It is one of the best colleges in surroundings.
Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in our department. Our college provides placement training for students. The highest salary package offered is 37 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google and Microsoft. Almost 70% of students got internships in Visa. All roles are offered related to our field.
Infrastructure: Our college provides the necessary facilities like classrooms, laboratories, and a library. All are of good quality. The quality of the food is good and healthy for all students. For medical emergencies, we have MIT health center and ambulance service. Our college supports sports.
Faculty: Our faculty members are well-experienced. They handle us in a good way. Exams depend on each semester and each paper. They are a bit difficult. The course is relevant for us to learn a lot including core subjects and electives. We can handle exams if we are trained in the best way.
Other: I opted for this course because it is one of the best courses and has a great scope. I can explore a lot in this course. Our teachers should improve their teaching.

It is a good college to study.
Placements: Around 80% of students got placed in our course. The lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA and the highest salary package was 5 LPA. Some top recruiting companies were Reliance and Tata. Around 65% of students got placed in top MNCs. Top roles were offered in our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was the best with high-speed Wi-Fi. Classrooms were very large and clean. They had projectors and central air-conditioners. Library had all types of books related to every course. Hostel was very neat and clean. Food served in the hostel was delicious and all kinds of food items were available in the canteen.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful and kind. They cleared all the doubts of the students without any delay. The course curriculum was relevant and made students industry ready. Semester exams are easy if students study well.
Other: I chose this course as it was my dream course since my childhood. The best thing about our course is it provides knowledge of advanced technology and helps with jobs. Our course should be improved more. It organises many events like the new year, annual function, teachers' day, students' day, farewell, etc.

This college didn't meet my expectations.
Placements: Placements are certainly above average than any other government engineering college in Tamil Nadu. Placements will be held commonly for CEG and MIT students. Top companies like Amazon stopped visiting the campus since 2021. The average salary package offered in the whole college is around 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: I'm personally disappointed with the hostel infrastructure. The 2nd and 3rd-year boys have to stay in MIT annexure which is 1 km away from the campus. The most annoying thing is we need to go annexure for lunch and comeback to college within 1 hour to attend the afternoon periods. Classrooms and laboratories are average.
Faculty: Teaching is not up to the mark in our college. There is general speculation that government college faculty members won't work hard to make the students learn. That's totally true. I have been taught by professors who have doctorates but I literally felt they aren't upto the mark. There are some exceptions but only very few.
Other: If you wish to take CSE at MIT, I will suggest you take IT at CEG or MIT which is good and with updated curriculum.

It is a highly reputed institution with good infrastructure, having good placements.
Placements: Nowadays, IT companies are recruiting more freshers in the computer science stream. Our college provides good placements. For a year more than 250 companies are visiting our university. Moreover, in the 2022 batch, everyone gets placed in our department. This year is also going to be like that.
Infrastructure: Our department has its computer laboratories with unlimited network access through LAN. Wi-Fi is available which is useful for students to browse the internet. The hostel is good. It provides good food at a reasonable cost with a water supply and other facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are well experienced with a lot of subjects and practical knowledge to train the students. There are more friendly with the students. The semester exams are tough as compared to other engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. The pass percentage is around 70%.

Absolute and a good to go college in terms of standard and placements.
Placements: I'm a student of batch 2019-2023 studying B.E Computer Science and engineering and nearly 90% students got placed this year (2022). Companies like Chronus, Visa pay a huge payscale and the packages start from 6 Lacs and goes upto 25 Lacs and the average package is 7.5 Lacs. Internship percentage is quite low.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure inside the department is very good and the Wi-Fi inside the department is too good and the libraries and classrooms are also well maintained and the same applicable for hostel rooms and food also. Medical facilities are also good as a 24/7 clinic is inside the hostel campus.
Faculty: To be honest it is upto you to develop your core knowledge because the course curriculum won't be sufficient enough to get you industry ready. The semester exams are a bit difficult and the pass percentage is 50%. Course curriculum is pretty good when compared to other private colleges.
