Amazing experience and nice college life.
Placements: Approximately 85 to 90 percent of the candidates secured positions in leading companies. Moreover, there were job opportunities available in various domains such as software development, consultancy, and core roles. The highest salary packages often reached up to 1 crore. Additionally, guidance and support were offered prior to the placement season.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is satisfactory, with well-equipped classrooms featuring fans and large writing boards. However, lecture halls do not have air conditioning. The campus provides Wi-Fi access, and the library is extensive, offering a wide range of books across diverse categories. The mess serves three meals a day, providing students with multiple food options.
Faculty: The faculty members possess extensive expertise in their respective domains, holding PhDs. They conduct classes with the utmost dedication, ensuring a high level of sincerity. The curriculum is designed to be challenging, and the exams effectively assess the students' grasp and command of the course material. It is directly applicable to our discipline. The college follows a fair grading system.
Other: I chose this branch because I liked mechanics while studying in JEE prep.

Good College. Infrastructure can be improved.
Placements: Placements are good with the highest package being 2.4 crores and obviously it is for computer Science. The highest package in Mechanical is 44 lac. if you are getting mechanical then I would suggest that you should change your branch in the first year only that will definitely give you an edge over others.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not that good as compared to other IITs. Expectations were high but the infrastructure of hostel and college building is not up to the mark. However, Greenery and Nature is probably the best in IIT BHU, even better than other IITs.
Faculty: Faculty is good. They are supportive. Even seniors are helpful and engaging. You will not feel lonely here. Curriculum is according to the latest trends. In respect of alumni network IIT BHU is very good . BHU was established years ago so it has a good alumni base.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, and we have separate tutors for personal guidance.
Placements: Almost all the students got placed in mechanical engineering, and some in core while others in non-core. Placements in non-core usually fetch more packages than the core. The average package in core is 12-15 LPA. The average package in non-core is 22-24 LPA. Roles offered in our course are data analyst, machine learning expert, mechanical core engineering roles etc.
Infrastructure: Our institute provides high-speed and unlimited Wi-Fi access to all its students. Labs are top-notch, as you will expect to be in an IIT. Games and sports facilities are awesome. For almost every game you play, you will find a club and its society of players.
Faculty: The teachers are very well qualified and informative. Research culture is supported a lot in our college. Semester exams are not very difficult but standard. People help each other a lot and your time studying here will mostly be fun. Top companies come here, and our college prepares us accordingly.
Other: The alumni network is great.

IIT Varanasi has got a fantastic campus life, and placements are excellent.
Placements: Placements are quite decent. Every willing student gets placed. Top companies hire students from the institute, in both core and non-core fields. Coding culture is quite prevalent. The highest package was around 1.5 Crore last year. More than half of the students prefer going into the software sector.
Infrastructure: The lecture halls are large enough to accommodate the strength of more than 150, and there are few halls for meetings. Lecture halls have projectors, speakers, and a screen. Wi-fi is provided all over the campus. The hostels seem to be old buildings, but they are really lovely and the gardens are beautiful in the campus. Hostels also have canteens, which provide a variety of food items. The mess provides tasty and quality food.
Faculty: The Professors are highly qualified in their respective fields, with a research profile. They're always ready to help the students. The course curriculum is being updated regularly. Labs are sophisticated and an enthusiastic one would never be dissatisfied.

IIT-Bhu rocks, come here and enjoy the holy Banaras, all my dear folks.
Placements: The placement scenario in the last 4 years has changed with a wide variation. Last year placement was like 800 students from the 1000 students who were participating. But, this year it is better than ever. I myself got placed in the Bajaj Auto Company. The highest package here this year goes to CS students with Rs. 1.3 crore per annum by Google and the average varies from department to department like in the mechanical engineering. For the B.Tech students, it is Rs. 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is like the homes built in the 1800s, but the evergreen campus full of trees and plants is really very astonishing. All labs are equipped with high tech instruments, but we lack the facilities of other IITs. We have 3 play ground, one cyber cell and all kind of indoor facilities in hostels.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-educated everyone here is PhD scholar each with much-published paper and patent. The good thing is they have the banarsi nature in them, so they are very helpful. The course structure is a little bit tough if you are weak in being regular and mugging up full books. All the extracurricular activities are informal and are organised by the head members among the students.
