Really good infrastructure and facilities but not known to the outside world.
Placements: Nearly 90 percent of the students in my course got placed in the 7th semester itself with 60% of them getting pre placement orders from companies where they had gone for internships. The highest package offered was INR 40 Lacs per annum and the lowest was INR 14 Lacs per annum. Average package offered in my course is INR 25 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies includes Adobe, Bank of America and other very big companies. Many students were placed through internships at Adobe and other companies.
Infrastructure: We are provided with Wi-Fi which can be accessed from both our hostels and Wi-Fi huts in the campus. However, Wi-Fi connection has been restricted to first year students alone in their hostels. We have a big library with many books but many students prefer the e-books provided by the library. Labs are equipped with high-tech equipment especially the computer labs having i7 PCs for the students to work with. The facilities provided in the hostel are good and the quality of food is very good as we have an entire food committee working behind the food making process. We have a clinic for medical emergencies and also the NSO club of our college takes all the necessary measures to make sports and games interesting and get the participation of nearly all the students.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and are always busy with academics as well as FDP programs. Even though the course curriculum is of the year 2019 but it is still highly relevant to the world today. The curriculum makes it easy for the students to shine in their respective fields. Semester exams are really helpful with a moderate difficulty making the students to think and answer and helps in developing various skills of the students.
Other: I chose this course because I am highly interested in technology. The best thing about the course is that we are among one of the oldest departments and right now holding the position of the highest annual income. MIT is majorly known for its Sivaranjini and MITAFEST but these fests have been stopped for the past 2 years due to COVID regulations. This year we hope to witness these events that make the college more bright. The campus is full of green trees. The campus is placed in a very good area making it easy for the students to explore Chennai. Also the campus is small with just a road and departments on both sides. Nearly all the students here benefit from scholarships provided by the alumni of the college and also other government scholarships. Connectivity: The college is very nearby to the Chrompet railway station and electric trains are available to reach Guindy and other parts of the city. The campus crowd comprises the best of the best from all parts of Tamil Nadu.

95 percent of the students are placed in the campus interview.
Placements: 95 percent of the students are placed in the campus interview. With the minimum package of 5 Lacs per annum and maximum of 25 Lacs. The major recruiting companies are MBIT wireless, exl, cpcl, Accenture, CTS. The college senior offers guidelines to most of the juniors for placements and further Studies.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms are well furnished with power supply and air circulation. Laboratories of electronics and instrumentation are good functioning with high precision instrumentation and Wi-Fi network connection. All the instruments are calibrated frequently to avoid errors. Hostel atmosphere is calm and energetic, giving a feel of being in home.
Faculty: All the teachings and professors have completed their doctorate, with an experience of minimum fifteen years. They have good knowledge in their fields. Doubts are cleared instantly. All the queries are resolved immediately. Syllabus is reframed every year to be in the current trends and development of technology. All the activities are done to improve the performance of students.

It is an average college for the fees we are paying.
Placements: About 90% of students will get placed. The highest salary package offered is 34 LPA and the minimum is 5 LPA. Top recruiters are PayPal, Visa, Amazon, and Morgan Stanley. The top role offered in the previous year was data scientist. The top role offered this year is web development. Most students here are placed only by self-study. The college won't help you in any way to get placed.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not good. We can't use it most of the time, but we need to pay for it. Labs are good. Classrooms are fine. The library is also good. Hostel facilities are not good. Bathrooms and toilets aren't clean. They pretend to work on them. The food is below average. Medical facilities are available, but they don't look after you properly. Sports facilities are available for boys. They do have a gym for both boys and girls.
Faculty: The teaching quality is not good except for one or two staff. The curriculum is fine. The pass percentage is 98%. Semester exams are easy to handle. They never satisfy and only give low grades even though you put in lots of effort. They don't prepare you for exams. They teach everything a week before the exams. The teaching here is not good.
Other: They used to conduct lots of events before. Nowadays, they are cancelling everything.

As per your marks, it is not possible to get admission here. You should try for other private colleges where you will easily get admission. There are a lot of private colleges which are providing better facilities in placements, infrastructure, education, etc.

Hello Mahavir, The admission is not based on the overall score, whereas, it is based on the cut-off marks out of 200 in PCM. Your cut-off needs to be at least 195 and above so that you can get B.Tech IT at MIT-Chennai.
