College has excellent placements every year.
Placements: About 85% of students are placed in my branch. The highest package offered from my course is ₹92 LPA, the average is ₹25 LPA, and the lowest is ₹8 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Flipkart, Oracle, Amazon, Palo Alto Networks, and many more. The top roles offered are as SDE, DA/DS, and consultant. Internships for around 15-20% of students are sorted.
Infrastructure: The campus is huge, occupying an area of 1,300 acres. It has two sections: one is BHU, and the other is IIT. Wi-Fi facilities are provided throughout the college campus. The infrastructure is quite old, as it was constructed over a hundred years ago. Hostels are okay, and the mess and canteen food is considered the best among all IITs. Medical, sports, and games facilities are adequate for pursuing a good interest.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified and engaged in various research work. The quality of education they impart is incomparable. Mechanical engineering is one of the toughest courses, making it challenging to score well in examinations. The pass CPI is around 5. Yes, the college prepares students to be industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because my JEE rank offered this as the best suitable option for me. The best aspect is that mechanical engineering provides a complete feel of engineering. Areas for improvement include living conditions and infrastructure. Events and fests are the best part of college.

IIT BHU is a good IIT to be in if you choose branches like CSE, ECE, or EEE.
Placements: Nearly 80-90% of students were placed in the last placement season, with packages ranging from 10 LPA to 1.68 LPA. The placements also depend on the branch you choose, as almost the entire circuital branch was recruited, but branches like Engineering Physics, Ceramic, and Pharma had the least number of students placed.
Infrastructure: The library has centralized AC, but it's not open 24/7; it opens at 6 AM and closes by 2 AM. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus, but the speed is not always great. The infrastructure is very old, but the classrooms are maintained and decent. Hostel life is not so great; some hostels are quite old, so be prepared to face insects and reptiles.
Faculty: Academic pressure is always there, as it's an IIT, but it largely depends on the branch you are in. In the second year, we also have exploratory projects, which help some students become familiar with the industry. There is relative grading, so the difficulty of exams doesn't depend on the paper but rather on your peers' capabilities of scoring.
Other: We don't have a closed campus, which is an issue that needs to be addressed. Also, the libraries are not big enough to accommodate the student crowd during exams. The overall fee is not too high.

Not too disappointed, infrastructure is bad, but placements are the best thing.
Placements: About 68% students got placed in my branch this year, which is quite low according to previous year, top recruiters are Goldmann sach, microsoft, jaguar, tata, Google, etc., the highest this year was 54 LPA, the lowest was 7 LPA; the average was 19 LPA; and if we talk about interns, approx. 20% got intern in adobe, tata, Google, etc.; the top roles were sde, data analyst, finance, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is so poor as it is too old, so you have to compromise with it. Wi-Fi connectivity is good, classrooms are bad, no AC is installed, the library is the best full-air conditioned, hostels are bad, only DG2 is good, the quality of food is good, although. canteens are best open till 4:00 am, the medical facility is good, ambulance support is 24 hours a day, and sports and games facilities are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, but they don't want to teach us perfectly. Only a few are good ones; teaching quality is bad. I don't think that the curriculum is relevant; it doesn't make students industry-ready. Ya, but semester exams are tough, and pass percentages in all courses are good, but for a few courses like F.M. and H.M.T., approx. 25% fail each year.
Other: I opt because only I am getting this; the best thing is that it is so tough; teaching quality must improve; ya, festivals are a good thing about it, but only pro nights, not the whole fest.

Review of Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi.
Placements: To get admission into my college, we have to crack both JEE Main AND JEE Advanced exams. Only merit-based students are selected. The highest package is 91.9 LPA and 21.95 LPA. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Jio, Tata, Ola, Oracle, etc., recruit around 70% of students for roles like Programme Manager, Designer, etc.
Infrastructure: Well, our campus is huge and has good infrastructure facilities, good labs, 24/7 Wi-Fi availability, and a well-stocked library. The food tastes good, with a variety of options available in the hostel and canteen. There is an ambulance facility and first aid kit available in the hostel. Our college has huge playgrounds with all required sports items.
Faculty: Well, our teaching faculty are qualified with Ph.D. from top universities across the globe. They follow different methods for better understanding. We have two semesters for every year consisting of 4 exams, namely two midterms and two end term exams with a gap of every 2 months. All exams are moderate. By following lecture notes, we can score great marks.
Other: Well, I've been fond of mechanical engineering from the beginning. The best part of my college is its provision of good placements. Including more advanced machines would enhance our knowledge. Our biggest fest is "KASHIYATRA," which is conducted for three days. "Technics" is also a popular fest followed by many other events. Our campus is an open one. National and state-level scholarships are available, with the best one being NSP.

Good placements. Must join college. Worth joining.
Placements: 85% of the students studying were placed. The highest package is 92 LPA, the average is 25 LPA, and the minimum is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Google, Amazon, JLR, etc. About 5-6% of the students received internships, with top roles as SDE, DA, etc.
Infrastructure: The college offers good Wi-Fi connectivity and moderate infrastructure. There are no ACs in classrooms and no availability of properly working equipment. The food quality from the mess and canteen is good, and the medical facilities are also nice, with 24/7 ambulance service. Additionally, there are many clubs for sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, with professors involved in research work. The course curriculum is relevant and helps make students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult, and an F grade signifies a failure.
Other: I chose this course because, according to my JEE rank, this was the best option available for me. The infrastructure and hostel conditions need improvement, which should be done at a higher pace. Aside from this, every event occurring in the college is amazing, like the fest.

If you want to be in core sector, Mechanical in IIT, BHU is good. IIT, BHU is a very old college, and branches like Civil and Mechanical are best. If you want to join non-core after graduation, opt for Chemical at IIT KGP. Placements at IIT BHU are very good in CSE and core branches.
