Satisfied because of the campus area, facilities are good and faculty are helping in nature.
Placements: There are 70 students in my batch. The highest salary for IIT Kharagpur aerospace engineering graduates can range from 30–40 lacs per annum for domestic roles and up to 1 crore or more for international positions. The lowest salary tends to be around 10–12 lacs per annum. These packages can vary based on the industry, company, and location, with core aerospace companies offering higher packages compared to other sectors, like consulting or tech.
Infrastructure: The labs are really good; everything is available, but some machines are old, and the Wi-Fi is sometimes really good and sometimes horrible—it doesn't even connect. Facilities in the hostel are okay. Everything is available, but some things are old; switches are broken, etc. The food is a little disappointing for vegetarians.
Faculty: Faculty members are really good-natured and supportive; they also have very good knowledge of their field. The course curriculum is relevant; it teaches the things that are necessary for the field and also develops students' mindsets. Semester exams are a little bit tough.

Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Placements in our college are low, but gradually increasing every year. In the B.Tech aerospace engineering course, less than 50% of students got placed because companies seek higher knowledge. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Bharat Electronics Limited, Larsen & Toubro, and many multinational firms such as Boeing, Airbus, Lockheed Martin, Rolls-Royce, and SpaceX visit our college to recruit students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent. Surroundings will tempt you to concentrate and study in class. Infrastructure of the hostel is not very good. The food served in the mess is fine. Canteens are cleaned daily after every meal. Every hall has sports facilities. We have a court for multiple outdoor sports.
Faculty: Our teachers are very supportive, helpful, and well-qualified. They are highly knowledgeable in their subjects. The curriculum makes us industry-ready. Teachers teach us all the core concepts of the course. Passing semester exams and scoring average marks is easy.

A brief review of IIT Kharagpur.
Placements: In my course, 4 year B.Teach Aerospace Engineering, 38% of the total students got the placement. The highest package was 19.6 Lacs per annum and the lowest was 3 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies were Microsoft, American Express, Air India, Zomato, Flipkart and many others. Among 4 year B.Teach students, 38% of the students got placements and among 5 year dual degree (B.Teach + M.Teach), 50% of the students got the placements.
Infrastructure: All facilities are excellent, like the Wi-Fi speed, labs, and classrooms are big in size, and our campus has Asia's the largest digital library. The quality of hostel facilities is good. There are many hostels inside the campus and all hostels have different facilities. Some hostels have good rooms and other facilities but the mess food may be average and some hostels have average rooms and facilities but excellent mess food. This is because the hostel feels the same for all students. Our campus has its own hospital for medical treatment.
Faculty: All teaching staff are Ph.D. graduates and all of them have good experiences in teaching. Most of the courses are curriculum relevant and we should also study some courses that are irrelevant to the course. It makes students perfect engineers by their excellent curriculum and teaching and makes students ready for the industry. There are 3 types of exams conducted here, majorly mid-semester exams, class tests and end-semester exams. Exams are very difficult here. Pass percentage is very irregular but most of the time it is above 70%. .
Other: Rocket, space shuttle, and the study of space have fascinated me since I was a child. So I wanted to become an aerospace engineer and work at ISRO for India. The best thing about the course is that it increases our chances of getting a job at ISRO or any space center you wish to work at. Everything is good but if they removed irrelevant courses from the curriculum, it would be better. There are many fests held in our colleges and 2 major fests are held at the end of January every year; they are the fest and the Kshitij (technological fest). And there are many other events held here. The campus is rich in greenery and all the working staff and students are kind and helpful.

Students can explore various profiles to understand and know more about themselves.
Placements: Coming to the placements, almost 90–95% of all the students get placed every year. The average package is INR 12–15 lacs, with a CTC of INR 20–25 lacs. Talking about the highest package and the lowest package, it varies from year to year, but the highest will be over INR 1 crore CTC for sure. Around 350–400 companies come for recruitment, including HFTs and other top companies like Google, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, Zomato, Sprinklr, etc. 40–50% of all the students get internships in companies like JP Morgan Chase, Sprinklr, Mathworks, Amazon, Google, and also HFTs. Companies hire students for various profiles like software development, data analysis, finance, product management, consulting, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available everywhere on campus, and the library is maintained with a variety of books available. Food in the mess can be rated 3/5; if you are not comfortable with it, there are many canteens and cafes nearby. You can get food anytime. Extracurricular activities can be rated 4.5/5; for people interested in sports or culture, you can find many options to get into.
Faculty: Yes, the teaching is so good. Professors are always ready to clear your doubts. It depends on the interests of the students. If the student is interested in the core subject, it is surely helpful. The pass percentage is over 90%, which is good enough.

Good college and nice halls.
Placements: Almost the whole college gets placed. The highest package was around 1.8 cr. I'm not really sure about the lowest, though. Top recruiters are Google, Kepler Canon, Amazon, and Microsoft. Around 40 percent get internships. In my course, placements are quite low, but it's nice.
Infrastructure: Hostels are very bad. Hostels are known as halls. There are some halls, like: Rajendra Prasad Mammal of residence Radhakrishnan Hall of Residence Megnath Sahahall of Residence Azadhall of residence Nehru Hall of Residence Patel Hall of Residence And hjb and jcb.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Teachers are very interactive. Teachers are very handsome. Teachers are very cute. Teachers are very enthusiastic. Teachers are very enterprising. Course relevancy is very good, but Sandeep Saha is a bad teacher; he just yaps all the time.

Hello Fakruddin, Yes, it's perfectly possible to take admission in any IIT based on your Diploma. Just remember, IITs consider Diploma to be equivalent to class 12th and hence you will get admission in the first year provided you meet all other criteria.
