Q:   I got 14513 rank in TS EAMCET (obc). Can I get seat in JNTUH.

A:
Based on the previous year's cutoff, a rank of 14513 in TS EAMCET under the OBC category may not be sufficient to get a seat in the B.Tech programs at JNTUH. However, the cutoff varies every year, and it is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. The cutoff for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH through TS EAMCET varies every year and depends on various factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, the availability of seats, and the category of the candidate. It is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. However, based on the previous year's cutoff, the minimum TS EAMCET rank required for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH was around 20,000 to 25,000 for the general category, and for the OBC category, the cutoff was around 30,000 to 35,000. Please note that the cutoff varies every year, and it is advisable to check the official website of JNTUH or the TS EAMCET counselling website for the latest cutoff ranks. Also, meeting the cutoff rank does not guarantee admission to the programme as the final seat allotment depends on the availability of seats, the candidate's preference, and other factors.

The life at JNTUH is incredible.
Placements: In the 2-year PGDM program, 100% of students were placed. The highest salary offered was INR 27 LPA, and the average CTC of the top 10% of placed students was INR 17.28 LPA. There are several departments in which case CSM is the major department on the campus. There are many students from mechanical IDP who got placed.
Infrastructure: The facilities in the hostel were excellent. Food in the men's hostel was worse than anything else. The sports are conducted in the various sports fields like cricket, football, and badminton, and the sports faculty is also better.
Faculty: The teaching staff in the college are very helpful and knowledgeable, who are well-qualified PHP holders, and they facilitate us to gain the knowledge from all the things as the safety sources they have. The curriculum that they are following is not much better than the other difficult semester that the college will be conducting.

Inside JNTUH you all need to know.
Placements: There is an approximately placement percentage of 60%. The packages vary from 3 LPA to 6 LPA. It's actually a good amount for a fresher who did B.Tech in Chemical Engineering. We can expect a much better package if we continue Chemical Engineering in Masters too.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good in the university, but there is no separate department for Chemical Engineering. We got merged with the Department of Metallurgy Engineering. Washrooms and classrooms are maintained neat. There is no water problem in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and open. They are highly experienced and have very good ways to understand the students. All our faculty are Ph.D. degree holders. We have 2 mid exams, 2 internal lab exams, 1 semester-end exam, and an external lab exam.

Life at JNTUH for students.
Placements: 90% of students got placements, and the package is decent with top companies like Microsoft and JP Morgan, along with internships. Most of them got managerial positions, and there is good placement training and career guidance. It is lucky for students to attend interviews at the top colleges in Telangana.
Infrastructure: Yes, there are all the facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, library, indoor sports, water, food, and security. Food is decent, and there is also a medical healthcare center. All sports are encouraged with tournaments, and those who perform well are also encouraged to go to the national level with funds.
Faculty: All teachers guide in a good way and are friendly in all subjects, providing guidelines for career growth. The pass percentage is 80%. The examination branch will guide the students about the exam schedule and fee payment, and they will allow students if there is any delay.
Other: Innovation and startups are encouraged in college, and there are many clubs to showcase their talent.

Good laboratory and infrastructure.
Placements: 60% to 80% of students are placed from my course. The highest package was 54 LPA, the lowest package was 6 LPA, and the average package was 7 LPA. Companies such as Indian Oil, Tata Chemical, Bharat Petroleum, Honeywell, and Reliance Industries are where most students are placed.
Infrastructure: For this course, the laboratory plays a crucial role. Everything is available in the lab, like flasks, test tubes, and chemicals. But all students are not allowed in the labs without permission. Emergency facilities are arranged in every lab, like fire extinguishers, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are helping out with live experiment execution. Every day, lab practicals are there. The classes are going on according to the timetable. If one teacher is absent, another faculty will take the class, but the class is not empty. In the exams, I faced some problems like forgetting some formulas, except that the exam is quite easy.

JNTUH: The Versatile Campus
Placements: Generally, in the Department of Chemical Engineering, there are more core jobs available. In our college, we have companies like Dr. Reddy's Labs and Reslon visiting for placements. The highest package in our branch is 24 LPA, while the average package is 8 LPA. Last year, almost 85% of students were placed in core companies.
Infrastructure: Regarding the infrastructure of the course, it is quite good, with well-equipped labs and excellent lab faculty. We have a library that consists of more than 50,000 books. The classrooms are okayish, and the hostel infrastructure varies; some rooms are not good at all, while others are excellent.
Faculty: The faculty in our college are qualified and talented. They are highly knowledgeable and friendly toward students. However, clearing all subjects in the semester exams can be a bit difficult, as the correction criteria are different. The pass percentage is 35%. Our faculty are very helpful and kind toward their students.
Other: As we all know, chemical engineering is one of the most durable and efficient fields for the future, so this course helps students achieve their goals. We will have a technical fest for two days.
