Academics are pretty hard, and some professors are bad at speaking English and teaching.

Placements: The CSE branch got over 90% plus placements in the IT field, and the rest are either in non-core or startups. In the electrical branch, core placements are decent. Almost all the students who are interested in core got placed successfully. Non-core and IT companies gave almost over 70% placements in the electrical branch. Other branches have low core placements, but there, we saw good placements in non-core and IT domains. The average package offered is 20 LPA for IT and non-core and 17 LPA for ...

Administrators and deans are corrupt here.

Placements: Placements in our college are good here. The average salary package is 12 LPA in our course. You don't need to worry about placements because even in the top IITs, there is a 95% chance to get less than 1.2 lacs per month. So the thought that students from top IITs earn a lot must be dropped. If you want to earn more, go and involved in the business field, startups, etc.

Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: About 70-80% of the students from our course got placed, and other students will have their own plans like to do PhD or government jobs. The highest salary package offered this time is 13 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Dell and MathWorks visit our campus for placements. There is less chance to get an internship, or it may depend on the class coordinators.

Nice place, flexibility in choosing courses.

Placements: For EE, core companies that came on campus were less at that time. But many CS companies came. For EE, 70% of the batch was placed and the average package I think was above 10LPA. Different types of companies recruited including startup and placement team helped in all possible ways. For Internships there were no companies for EE, so had to look on our own.
