Compared to the above categories, the competition was tough for the students belonging to the SC category in the AI quota for admission to the BTech courses based on the JEE Advanced ranks. As per the last-round closing ranks, BTech in CSE was the most in-demand specialisation, followed by Mathematics & Computing and Electrical Engineering. The first round cutoff for CSE, Mathematics & Computing, and Electrical Engineering stood at 1093, 1566, and 1912, respectively. Yes, GATE exam dates have been announced. The GATE application form gets released on the official website at gate.iisc.ac.in. The exam will be conducted online as a computer-based test for 29 papers. The total seats available for all BTech branches combined are 305 seats. This intake is incluseive of the Gender Neutral and Female-only (including Supernumerary) pools and is inclusive of all student categories, such as Open, Open-PwD, GEN-EWS, GEN-EWS-PwD, SC, SC-PWD, ST and ST-PWD, among others. Candidates are offered seat in IIT Jammu BTech course based on JEE Advanced score.
At the time of JEE Main registration and final seat allotment via JOSAA students must keep the following documents and information ready for a smooth application process:

The minimum eligibility required is a bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (4-year course) or a master's degree in Science with 60%-65% aggregate. Relaxation of 5% aggregate or 0.5 CPI is offered to SC/ST/PwD category candidates on the minimum eligibility score.
However, candidates who wish to apply to the MTech programme must have a valid GATE score. However, candidates are screened based on their CGPI in BE/BTech and GATE score and then the shortlisted ones are further called for a written test and interview for final seat allotment process.
