Our college has good value for money.

Placements: Around 80% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package depends on students. The average salary package offered in our course is 15 LPA. Top roles offered are PM, PA SDE, analyst, etc. It is difficult to get internships because IT companies don't hire interns from the mechanical branch. Our college provides good placements.

Administrators and deans are corrupt here.

Placements: Placements in our college are good here. The average salary package is 12 LPA in our course. You don't need to worry about placements because even in the top IITs, there is a 95% chance to get less than 1.2 lacs per month. So the thought that students from top IITs earn a lot must be dropped. If you want to earn more, go and involved in the business field, startups, etc.

We are the first batch to graduate from IIT Ropar. So, most of the issues are due to identity crisis especially during placements. There was also no adequate faculty members so faculty from our mentor institute, IIT Delhi used to fill in. Apart from that there were no complaints, the infrastructure was adequate for Bachelors.
