Made a right decision in my college selection and still happy in case of all factors.
Placements: No one can't predict how many students will be selected for placements but those who had performed well in interviews and entrance will be provided with placement and good package. The salary package range from 1 Lacs to 10 Lacs per annum. Some of the companies are Deloitte, Tata Consultancy Services, etc. In case of Zoology students the placement rates are very low compared to other department.
Infrastructure: The department provides well maintained laboratory facility one for dissection and mounting and another one for titration, Museum, Projector in each classroom, Smart room, Wi-Fi, Library, Added separate chair, etc. We have a medical clinic within the campus so in case of urgency the doctor provided will be assisting the situation.
Faculty: All the non teaching staffs had completed their Ph.D. in different subjects. And also the non teaching staffs are also very helpful and friendly. Our syllabus was updated last year and many students had said that the syllabus is more relevant for competitive exam.
Other: The answers for why did I choose this course is that I like Zoology. Also I would like to be a college professor, that's my ambition. Upon me Loyola hasn't motivated me. I believe that I had choose the right one. The only thing I wish to improve in my department is the number of placements for Zoology students, because for us the placements is really low while compared to others. So I wish it'll be better if it is developed.

    Review of Loyola College.
Placements: In our college, almost 50% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 1 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 0.4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like American companies visited our campus. Almost 89% of students got internships. This course had an emphasis on animals.
Infrastructure: Our college had many facilities. Medical facilities were available. The library was satisfactory. Practical labs, computer labs, and classrooms were good. The hostel facilities were available. Our medical products had all the facilities like in American countries.
Faculty: Our teachers were excellent and friendly. They were helpful. The course curriculum made students industry-ready. The semester exams were easy. The pass percentage was 95%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Studying about animals was the best part of this course.

Campus life here is the best.
Placements: I completed my studies from Loyola college, Chennai, in the department of Advance Zoology and Biotechnology. My class consists of almost 40 people from almost all the parts of India. We have to do a mandatory internship. The placements are the best in our college with many top companies like IBM and Accenture hiring.
Infrastructure: My college has all the facilities including Wi-Fi and smart classrooms. The faculty members have a friendly behaviour. The college has the best library which includes books of all kind. The hostel has many blocks everyone can be accommodated in it. They are always safe and secured. We have 3 main gates in the college. For women students, they have a special hostel building and a common room.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful with studies, research and assignments. We have two internal exams in each semester and one main exam. We don't have any model exams. The semesters exams are a little tough, we have to cope up with them. If you study regularly and make notes in the class, then it will be much easier for you to get a good score in the examinations.
Other: We have the best culturals called ‘ovations’ organized which has many events. We make many connections and get recognition by attending the events. We have many college festivals which are fun filled. Of course the college culturals are one of the best things in the college life here.
