Best government college. Less fees and great return. Reputed institute.
Placements: In my branch, the placement rate is 100% since this IIT has been established. The highest package was INR 1.12 cpa, which was international and was placed off campus, while domestic was INR 60 lpa. The top recruiting companies are Bosch, Paytm, Google, etc. Since I am in my first year, I don't know much about internships, but as I have heard, you get about an INR 30 to 40k stipend.
Infrastructure: We don't have our own campus, but a GC campus. We reside on the GC campus. We have only five lecture halls and a small library made in a bungalow. About medical and Wi-Fi, it's very good, and the mess food is the same as others; it's not very bad or top-notch.
Faculty: The teachers here are educated at renowned universities and have very good teaching experience. And if we talk about CSE, it's one of the most respectable courses in this current generation. The exams are tough, as it is IIT, and there is no scope for copying, cheating, or passing.
Other: If you are thinking of joining this IIT, you will not enjoy your four years of journey but definitely will enjoy your next 40 years as it has one of the best placements compared to 3rd generation IITs.

IIT Goa Inside Out: Through a students view.
Placements: The CDC of IIT Goa is strong enough even though its an 3rd generation IIT. In CSE 100% students were placed. Top Recruiters included accenture, intel, bosch, amazon, google, delloite any many other top MNCs. The Career Development Cell of the institute supports and mentors the students right around from 3rd year by providing the accurate knowledge of what industry requires and the CDC also ensures most of the students get 6-month industry or research internships with great stipend.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms have state-of-art facilities. Each class has digital teaching equipments required for teaching technical subjects of course. Also the classes are comfortable with ACs installed in each class. Even though the college is still situated in its temporary campus the library has all the books required for all the subjects. The institute also provides access to few digital books too. The Hostels are also clean, well-facilitated. Other required facilities like Clinic, stores, food are there on a walking distance from Hostel. Hostel and classrooms all have wi-fi with a decent speed. The most important topic of accommodation is food. The Quality of food in mess is nice. The menu is also diverse making all students feel home at the campus.
Faculty: The faculty is well qualified with great knowledge and experience of working in the industry along with their great research journals accepted by top organizations of world. Their teaching technique is also perfect for students, which includes tutorials, assignments, projects, etc. Over the semester. There are also teaching assistants provided to get help on the subject. The curriculum is well up-to date and has the topics important for working in the industry and the value of curriculum is proved by the placement results. The Exams are well structured and guarantee continuous assessment of students including 2quiz,1midsem,1 endsem exam. The exams are not much difficult as they have relatively grading and studying according to the professor or required notes and books ensuring good grades in graduation.
Other: Campus crowd is supportive and ensuring growth, harmony and pace. Here in IIT Goa there is healthy competition in every field ensuring your growth. There are many fests all over the year. However there are two Main fests one cultural fest called cultrang and one technical fest called cepheus. The Connectivity is good, the nearest airport is on a 1-hour drive, railway station at drive of 30 minds. There also great sports facilities. There are many scholarships and financial aids for need students.

A review of a student at IIT Goa.
Placements: Percentage of B.Tech students placed at IIT Goa in 2023 was 99%. In B.Tech 2023 placements, the highest package offered was INR 60 LPA and average package offered was INR 17.19 LPA. In 2023, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Intel, Goldman sachs are the top recruiters at IIT Goa.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi availability in the campus and hostel as well. Labs, Classrooms, Library are quite good. There are no issues with facilities provided in the hostel. The mess food is good which follows a menu. There is a canteen near the mess and there are also medical facilities, sports and games.
Faculty: The teaching quality is understandable and the teachers are very supportive. The course curriculum has some concepts which will be helpful for students to get into the industry. The difficulty level of the semester exams in the college is medium to hard.
Other: I liked the course curriculum which provides many concepts that are helpful to get into tech industry.

Poor infrastructure of the temporary campus, excellent faculty, internships, and placements.
Placements: The average salary package offered for CSE is 23 LPA and the median salary package offered is 21 LPA. Various roles are offered by almost 100 companies including Paytm, Microsoft, Meta, and Wipro which visited the campus. About 90% of students got internships in Texas Instruments, Code Nation, and other companies.
Infrastructure: The campus has poor Infrastructure as there is no permanent campus yet. Very less strength and a small hostel are available. There are frequent power cuts and Wi-Fi issues. The food quality is not bad and canteen is far from the hostel but excellent medical facilities. Sports and gaming facilities are quite good.
Faculty: Teaching quality is very good compared with other IITs according to my knowledge. Teachers are qualified and experienced as well. Institute offers a good amount of electives that make us explore the field we want and get industry-ready. Exams are difficult. The pass percentage is good but gaining good grades is very tough.
Other: Fests held online were a great success but when offline, fests of our college lack behind because of the infrastructure.

Good environment and best faculty team.
Placements: There are no placement record because 2019-20 is the first placement year. I am a first-year student so I do not know. But placement start from next year. IIT Goa established in 2016. Our seniors are very good so I think they all will get a good job or a good college for higher study.
Infrastructure: IIT Goa does not have its own campus. Now whole college work including the hostel whose construction is going on GEC campus and the construction will be completed till January 2019. We have 3 lecture hall. 3 tutorial room. One badminton court, a gym, volleyball court, football ground, table tennis, and other sports facility. New blocks are on construction.
Faculty: Best thing about IIT Goa is its faculty. Students are free to ask any doubt at any time. Faculty are very good. Faculty help in solving any problem and encourage to learn new things. IIT Bombay is the mentor of IIT Goa so all of its courses are the same as IIT Bombay.
