Satisfied by the college but not really amazed. In 2024

Placements: This year at our college, Maharaja Surajmal Instiute of Technology in Information Technology Department 167 offers were placed for 158 heads. According to my analysis this is a decent placement. It could be a bit vetter but personally I am not dissapointed. Top companies include Zomato, Amazon, ION

MSIT review Why should you have to take this collage, is this worth it or not.

Placements: In our collage 90% student will be placed. Lowest package is 3 LPA and highest is approximately 28 LPA. So many company come for recruitment. Due to recession, our college is suffering from some time but you can take one change. If you learn DSA then you can able to take good packages so go ahead.

I am not satisfied with this college; a lot needs to be upgraded.

Placements: There are not such great placements here; only about half of the crowd is placed, where half of the placed people get below 6 LPA, and the stats carry on with packages above 30 LPA as rare. There are no hopes for the EEE branch and ECE, but there are little hopes from IT and CSE.

Less fees and decent placement.

Placements: Around 90 percent of the students were placed in 2020-2024 batch. Placements were decent in time of global recession. Highest package was around 52 LPA and lowest was 3.5 LPA. Average would be around 5-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies were TCS and HCL. Mostly CSE and ECE branches were preferred for software developer role. Many students got internships also but data is not disclosed.

Good Faculty with a decent infrastructure and decent placements

Placements: The placement I've seen here is decent. The main thing your placement is depended upon is you. If you want to ,there's nothing impossible because there are students who've cracked placements above 1 crore .You have to be a multitasker cause college doesn't teach you but it can help you with your placements.

Poor infrastructure but decent placements.

Placements: Around 50–60% of people get placed in good or decent companies every year. The highest off-campus placement was 1.7 CR per annum, and the lowest is around 2-3 LPA. Students get placed in different IT companies. However, the placements have been hampered recently due to the reception, and the average on-campus placement is now around 4-5 LPA only.

It's in the top 5 in Delhi, with pretty good placements.

Placements: Taking the current scenario into account, placements have degraded compared to previous years, maybe due to the recession. I can’t say anything about my passing year (2027) as it may improve or degrade. Data available to us suggests that the highest package was 70 LPA, the lowest was 4 LPA, and the average was between 8-10 LPA. Top companies in our college are Microsoft, Zomato, Zebronics, and Ion. I am yet to reach my third and fourth years, during which most internships happen, so I can’t comm...

Good location, below-average placements, very bad infrastructure.

Placements: The highest package was around 50 LPA, but it was off-campus. The average package ranged around 7-8 LPA, with the median being 6 LPA in the year 2023-2024. Many mass recruitment companies visit, but very few students got internships directly from the college. Most internships have to be secured on our own or through societies.

Really good faculty and surroundings but average infrastructure.

Placements: What we got to know from our placement coordinators is that companies are coming this year. Last year, students got placements in big companies, but only 1-2 students were placed in each company, while the rest were taken by mass recruiters. This year, companies are coming for placements, as per the staff.

Good college only if you don't get DTU/NSUT/IIIT-D.

Placements: The 2024 placement scenario for ECE students at Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology was markedly less promising than in previous years. Despite the continued presence of top recruiters like ZS and ION, the overall placement rate experienced a substantial decline. The average salary package offered to ECE graduates on campus was relatively modest at 4-5 LPA, and only 70-80% of companies extended job offers to students from the ECE department. This downturn can be attributed to several facto...

Placements: 50% to 60% of students get placed, with the highest package around 12-13 LPA and the lowest around 3 LPA. Some top recruiting companies include ZS, Accenture, and Ion. I’m not sure about internships offered by the course. The top roles offered in my course are Software Development Engineer and Sales.
