It is one of the top 10 colleges in West Bengal.

Placements: Now, 20% of the students from the CSE department got placed. I hope more companies will visit along the year, and every student who wants to get a job will get soon. The highest salary package of 7 LPA, which is offered by TCS Digital, and the average salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. Roles offered are assistant system engineer and programme analyst. About 30% of the students got internships in TCS, Infosys, etc.

It is a good college with well-equipped facilities.

Placements: Placements in our college are good, but mainly TCS hires many students. The campus placement also has very good results. Students from this college are working in Microsoft and Google as interns. Now, they are recruited as a software developer in these companies.

Review of KGEC - Kalyani Government Engineering College.

Placements: Placements in our college are not good. TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, IBM, etc., are the top recruiting companies. Some reputed companies like MN Dastur, Oracle also visit our campus for placements. For core, placements are quite bad. However, some companies like Hindustan Unilever, DDT, Sankalp, etc., recruit students. You have to work hard and depend mostly on yourself.

Infrastructure and faculty are very good. The only drawback is students do not get much exposure.

Placements: Most of the students got placed. Remaining students get the job through off-campusing, and others do M.tech in several IITs and NITs. Salary package offered varies from 3 LPA to 9 LPA. Students get internships at Siemens, Microsoft, Google, Flipkart and other companies. However, it depends upon the calibre of the student.

I got a great campus life. The college and environment promote education in the best possible way.

Placements: TCS is the major recruiter. Placements are quite good for CSE, ECE and IT department. This year, the average salary package offered for ECE students was around 5 LPA. Almost 80% of the students got placed. However, due to the rich coding culture if college developed by keygen coders club and developers club and several other factors, the off-campus placements get better. For ECE students, the highest salary package offered was 41 LPA, and Google offered it. For CSE students, salary package offer...

It is a good college to deal with.

Placements: Placements are very good. More than 75% of students are placed from our college. Many students are receiving a salary package of above 8 LPA. More than 5 companies visit college regularly and give good placement. Overall it has good placement records every year. But if you are capable enough, then you will get placed.

KGEC is the best place to learn and grow.

Placements: Placement opportunities offered in 2018 have been encouraging enough. Placements of any student do not solely lie with the college; it is also a responsibility of students to be active enough to learn and develop their skills throughout the course. Almost 88 students were placed in TCS, and almost 13 students got placed in Infosys. These two companies were our major recruiters. Companies like Capgemini, Hexaware, and Kreeti Industry hired a few students. In 2019, one student got placed in Google...

Overall, a decent college.

Placements: Placements in the college are quite decent. If you are in a core department like mechanical and electrical, you will not get many opportunities. But for other departments, you will surely get some opportunities to get placed in a decent company. But you have to choose wisely.

Our college is a symbol of love.

Placements: There are average placements in the college, but our placement cell is trying to improve the placements to be better than the previous years. We need good companies that want good engineers. IT sector companies are our main recruiters, and we need many companies from manufacturing sectors. Our government, college authorities and alumni help us in placements.

The college provides good placements, and the campus atmosphere is good.

Placements: The college provides good placements. Maximum placements are provided in TCS and other companies. The minimum of 65% of the students got selected in TCS, this year. The average salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month to Rs. 30,000 per month. TCS offers the roles of a programmer for newcomers. I think it's useful for poor students.

Very satisfied with B.Tech. Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from KGEC.

Placements: Placement record in KGEC is overall good for Computer Science and IT domain. MNCs like TCS, Capgemini, Ericsson, Tech Mahindra, M N Dastoor etc. Visit the campus to provide job offers to B.Tech. And M.Tech graduates. Other than these on-campus activities, students get invitation from different off-campus or pool-campus drives as well.

KGEC- A developing engineering college.

Placements: The placements in our college are neither good nor bad, but not up to the mark. Irrespective of the branch, you are going to land up in an IT sector most probably. This year, the scenario has changed a bit. People from ME are getting placements in HUL with a package of 9 LPA.

The review of Kalyani Government Engineering College, WB.

Placements: The placements are good for ECE, IT, and CSE students in software giants like TCS, Capgemini, etc. But the placement is not that good in core companies for EE and ME students. The placement stands nearly at 90% for ECE, CSE, and IT departments, but it falls less than 20% for EE and ME departments.
