overall, the best college for M.Sc. in Applied Microbiology Course.

Placements: About 64% of the students get placed from college. The rewards are not based on services but on their creativity. The average salary is between 15 LPA and 30 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Ranbaxy, Nestle, NHS, etc. The education at the college is excellent, and the degree of freedom offered is very high. About 60% of the students got internships out of college.

Infrastructure: The atmosphere at our college is clean. Medical first-aid services are available on campus, and everything is clean, including the restrooms and classrooms. The newest Acer and HCL systems are used in computer labs that are air-conditioned. In addition to tea, coffee, juice, and snacks, the canteen serves Chinese and South Indian cuisine.

Faculty: The teachers in our college were not good in their classes. But the teaching method was good. Qualified teachers can impart knowledge to more students. The curriculum was appropriate. But a little work will give students better techniques and new skills. Semester exams are easy and the pass rate is 63%.

Overall best college for M.Sc. in Applied Microbiology course.

Placements: The student placement rate in our college is about 69%. The maximum package for a student placed in our department is 20 LPA, and the minimum is 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies in our college are Ocium Biosolutions, Emcure, Zydus Cadila, Moderna, Cipla, etc. The percentage of students who got an internship in my course was about 65%. The top roles are biotechnologist, medical microbiologist, and so on.

Infrastructure: The college has good facilities and good infrastructure. On campus, Wi-Fi is not available. The two labs are a fully air-conditioned computer lab and a science lab. There are two libraries at the college. There are medical services at the campus, and the cuisine at the hostel is tasty. Games and sports are important to them.

Faculty: With few exceptions, all the teachers in our college are not supportive. The teaching methods were very poor, and it was very difficult for us to understand their language. They taught us no valuable lessons. Only once were we taken on a technical tour. The college imparts only theoretical knowledge, not practical knowledge. The semester exams are moderate, and the pass rate is 55%.

The college provides great learning with many opportunities.

Placements: Both the placements and the internships are being provided by the college. We have an active placements team to take care of that. The top recruiters are generally research companies, pharmaceutical companies and a few from environment sectors. The highest package offered in this course is around 7 Lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is constructed in such a way that we have different hostels for boys and girls and generally, the students are a mix of Science students. We have a mess, a laundry service and regular cleaning being done in the hostel. The department has labs, library and classrooms.

Faculty: The professors are scholars and most of them have rich industry experience. The curriculum is nicely divided with focusing on strong core building along with training through practical sessions. The practical exams are a bit difficult, the theories are easy.

Dissatisfied with everything in this college.

Placements: I was not able to get any internship help from the college. The college has a placements target of 60%. As someone who has completed their course, I would not recommend you to look forward to the very basic jobs having packages of an average of 2 Lacs being offered. The roles were that of under-graduates.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the department is good. There are faculty members’ cabins, seminar hall, labs and library which are nicely maintained but the hostels are not that well-maintained. The mess quality is not good, mostly you will have to survive on the outside food rather than that of the mess.

Faculty: The teachers have knowledge and they share the same with the students but the curriculum is not updated regularly. The industry connect programs are not very active for our course. The semester exams are a bit difficult and the passing rate has been around seventy percent.

Quiet, affordable, and yielding satisfactory results.

Placements: The placement hasn't been great; we've faced a lot of problems. Only 20 companies were scheduled; most of them backed out, saying they weren't hiring. Only 40 to 50 percent of the students have gotten placed in packages that are less than average.

Infrastructure: There aren't any issues with the infrastructure; you'll live comfortably. Food choice is quite subjective; for non-vegetarians, there won't be much of an issue, but vegetarians might encounter problems. Wi-Fi isn't provided, nor is laundry service. However, medical help is available.

Faculty: The course itself isn't very difficult, and the exams can be passed easily; you just need to pay attention in class. The course curriculum gets updated regularly, and a few seminars are being conducted. The main focus is on building concepts and teaching practical skills.
