I am satisfied with college but can be improved.

Placements: Almost 95% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 3.6 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 6 LPA. Google, Microsoft, etc., are the top recruiting companies. Top roles, like data scientists, competitive coder, software analyst, software developer, etc., were offered to students.

If you want to know more about KGEC, just read it.

Placements: Minimum 70-80 % students were placed in my course. They offered software developer course, trainee course and so many. The highest package was 8 Lacs and the lowest was 3.3 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies were tata consultancy services, cognizant, wipro and infosys.

College fees is quite inexpensive, satisfactory placements, course curriculum needs to be updated.

Placements: Almost 80% of our students GOT placed. TCS is the mass recruiter of our college and always recruits most of the students. Companies like Wipro, Cognizant, Erricson, Kreeti Technologies also visit our college and recruit the deserving candidates. Core companies like GoSpeedyGo, Sankalp Semiconductors mainly recruit Electronics students. But, every year the number of placed students are decreasing.

No 1 Government College in Bengal.

Placements: The placement statistics are fairly well here. TCS is the mass recruiter, taking an average of 100 students every year. Few of the students GOT placed in huge companies like Google, Microsoft with a package of more than 30 LPA. Infosys also take an average of 10 students every year. Few core companies also come here like Kreeti, Sankalp, Veda IIT. This year new companies like Gospeedygo came for recruitment.

Although the college is satisfactory enough, the course curriculum needs to be revised.

Placements: Our college placements are fair enough. TCS is our major recruiter, recruiting somewhere around 100 students every academic year. While on one hand, the number of students getting placed at TCS is dropping with every year, on the other hand new companies like GoSpeedyGo have started coming to our campus for recruitment. Other companies like Wipro, Ericsson, Kreeti Technologies too take part in our recruitment process.

The college is worth for money and has good facilities.

Placements: Most of the students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Kreeti, Microsoft, etc., visited the campus. A large number of students got an internship from my course to various top-notch companies.

Good college for pursuing degree.

Placements: Placement is good for CSE, IT and ECE departments as IT companies like TCS, Infosys, Tech mahindra etc. Visit our campus for placement every year, one of the student from ECE department got placed in "Google" with package of around 12 LPA, yes it is the highest package ever in our college, before this, the highest package was 9 LPA that was offered by HUL to 4 students of mechanical and electrical. Now when we talk about placement scenario of Mechanical and Electrical then it is really very bad,...

KGEC is the best government college in West Bengal.

Placements: Placements completely depend upon your capability and how you prepare yourself for your interview day. This college will only invite TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys and other small IT companies for placements, and the job profile offered is of project engineering. Few other core companies come for campus recruitment, but they hire very few students with low salary packages and a long list of terms and conditions. If you really want something good in life, the only thing to do is to believe in you...

Kalyani Government Engineering College is very good.

Placements: Placements in college are good for information technology, computer science and ECE branches. Software companies like TCS, CTS, Ericsson, Hindustan Unilever, Oracle, BOC, Foster Wheeler, etc., visit the college to provide placements. The training and placement cell gives us vocational training at renowned industries.

This college is decent, and it is a government engineering college.

Placements: About 70% of the students got selected in different companies. TCS took the main part. Other companies like Wipro, IBM, MN Dastur, Kreeti, Tech Mahendra, DDT, etc., visit the college. The highest salary is about 4.9 LPA. The placement cell performance is very average.

A college of dreams. Come here to pursue your career with fun.

Placements: Placements were basically in software companies like TCS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, ORACLE and VEDA IIT. Some core companies like Bengal Beverages, MN DASTUR and Godrej took few students too. Nearly 70% students were placed last year and this year that increased to 80%.

Good placements and very helpful HODs.

Placements: We are one of the leading technical institutes in eastern India. More or less, 10-15 companies visit our college in every academic session. The average salary is 3.36-6 LPA, but in this session, four students from our college secured a job in Hindustan Unilever Pvt. Ltd. The salary is around 9.00 LPA. Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro are the major recruiters.

Our life at Kalyani Government Engineering College.

Placements: The placements majorly go for the favour in CSE and IT. The training and placement officer is not good. The students purely rely on their capabilities, whether they are in the hostel union or not. The one thing for sure is that every year TCS will come and recruit about 100-200 students. Now either you can be ambitious enough not to waste the skills to land a job in TCS, or you can go along with the crowd. I was an ECE graduate, and I am now working for Dell. Other major recruiters you will see...

Somewhat satisfied as there can be much improvement in teaching as well as campusing.

Placements: Placements at our college are fair. TCS is the mass recruiter, and on an average, it recruits up to 130 students every year. Other than that, Wipro, Kreeti Technology, DDT, M. N. Dastur and Ericsson also visit our campus. But with the market downgrading, campusing has been affected in the recent years. We have TNP cell for placements, and KGEC E-CELL also takes good care of entrepreneurship.

There salary ranges from 3.25 lakhs to 9 lakhs per annum. MN Dostu offered 4.5 lakhs per annum.

The chronicle of Kalyani Goverment Engineering College.

Placements: The field of CSE is booming with jobs right now. The more students interested in the field and have a great prospect, the more are the chances of having a great job. Companies like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant and tech giants offer placements with packages of around 5-6 lakh PA on average. Well as they say, better the attitude during placements, more are the chances.

Although having so many drawbacks, the college has an ambience of enthusiasm and inspiration.

Placements: When we were in our first year, there were 100% placements for the batch 2012-2016. The very next year, the placement dropped to 50% and there was a huge scarcity of employment to good companies. Last year, the companies that used to hire the maximum amount of students from mainly technical streams, did not hire much due to employment deficiency since they filled their seats from private colleges in more numbers.

Placements: In our final year, a lot of big companies came to our college for placement like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Kriti etc. Almost 80% of the students got placed in various companies. The highest salary offered is 8 lakhs/annum, the lowest salary is 3 lakhs/annum and an average of 5 lakhs/annum. They mostly offered assistant engineers post and some management post too. Almost 40% of the students got an internship from our college. The stipend includes full and half exemption of tuition fees. ...
