Q:   I got 14513 rank in TS EAMCET (obc). Can I get seat in JNTUH.

A:
Based on the previous year's cutoff, a rank of 14513 in TS EAMCET under the OBC category may not be sufficient to get a seat in the B.Tech programs at JNTUH. However, the cutoff varies every year, and it is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. The cutoff for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH through TS EAMCET varies every year and depends on various factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, the availability of seats, and the category of the candidate. It is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. However, based on the previous year's cutoff, the minimum TS EAMCET rank required for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH was around 20,000 to 25,000 for the general category, and for the OBC category, the cutoff was around 30,000 to 35,000. Please note that the cutoff varies every year, and it is advisable to check the official website of JNTUH or the TS EAMCET counselling website for the latest cutoff ranks. Also, meeting the cutoff rank does not guarantee admission to the programme as the final seat allotment depends on the availability of seats, the candidate's preference, and other factors.

JNTUH is the best college in Telangana.
Placements: JNTUH University is the best for every student who wants to raise in their career. Almost 90% of students are passing out and rising in their careers. They got placed in the best company. The salary package offered is 42 LPA. JNTUH is the best and recommended.
Faculty: Our college teachers are very skilled and strict in every course. They have 90% of qualified students. They are happily doing their jobs. It is a great college. In our college, they explain deeply from the 2nd year. They explain all topics. Our college professors and teachers explain every topic strictly and correctly. They provide assignments, PPT preparations, and presentations that help students self-confidence. The HOD sir and principal sir are very strict in rules and regulations.
Other: I like the construction of the building. Nowadays, the construction of the building plays a crucial role. All things are good in the college. They conduct events, fests, and seminars.

All you need to know about JNTUH.
Placements: 65% of students are placed in my stream. The highest package was 16 LPA, the lowest package was 3 LPA and the average package was 7 LPA. The companies that came for recruitment are L&T, Kantar, Cognizant, TCS, Asian Paints, etc. 100% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The campus covers land of about 100 acres. There are two libraries - the university library and the college library. All the course-related labs were renovated recently. The hostel food is normal, medical facilities are available, and there is a big ground.
Faculty: The teachers here are highly qualified and have done their PhDs in top reputed IITs. They put their efforts into helping the students. They help in getting internships. The college makes the students industry-ready by giving them practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge.
Other: I chose this college because of its location as it is located at centre of the Hyderabad city. The college has good history in getting placements.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty.
Placements: About 75% students placed in my course. 6 LPA is the highest, 4.5 LPA is average, and 3.6 LPA is the lowest package offered. Top recruiting companies are LNT and worley. Some students got internship from our course and in companies. Some students offered top roles.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, required lab equipments are available. University, college and department libraries are available. The hostel is nice, with quality food and other resources. Good mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports and games also encouraged. Good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The course make the students ready for industry. Semister exams are conducted by giving every concept equal importance which helps students to get good Marks in semester exams. Pass marks are fair enough ie 40.

Really good infrastructure, but I am disappointed with hostel. I am satisfied with the faculty.
Placements: The placements in civil engineering are not so good. There is much hype outside for JNTU, but it doesn't seem to have the same hype when it comes to placements. L&T, Worley, and Future First are the top companies that visit our campus. Even though they offer a not-so-good package, we still try to attempt to reach our best levels. The top roles may be structural engineer, construction engineer, etc. As of now, the highest package is INR 10 LPA and the least is INR 3 LPA, and only 20% of the students got placed.
Infrastructure: At our department, we don't have a Wi-Fi facility, nor do we at our hostels; hence, it creates a lot of problems for students and also hostellers. Our department is quite peaceful, very well maintained, and has a good atmosphere with ventilated classrooms and air conditioning. It is also quite spacious, with a large university library and a college library where all kinds of books are available. The Department of Civil Engineering is one of the biggest departments in our college. So, I would say that the infrastructure of our department is great. But when it comes to the hostel, it is the worst. Personally, I had faced a lot of problems in the hostel. We do not have a Wi-Fi facility; there are only 4 washrooms per floor, of which only two are in good condition, and the mess here is very bad. The food isn't tasty at all, but we adjust it every day. When we are in our 2nd and 3rd years, we are given rooms consisting of literally 17 members. I hope you people have understood the scenario now.
Faculty: The teaching here is very good, and all the lecturers here are very qualified and have done their B.Teach and their studies at IITs and NITs. They surely teach a quality subject and also clarify all your doubts at the same time. They will also help you understand the subject much better. The course curriculum here we follow is completely acceptable and relevant, and many of the other private institutions are affiliated with JNTU, so this surely makes the student industry ready. Semester exams are quite difficult, but they are not a matter for a student who has knowledge in the field. Students can easily learn the subject and also pass and score a good CGPA in the end-of-semester examinations.
Other: I chose this course just for the sake of college; this is a government university that is the top-ranked in Telangana. But after joining this course, I found it pretty interesting, and I have become enthusiastic to learn more and more about it. This course has real applications in our lives, and you will also get to know its importance and the need to learn civil engineering. I wish the hostel facilities should be improved a lot since many students, especially girls, are facing problems due to improper washrooms, rooms, etc. The canteen should also include various kinds of food items, as people from North and North Eastern states are also studying here. Apart from these, every aspect of the college is really good. Events and festivals are also conducted twice a year, such as model exhibitions, flash mobs, and many more. Sports are also a must at our college, as we have a huge field and an indoor stadium with all indoor games, a swimming pool, and a gym. As our campus is quite large, many people are present, and places like the canteen are always crowded, but it's not much of a problem unless you have a lot of friends. Scholarships are also offered to students based on merit and to those below the poverty line.

Our college is good in all aspects.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide good placements. Almost all students are going to software companies. This course provides placement opportunities. Top recruiting companies are L&T, etc. Students who score an 8 CGPA are eligible for placements. They provide software job opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides us with all facilities. Our classrooms are good. Labs are well-equipped. Our college has seminar halls. The library is available for civil students. Wi-Fi facility is not available in our college.
Faculty: Our department has a team of qualified and experienced teachers. Most of them are professors. Some are assistants, although they may lack experience. Exams are conducted after every four months. The syllabus is completed before exams. Exams are quite challenging, as they are prepared by the NIT. The pass percentage is 60%.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. Some areas could be improved. The campus hosts various events throughout the year, including an annual tech fest. Our college offers full fee reimbursement for students who rank below 10,000 and a scholarship of Rs.35,000 per year for those who qualify through the EAMCET exam. Students from backward castes are eligible for full fee reimbursement. Our college is very good with a good environment. Libraries are available in our college.
