One of the fastest growing 3rd gen IIT.

A new and prancingly budding Institute.
Placements: This year first batch is getting placed. But placement statistics is quite higher than it is expected from a new IIT. Among the recruiters are Amazon, L&T, UIDAI, OYO, RadiSys, GSTN, Atonarp, Xenia and more are yet to recruit. Placement records are quiet high for Computer Science and Electrical Candidates but very few Candidates from Mechanical have been placed in core companies. Talking about internships we have Training and Placement Cell which looks into this. If you are hard-working and knowledgeable enough you can get internships even in first year. Final official statistics about placements and internships is yet to be announced.
Infrastructure: The institute is currently running from its temporary Campus in Raipur which is about 30km away from the permanent Campus which is being constructed in Bhilai. In our temporary Campus, we have a health centre, chemistry lab, physics lab, computer centre, Electrical lab, FPGA lab, Mechanical workshop, DIY lab and Wi-Fi facilities in hostels and main building.
Faculty: All teachers are well qualified but not well experienced and need to learn how to teach. Each semester we have three exams instead of two. So the course is divided into three small parts which reduces the burden to some extent and is quite helpful.
Other: Meraz- annual cultural fest is organised every year. Prauatna is our intra Institute sports championship. There are government as well as Institute scholarships.

A growing college with lots of developments in the future.
Placements: Campus Placements 2023-24: 50% placed on campus for mechanical engineering roles in consulting, IT, core (technical), finance, analytics, management, teaching, and research. Avg (overall) - 13.02 LPA. Companies - Mahindra, Tata Autocomp, TCS, HCL, Accenture, NVIDIA, Winjit, L&T, etc.
Infrastructure: We have a state-of-the-art campus with beautiful buildings, lakes, and greenery all around. The campus has centralized Wi-Fi with good speed. Hostels are good, with AC in each room. Currently, there are 3 hostels. Labs, classrooms, and the library are all well-equipped with the latest technologies. Mess food is good here. There is a common health center. Sports and games are in the development phase, as the campus is new. It will improve over time.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified. All are Masters in their fields and are busy with their research work. For the first year, the course is common for all. From the second year onwards, we are taught our core courses. Exams here are not very tough compared to JEE, but you will hardly get time to study because of the extracurricular activities. This makes it a difficult job for many students to manage academics. Saturdays and Sundays are off. Classes are from 8:30 to 12:30 (not always, we get breaks too if there isn't a lecture scheduled) and then labs are from 2:30 to 5:30. For the first year, it is two times a week.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
