Best college in Rajasthan.
Placements: In 2022, the placement rate was 100 percent in Chemical Engineering. In 2023, due to the recession, it was slightly less, at 90 percent. The highest salary offered was 64 LPA, and the lowest was 7 LPA. It was all good, and students were placed in companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Microsoft.
Infrastructure: The course is good, and there is so much to learn. Many things are unexplored in this course, making it suitable for new findings. The mess food is also nice, and ample facilities are provided within the college. You name it, and it is present here.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified and hold PhDs in their respective fields. Although they have a lot of knowledge, there are only a few whose lecture delivery is not understandable for everyone. However, they are all very nice and generous. The curriculum makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy to moderate, not too tough.
Other: I chose this course because it was the best among my choices and near my house. I joined the college for its good alumni network, placements, and campus life. If I could change something, I would make the course more practical-based rather than theory-based. The events, campus crowd, connectivity, surroundings, and extracurricular activities are all up to the mark here.

MNIT Jaipur is a good college and I am very satisfied with my college.
Placements: In 2023, the percentage of students placed in electrical engineering was 90%. Out of 103 students, 93 students get placed with an average package of 14 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 62 LPA. In 2024, the highest salary package offered is 47 LPA. The average salary package offered is 9.94 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The department building is very old but renovated. Wi-Fi is very strong. Labs are very good. Classrooms are generally taken in VLTC, which is very big and beautiful. The hostel is very old, but it's already renovated. Some hostels are newly built, so the infrastructure is excellent.
Faculty: Professors are very helpful and qualified. Around 75% of attendance is compulsory. If students don't have 75% of attendance, it's not a big issue. Almost every professor provides students with some assignments to compensate for attendance. Mid-term exams are not difficult but end-term is quite difficult.

Review of Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur.
Placements: Placements are decent. The average salary package offered is 13.5 LPA. The overall placement ratio for UG and PG is around 80% and 67%, respectively. The highest salary package offered in 2023 was 64 LPA for UG and 48 LPA for PG. Internship opportunities are not that good.
Infrastructure: A Bed table, chair, and an almirah are provided in rooms. In the first year, there are triple-sharing rooms, and from the second year onwards, students get single rooms. We have to register for hostels online on college erp. Mess food is decent. There are two canteens central and night canteen.
Faculty: The semester is approximately 4 months long. There is a 2-month gap between mid-semester exams and end-semester exams. The course curriculum is good. Teaching quality is average. Semester exams are not that difficult. Most students pass exams. Pass percentage is 95%.

MNIT Jaipur: A second home.
Placements: Around 80 percent students were placed in my course. The highest package is 32 Lacs, the lowest is 7 Lacs, and the average package is 10.7 Lacs offered. Top recruiting companies are Jindal Steel, JP Morgan, Reliance Industries, etc. 65 percent students from my course got internships in Reliance Industries, Jindal Steel, JP Morgan, etc. Top roles offered are Executive Manager, Chief Instructor, etc.
Infrastructure: There are various labs provided for my course. Each lab has its own significance. Each lab is well-maintained and provided with Wi-Fi and LAN facilities. Classrooms are very big and well-furnished. There are two projector boards and one big blackboard. Around 150 students can sit there. The library is also very good, and around 1 lakh books from various fields are available there. The facilities provided in my hostel are very good. We get a single room, and each room has LAN connectivity. The quality of food is not so good in the hostel, but in the canteen, all types of vegetarian food are available. There is a primary dispensary for medical emergencies. There is one cricket ground and one football ground. Three basketball courts and three tennis courts are available. For indoor games, a sports complex is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified from big universities. The teaching quality is very nice. This course curriculum is relevant to students and makes them ready for industries. The difficulty of semester exams is moderate. The pass percentage is around 96 percent.

Comprehensive learning environment with excellent.
Placements: I am from the metallurgical and materials engineering department. In the year 2023, the percentage of students placed is 76.04%. The highest package is 40 Lacs, the median package is 9 Lacs, and the average package is 10.18 Lacs per year.
Infrastructure: The campus has LAN facilities in the required places where you can study. The campus provides wireless Wi-Fi in particular places. We have the best labs with great teaching faculty. Classes are common for all department students in a single place.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. Most of them have done their Ph.D. in IITs and other boards. The teaching is also good. If you have any doubts, you can meet them personally regarding your academic life or personal support. Semester exams are really tough compared to other colleges.
Other: The campus has only limited seats and a good fest culture. The government will provide scholarships.

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2028

4Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Good and modern infrastructure of few hostels and academic blocks.
Placements: The placements here at Mnit Jaipur are quite good. Almost 85% of the students having a B.Tech. degree are placed. The placements for B.Arch are about 75%. Top companies like Amazon, Meta, Adobe, Adverb, and some fintech companies also recruit students from Mnit Jaipur. The average package is about 18 LPA for the CSE branch, and the highest package overall is about 64 LPA, coming from the ECE branch. The internship status is good because of the strong alumni network. Some students also get a PPO [pre-placement offer].
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of hostels is quite old, and the mess is below average. There are 11 boys hostels and 3 girls hostels; a few newly constructed hostels have a good infrastructure. Washing machines are only installed at girls hostels, and laundry services are available in all the hostels. Every hostel has a free LAN and Wi-Fi service. The central library has good infrastructure and has all the necessary books and journals available. The institute has a medical dispensary available for students 24*7. The sports culture at MNIT is quite decent, with almost all sports being played.
Faculty: The curriculum is quite old, the faculty is not that good, and mostly students have to rely on external sources for studies. They have a strict rule of 75% attendance. The semester exams are moderately difficult, and they are manageable by most. Exams are timely held.
Other: though it is one of the most difficult courses here at Mnit Jaipur. The best thing about the electrical department is that it has a smaller number of tutorials and labs as compared to other branches. The institute has 2 fests, a cultural fest named Blitzschlag and a technical fest named Sphinx. The campus crowd is decent, and the campus is centrally located in Jaipur, which gives it an extra edge over the other NITs.

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.Arch Courses at MNIT Jaipur

Based on the reviews and feedback provided by students and alumni, here's a summary of the effectiveness of the placement cell for B.Arch courses at MNIT Jaipur:

* Zero Placements: Unfortunately, according to several students, the placement rate for B.Arch students is zero.
* Practice-Based Course: One reason cited for this lack of placements is that B.Arch is a practice-based course, which means students typically work under other architects rather than being recruited directly by companies.

In conclusion, while the placement cell may be effective for other courses such as B.Tech, its performance appears to be limited for B.Arch students due to the nature of their program.
