The campus of IIT Indore .
Placements: We are the first batch of chemical engineering at IIT INDORE, so there are no placements right now as we are studying in 3rd semester of B.Tech course. We are trying to approach several internships in upcoming 5th semester. We are now focusing on internships.
Infrastructure: There are total five to six hostel at IIT INDORE campus which includes namely CVR, VSB DA, HJB etc. There are five practical building and Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. The quality of mess food is quite good and it has its own health center and sports complex.
Faculty: Most of the teachers ( professors) are Ph.D. graduates and very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. And all the teachers are very helpful. The course curriculum includes the core and electives courses. The semester exams are very difficult. The pass percentage is high.
Other: I had got this course because of my JEE Advanced rank but I am getting into it nowadays and bit interested in agricultural field as a chemical engineer.

Life at IIT Indore with excellent placements.
Placements: I am in my 2nd year of chemical engineering. There are currently 38 students, including me, in our batch. The highest package for this year was around 64 lacs. The lowest was around 5 to 6 lacs. The average package for each branch was different. My branch is a new one, and I am in the first batch so we will be placed in 2027. Many copies come to our campus from many startups and big companies like Google, as well as from many government companies like IOCL. As the recession is taking place, the placement for this year is a bit low, but still, it is good. In my course, there is a vast diversity, as we can enter into chip companies as well as beauty product companies, oil companies, steel companies and many others.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our campus is awesome. It is very beautifully made. It looks refreshing and lively. There are pods built for our laboratories. The laboratory are big. There is a big chemical lab built and the infrastructure is still added every year with new addition. Our hostel is also very good. They are very comfortable to live in. They have many facilities, like coolers and bug windows for full ventilation. The atmosphere of our campus is very cool and windy. The medical facilities are also very good, with a health center and many doctors working there. There is also a sports complex dedicated for fitness and leisure, along with a swimming pool, gym, basketball court, volleyball court, football court, badminton court, squash court, etc.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful and very highly qualified. Their qualifications are also very high. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum of our first year was regarding the basics of engineering, from which we learned a lot. There are two semesters and in each semester, there is one midterm and one end term. As the competition in IITs is always high, it is always a tough competition. The pass percentage depends on the professor for each subject. They decide how the exams and quizzes should be held.

IIT INDORE insights from an IITian.
Placements: 85% of students secured placements, with the highest at 64 LPA and the lowest at 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies include De-Shaw, Google, and and Ebluinet Securities, offering roles such as software development engineer, business development manager, and marketing associate. These companies also provide internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: I am pursuing a B.Tech. in chemical engineering. The first year is common for all branches, with a student-teacher ratio of 1:250 initially, which reduces in the subsequent years. The classrooms are elegant, providing an amazing environment. Hostels are clean and well-maintained, with daily toilet cleaning. The campus offers various sports facilities.
Faculty: All faculty members hold Ph.D. degrees with 3 to 5 years of experience. They make efforts to deliver quality teaching. However, I personally find the course curriculum outdated. Many students opt for non-core placements and self-learn coding. The difficulty level of semester exams varies among professors.
Other: The IIT crowd is top-notch, and there is a collective drive for growth, creating an overall competitive environment. The college festival is well organized and conducted by the students, offering a fun experience.

IIT INDORE : Best Campus Life With Greater Opportunities.
Placements: Almost every year, 90% of students get placed, and from CSE branch, 100%. The highest package at my college is 68 LPA and going on. The lowest package is 8 lpa, and the average package, including all domains, is 20 lpa. All branch students get placement with a decent package. Top recruiting companies include Google, Nvidia, Amazon, Walmart, Bhel, PW, and many more. Almost 50–60% of students got internships for SDE roles in Google, Bhel, and PW. The roles are offered for SDE, technical roles, etc.
Infrastructure: There are well-equipped labs in buildings with free Wi-Fi access, big LED screens, and modern teaching classrooms with good-quality sound speakers. The infrastructure of every building is modern and beautiful. The Wi-Fi service is available in every hostel, lab, classroom, and auditorium. The hostel facilities are good too. We will find two student occupancy rooms, four rooms, two toilets, two washrooms, one kitchen, one living room, one balcony, and two sets of very high-quality chairs. The room contains a study table, chair, and B.Ed. almirah (you have to buy your own mattress). The hostel common area contains one big LED TV, a table tennis kit, a carrom, a badminton court, and a free-to-use sports kit. There is one health center too for our good health, and the health center fee is included in our fee receipt. The mess food is very good and a better-cost return meal. There are many canteens, shops, and other shops that need our help. There is no need to go outside the campus. The sports facility is too good to stay healthy and strong. There are two football grounds, one cricket ground, two basketball courts, two volleyball courts, one swimming pool, and many table tennis courts. Many tournaments happen for your entertainment.
Faculty: The teaching staff is very helpful for our academic journey. The professors are highly educated and kind. The teaching quality is good and classrooms contain digital equipment like LED screens, speakers and comfortable chairs. The course curriculum is good enough to train us for future jobs, including many projects. The difficulty level of exams is very easy, but it is difficult to score high marks. Pass percentage depends on other student's marks too, so no absolute marking works here, only relative marking.
Other: The B.Tech course is designed well to make students skilled and ready for industry-level. We will be given many projects to improve our skills. There is central India's big teach fest, FLUXUS, celebrated in March. The campus contains 3,000 to 4,000 students. The campus is surrounded by high-level security. You will be easily allowed to go around the campus even at night for girls too. There are too many scholarships provided to you to make your life very good. The bank offers loans too; a Canara Bank branch is located here on campus.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
