Faculty was good, infrastructure was okay not to good and not too bad, and facilities were fine.

Placements: Approximately 50% of the students were placed. Companies like Reliance Industries, Larsen & Toubro, Prism Cement, Volvo Eicher, Corizo, and Intellipaat were the recruiting companies this year. No students got an internship from the college. The highest number of students recruited were in L&T, i.e. 16-17 students just from the Mech branch. The highest package was offered by Reliance Industries, i.e. 7.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: I was a day scholar, so I don't know much about the hostels, but the infrastructure of the college was okay— not so much modern type but old-featured, especially the mechanical department— but it was clean. The college campus is huge, spanning more than 200 acres. Wi-Fi was there, but not so good; the network was weak in the mechanical department. The library was used; there are lots of books, but there were few copies of each book; it was always first come, first serve.

Faculty: Teachers were always helpful and kind, knowledgeable, highly qualified, and their teaching quality was good. The semester exams were always tougher than the other exams, such as RGPV University exams. There were always difficult numericals in the examinations, entirely different from the other universities’ exams, so don't expect that you will pass the exam just by studying the night before.

Other: I was always interested in the mechanical subject, that's why I chose this course. There was a yearly fest named AVAHAN. The college is very old, so you'll have a very good connection in the industry, and almost everywhere you will find the alumni and seniors everywhere in the industry and well as different sectors.

Review of Jec Jabalpur engineering college.

Placements: Approximately 70 to 80 percent of students get placements in Jabalpur Engineering College. The average package of our college is 5 LPA. Many companies visit our college to give placements for the students of the college, like TCS, WIPRO, and some non-tech companies.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of Jabalpur Engineering College is very good with lots of gardens full of greenery everywhere. Classrooms and the library are fully maintained with good furniture. The hostel campus is very big. There are 8 blocks in our hostel where students live.

Faculty: Faculty and teachers are very helpful and well-qualified, knowledgeable with high teaching experience. Course and other curriculum activities are highly managed to provide good facilities for the students. Exams are difficult but not that much hard to pass.

Other: Jabalpur Engineering College is one of the best engineering colleges with respect to money. This college is affordable for pocket-friendly families. There are many types of events organized by the students of this college.

Why you should join this Engineering College!

Placements: There were around 35 students in my batch. You can sit for the campus placements form the 6th and 7th semester onwards. There are many companies like Jio and Reliance visiting, but most number of placements were offered by Tata with about 70% the students getting place with Tata. , it’s a good college.

Infrastructure: College is really beautiful and the canteen has really good food. My favourite are the samosas, they make really good samosas priced at ₹10/piece which is a little expensive but worth it. The garden is really beautiful and the library is big and good. NCC is available to join.

Faculty: The teachers are really friendly and helpful in nature. There are 6 semesters in 2 years. Exams are not too difficult if you study well and pay little attention. If you understand the chapters really nice, it will help you a lot in the future.

Other: I joined this course because it was easy to get an admission in and also affordable. While you're going for admissions, take all the necessary documents with you including your Aadhar card and Caste certificate which will help you can get a scholarship.

Good infrastructure and good facilities.

Placements: In my senior batch, only 30% of the students were placed from mechanical branch. The highest package was 10LPA and the average package was 4-5LPA. In my batch 60% of the students got the internship from mechanical branch but only 20% were from good companies and 2-3 students got their internship in various IIT's.

Infrastructure: In Jabalpur Engineering college, one computer lab is there which has 100 students capacity and Wi-fi is given to the students but with a daily limit. The classrooms are good and library also good facilities. We can sit as no. Of hours in the library to study there.

Faculty: In mechanical branch, there is a shortage of faculty members. Yes, the faculty members are qualified and knowledgeable. The syllabus is also good, it covers all the topics from the GATE syllabus. End semester exams are moderate, theory is asked in maximum amount. Passing percentage is about 80%.

Placements: In our college, approximately 30% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Reliance Retail, Infosys, L&T, Hindustan Petroleum, etc., visit our campus.

Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available with good speed. The library is good. Many books are available in the library. Labs and classrooms are good. The hostel rooms are good. Sports grounds are available. The quality of the food in the mess is good.

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. This year, JoSAA 2024 counselling will consist of five rounds only. Yes, of course. If you have sufficient marks in JEE, then by the inter college level counseling you can switch your branch but in other branch seats should be empty. Otherwise in second year you can also change branch as well as college. You have to get good result more then or equal to the 8 point

Industrial engineering is a good branch but the thing that matters is what interests you the most. If you want to do engineering then you can get admission in top colleges like IPU and JEC. If you don’t like the branch then you can change it in the inter level college counselling.
