IIT Dhanbad Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: The placements were & always are upto the mark since the institution's inception. Several companies particularly the energy sectors like ONGC, Coal India, HPCL, Sclumberger, British Gas, Halliburton, Shell, OIL India, IOCL, Vedanta, Cairn India visit the campus every year & recruit a whole bunch of meritorious students. The Placement % of my senior batch is more than 50%. ONGC recruited about 16 students from the Applied Geology Department previous year.

Placements: The placements are decent in the college. If everyone is sincere from the beginning they are sure to bag a good placement. Also, specifically in petroleum, there are really good opportunities and almost all the big names of the industry visit the campus like Chevron, Cairn Oil and Gas, Indian Oil, Slb.

Placements: Nearly 85% percent of students get placed every year in our college. The highest salary package offered is 15 Lacs per annum, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are airswift and bradken. We Rae play major roles. Around 68% percent of students got internships.

Placements: About 70% of students were placed in my course last year. 56 LPA was the highest package offered, the lowest was 10 LPA, and the average was 14 LPA. Bajaj, Texas Instruments, JLR, BPCL, GAIL, etc. Analog and digital design engineer, Control engineer, etc.

Placements: In our college, almost 80% of graduation students get placed every year. The average package offered is 17.00 LPA for the 2024 graduation batch. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, De Shaw, etc. In my course, almost 78% get placed in the 2024 year. Almost 25% got intern offers.

Placements: In the 2022-2023 batch, the overall placement percentage for B.Tech students was around 81.31%, while for Electrical Engineering students, it was 24%. The highest package offered was 51 LPA, the lowest was 8 LPA, and the average package was 20.49 LPA. Microsoft was a prominent recruiter.

Placements: In 2023, the highest salary for the B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering at IIT Dhanbad was INR 56 Lacs, the average salary was INR 16.98 Lacs, and the median salary was INR 15 Lacs. The percentage of the batch that was placed was 69.97%.

Placements: For my course, i.e., Mathematics and Computing, the average package for 2024 was Rs. 2500000. The highest package was Rs. 5100000 and the lowest package was Rs. 600000. About 80% of students in my course were placed in 2024. Top recruiters were Google, Amazon, Uber, etc.

Placements: Every year, the percentage placement is beyond 80%. For the 2024 batch, the highest offered is 59 lakh, and the lowest offered is 5 lakh. The average is 17 LPA. Many companies come for different roles, with top companies like Google, Microsoft, De Shaw, and Atlassian coming for recruitment.

Placements: Around 70 percent of students got placements. Maximum no one got better internships but placed well. Highest ,lowest and average will vary year to year, only your cgpa matters. In any Indian institute of Technology we not only have core and also we have non core opportunities too.

The highest package was 49 lakhs per annum, the lowest package was 6 lakhs per annum, and the average package was around 10 lakhs per annum, according to the data from the 2024 placements. Top recruiting companies include Bajaj, Tata, Accenture Japan, and others.

Placements: Placements here are quite good for branches like CSE, Mechanical, Electrical, Mining, and Petroleum, making this great motivator a cause for no regret. It is situated in the heart of the industrial belt and is pretty close to Kolkata, offering weekend getaways and the best industrial exposure in one package.

Google, Microsoft and IBM were among the top recruiting companies. Furthermore, 11 international offers were made. 234 PPOs were offered with 199 accepted.

The given statistics are for the Mechanical Engineering department only. Both core and non core companies (90%) were open to all the branches and the interview was totally dependent on the skill of the individual. The placement percentage was 70%.
