Our college is worth the money paid.

Placements: Our college provides good placements. Almost 100% of students got placed in our course. Many companies like Graviton, Japanese Companies, Microsoft, and Mitacs visit our college to recruit students. The top role offered is SDE.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our campus is beautiful. It covers over 852 acres of land. The library, hostels, and academic buildings are well-furnished. The hostel facilities are good. They provide single occupancy rooms equipped with air-conditioners. The water facility is good.

Faculty: Our college has highly qualified and well-diverse faculty members. They provide good education. The course curriculum is well-designed. This course provides basic knowledge.

AIDE - one of the best branches in second gender IITs.

Placements: Right now, our batch hasn't been placed yet, however I can comment on the internship stats. Most on campus companies Like DE Shaw, Oracle, Arcesium etc. Had selections from AIDE. Our college had 20+ selections for MITACS a large number of which were from AI. The major roles were SDE and Machine learning.

Infrastructure: Every hostel room has LAN and Wi-Fi, the same is true for all different labs. There is also a lab by Samsung and a lab from NVIDIA dedicated to research for AI. Also there's a complete school of AIDE in campus. Most of the labs however currently are held in department of CSE due to large number of common courses.

Faculty: Curriculum is simply amazing covering every aspect of AI and CSE. However faculty performance on this course is average. The content is nice however the grading and competition within the branch is very high. This comes out as a disadvantage because of relative grading policy at the institute.

Unveiling Excellence - IIT Jodhpur (IITJ).

Placements: The percentage of students who got placed in AI this year (2024) and this course is 89%. The highest package is 42 LPA, the lowest package is 8 LPA, and the average package is 20.3 LPA. Tiger Analytics: 7 Offers MAQ Software: 6 Offers ICICI: 8 Offers Accenture Japan: 8 Offers Mercedes: 5 Offers & Many More. We do not have much knowledge regarding internships. Total Internship: 100+ On-campus internship: 65+ Total Companies: 80+ Median stipend (on campus): 45,000 PM Average stipend (on campus): 51000 PM .

Infrastructure: So we have school of AI & DE, but this is for PG not UG and we come under CSE department. Here, every building contains Wi-Fi, including my department. Labs are well-equipped, like a supercomputer, which exists only here in IITJ compared to all other IITs. Classrooms are also well-equipped but there may be some power cut-off while studying, although the possibility is very low. Yes, it happens sometimes. We have library full of books and we even have library which consists of enormous amount of books. In the offline library, you will find book of each course you will be studying till your last day in college. The quality of the hostel is quite good. We are the only IIT that has rooms with AC, and we are properly equipped with Wi-Fi and an Ethernet port in each room. As with other colleges, you will not want to eat lunch or dinner for 2-3 days per week, and breakfast is almost always adequate. The canteen has a large menu but they make only a few things that will be eatable; other things will be a waste of money. The medical facility is okay. Sports: We have large number of sports option like Cricket, Football, Hockey, Basketball, Badminton, TT, tennis, etc.

Faculty: Here, faculty members are qualified; you can't say this faculty is below average. Although they are highly qualified, just like other colleges here at IIT, professors will give you the typical professor vibe while teaching. Exams are quite difficult but as an IITian, you will cover the whole syllabus within a week and easily crack the exam. Pass percentage is generally 30%, attendance attendance>75% or no attendance policy if you get a grade >C-.

Other: I have chosen this college as my rank (CRL = 3077) allowed only few colleges with desired courses and I have chosen this as the best choice for me. The best thing of my course is that the faculty members are highly qualified and students, even from abroad, want to work/study under our professors. I donot not think there is anything which needs improvement in my course, as it is really well-made course which will make you industry-ready. Events are organised for many festivals like Janmastmi, Holi, etc. Fests: Prometeo Ignus Spandan Varchas and some small fests. The campus crowd is almost 5000 Campus Surroundings are like nobody cares who you are or what do you do until they know or need you. Scholarships SC/ST/Physically Handicapped Tuition Fee waived off family income < 100,000 tuition fee waived off family income < 500000 2/3rd tuition fee waived off if you donot not qualify for these scholarships, then there will be other scholarship programs that will be available at the college.

Good placement in 2021. Improvement in food quality is required.

Placements: More than 80% students are placed in this year, i.e. batch of 2019. Almost 90% students were placed last year, I. e. batch of 2018. 5 students are selected for Google SDE intern, and in Microsoft, etc. for internship.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of IIT Jodhpur is wonderful. The hostel, lecture buildings and departments are good. There are different hostels for boys and girls. One student is provided a single room, containing one chair, one table, one fan, AC and one almirah.

Faculty: The professors and assistant teachers are very helpful. They clear our doubts not only in the classes but also outside the classes. The semester exams are quite difficult. The students who are regular can score well. Pass grade is atleast D. In first year, all the students study the same course and in 2nd year, DSA and Machine learning are common for all the students.

Other: There is a new department introduced last year which is Engineering Science. This is a new course and beneficial for other branches. IITJ has 4 major fests. The technical fest is held in January 2023 and also IGNUS is held in February.

Best among the new IITs, but prefer old IITs.

Placements: Placements & Internships were good before recession but currently they are average. Many companies visit here including google and amazon. Only CSE and EE branches are allowed for internships. If you are in CSE/AI/EE then your placement chances are 95-100%, otherwise it depends on your skills.

Infrastructure: Single AC Rooms are given to everyone. Unlimited Wi-Fi with good speed and ethernet connection in each room is provided. Good classrooms are present. Mess food is average. Badminton courts, football ground, cricket ground, table tennis & gym are present in the in hostels. Bus to and from city is available. Vending machines are there in the mess and in some hostels.

Faculty: Classes are useless, better to focus on skills and study one day before the exams. Less grades are given. Almost everyone passes in them so that is a good thing. If you can get C or better (6/10 or better), then you can have 0% attendance in that course and still pass.

Other: I chose it because of my interest in the branch. There are so many weird compulsory courses not related to my branch (in any IIT). I wish instead finance courses or entrepreneurship course were made compulsory. Many great fests, good campus life in general, but campus is isolated from the city.
