The college has become very good in the state.
Placements: The college is very good. You can get admission to the college by giving WBJEE and even by JEE Mains. About 90% of students are placed in their fourth year. The highest package offered was 72 LPA, and the lowest package was 2.2 LPA. Top recruitment is done by TCS, Wipro, CTS, Mahindra, Oracle etc.
Infrastructure: The college has everything, but it lacks a playground. It provides free Wi-Fi to all the members. The labs are very good, and they are renovated every year. Every year, different types of sports activities take place, and students eagerly participate in these games and sports.
Faculty: Exams held are really tough. If you are an average student, you have to work hard to pass the semester exams. Even the mid-semester exams are tough because a lot of things are going on at the same time, like study, coding, fests, exams etc. It makes the students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because I was given this course. Currently, I am trying to get good marks so that I can have a batch change, if possible. A lot of fests take place like tech fest, fresher's party, farewell, etc., every year.

It is one of the top colleges of Bengal and discipline is one of the most important factor here.
Placements: More than 60% of the students get placed in reputed companies with an average salary package of 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is up to the mark. The college authorities provide all facilities. But the hostel facilities need some improvements. They are very scrupulous towards students, and they always tend students to maintain the discipline.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very punctual and cooperative. They are devoted and persistence towards teaching.
Other: Extra-curriculum is not a vital thing in this college. One cannot enjoy campus life here. But apart from this, they will able to know the real meaning of discipline, which will be very fruitful in the near future.

It is the best private colleges in West Bengal.
Placements: It is one of the best colleges in eastern India. There are many campus placements with high salary packages. But other colleges are struggling to provide placements. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA. It is one of the premium colleges in Kolkata. If you want to take admission in any branch like electrical, mechanical, etc., the WBJEE rank must be under three thousand. But if you want to take admission in CS branch, then your rank must be under one thousand.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided on the campus is world-class. It has Wi-Fi lab and library. The hostel is also available, which is clean when compared to other hostels. The food served is standard and pocket-friendly staff. There is also a basketball court available here.
Faculty: Most of the teacher are engineer and PhD holders. They always try to help students even if they are not on duty. They use modern teaching techniques. They provide us with industry exposure by sharing their experience. The course curriculum is very helpful.
Other: The college organises many events like innovation, Kolkata maker fair, etc.

Everything is good except the campus life.
Placements: IEM is only known for its placements. Lots of MNCs visit the college for placements and provide plenty of opportunities for students. The placement cell of IEM is very active and helps students in their placements. The average salary package offered is about 3 to 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: IEM, Salt Lake, has three buildings. One is the management building, second is the Aashram building, and the third one is the Gurukul building, which is the main building. The demerit of our college is it has no playground, but a basketball court, badminton court and indoor games like table tennis, pool and many others are available.
Faculty: IEM is the only college which provides the library facility 24*7. An auditorium is available to conduct seminars. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. IEM is known for its strict rules and regulations. Teachers are available even after the class hours to clear the doubts of students. Labs are well maintained.

A well-disciplined college.
Placements: The placement scenario in our college is good. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, CTS, etc., visited our campus for recruitment. This year, about 85% of the students got placed through campus recruitment. Every student is allowed to sit for more than two companies. The lowest salary package offered is 3.36 LPA, the highest salary package offered is 20 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Many facilities such as Wi-Fi, 24*7 library, well-maintained classrooms, etc., are available on the campus. The campus is not huge like other colleges. Labs are good with all the equipment to conduct experiments so that the students can understand the topics clearly.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are helpful and highly qualified. They clear all the doubts of students and help them whenever they face problems in understanding any topics. The way and the concepts they teach are quite good. They are helpful for students to gain knowledge and also during exams.
Other: Our college organises a techfest where many students from other colleges participate. Surroundings of our college are well-maintained. Our college also pays attention to extracurricular activities which are equally important as studies.
