Have a look at IIT Jammu, a new IIT having pretty good performance compared to other 3rd gen IITs.

Placements: Last year about 60% were placed on and off campus. Placements are pretty average here; nothing like crores of packages. The highest package is 45 lacs. The average package is 19 lacs. The lowest package is 11 lacs. Top recruiters are Microsoft, Qualcomm, Samsung, Nvidia, etc. About 70% of students get international and domestic internships as we have collaborations with the Taiwan study center also. Top roles offered are software engineer, business consultant, web developer, etc.

It has natural beauty, but not sure about the quality of education.

Placements: Out of 22, only 7-8 students got placed. Two of them secured jobs in land management, one in management, and the rest in teaching profiles. Unplaced students opted for higher studies. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA and the minimum salary package offered is 7 LPA. All students secured internships. Top roles offered in our batch are software developer and data analyst.

A decision to join in IIT Jammu.

Placements: Approximately 60% of students get placed in the chemical discipline. I don't know the exact statistics for 2024, but based on 2023 data, the highest salary package offered was 53 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 5 LPA-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are mainly petroleum companies like Hindustan Petroleum, among others.

College is very much recommended.

Placements: This college has a very nice placement record. Many top multinational companies come here and give good packages to students. In the 3rd year, many companies provide internships to the students and many of them, after seeing the work done by them, give them pre-placement offers.

IIT Jammu - Indian Institute of Technology review.

Placements: IIT Jammu is a typical third-generation IIT. It has been an average kind of year for placements. However, the placement system seems impressive and assuring enough that it will be improved by the time I graduate in 2028.

Although it's a new IIT, it gives tough competition to 2G IITs. Placements are getting better.

Placements: 66% of students are placed in this year and the highest package offered was 35 lakhs, 15 lakhs was the average package offered, and the lowest package offered was 5 lakhs. IBM is the company that recruits the highest number of students. Students got internships at Google.

Some of the faculties are not good. Decent placements.

Placements: I am from the chemical branch, I am going to graduate in 2028. The placements of my branch are decent in the past few years. Around 60-70% of students were placed in the past few years. The average package of my course in the past years was around 14 LPA. The faculties of my branch are also good.

The highest package was 54 LPA for B.Tech student whereas for M.Tech, it was 52 LPA in 2022. Amazon, L&T, etc. are the top recruting companies.
