College with good infrastructure and faculty members, but events and campus life are dull.
Placements: More than 30% of EEE students were placed last year. For EEE department, the highest salary package offered was around 30 LPA, and the medium salary package offered was 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. Top companies recruiting are IBM, TCS, Cognizant, SOTI, and Tata.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are up to the mark. EEE lab has all instruments and machines required for students. Hostel rooms are pretty basic and the food from mess is good for hostel standards. Sports facilities here are really great with football grounds, cricket grounds, swimming pool, basketball courts, etc. Campus is neat and clean with good infrastrcuture and large number of clubs.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is pretty good for a government college. The new autonomous syllabus of MACE is very career-oriented and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are pretty hard, to score good marks is a big thing.
Other: I chose this course because of my entrance rank. The best thing about EEE is that it is a little flexible and we can work in the electrical field or even switch to the IT field. MACE is a very career-oriented college, events and programs are very scarce, and the campus life is bad. If one is looking for vibes in college I suggest looking somewhere else.

MACE review - better future with average fun.
Placements: Excellent on-campus training and placement. Placement drives begin at the start of the seventh semester. There are various companies with different eligibility criteria, like SOTI, Kalkitech, Keyvalue, Tech Mahindra, Tata Elxsi, and TCS. Students get placed depending on their branch. Placements are best for branches like CS, EC, MECH, and CIVIL.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is just satisfactory. The food provided is somewhat good. There are both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. There are no attached toilets in any of the rooms. It is a little difficult to get admission to the college hostel.
Faculty: There is one faculty advisor for each class of 60 students. In my class, there are 60 students and another 6 who came through lateral entry. The teachers are approachable. The college provides a good learning environment. The teachers are a little strict. The teachers' approach is not that good. They react to students based on their mood, and how can teachers do this kind of thing to students? Whenever we try to ask permission for something, they refuse without even reading or listening to our request. But their style of teaching and providing notes is good. Their approach toward special classes.

A review of Mar Athanasius College of Engineering.
Placements: My batch is good, but there has been a gradual decrease in placements since I joined this college. Top recruiting companies like Bosch, Ascender, etc. offer at least 5-8 LPA based on the student's skills. However, I must say that the placements are just okay.
Infrastructure: The quality is just okay for the hostel and faculty members. There are other colleges that provide better infrastructure and hostel facilities. However, the faculty members are highly talented. In these circumstances, I would not recommend anyone join this college. Nevertheless, the college is one of the best colleges in Kerala.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and talented, having graduated from top colleges like IITs and NITs. They also teach the curriculum relevantly and make the students industry-ready. The semester exams are good, and the pass percentage is also satisfactory.

An honest review of the top engineering college in Kerala.
Placements: I'm an electrical and electronics branch student. Most of the students from our branch got placed in the recent years. The highest salary package offered was 20 LPA and an average salary of 5 LPA was offered. Many companies like Bosch and Apollo visit for recruitments. Companies provide internships and select students directly from there.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities in our college. Students can use the Wi-Fi anywhere in the college. Well-equipped labs, central library with lot of books, journals, reading books and other study materials are available in the college. Besides that, each department has their own departmental libraries.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and helpful. Most of them have done their Ph.D. from top IITs and NITs. Course curriculum is decided by Kerala Technical University. There will be two internal examinations within a semester exam along with an internal assessment and marks distribution.
Other: There are many labs and workshops available for electrical and electronics branch. There are mainly two events organized here; a technical event named Takshak and a cultural event named Sanskriti. Campus surroundings are very neat and clean. There are many scholarships available for eligible students.

Review of Mar Athanasius College of Engineering.
Placements: 30% of the students will always get placements. The highest package is 20 lacs, the average package is 5 lacs and the lowest package is 2 lacs. The companies are TCS, Bosch, and Wipro. 20% of students get internships. Bosch and TCS are the most wanted companies for electrical and electronics .
Infrastructure: The classes are high teach and every class has a projector and, the infrastructure of the college is very nice. There is a central library which provides lots of books and knowledge. The college canteen is very heigenic and arranged. The food in the hostel and canteen is an average one.
Faculty: All the teachers are very well educated and have high qualifications. Most of the faculty members are friendly by nature and pleasant. They always help the students when they get helpless and most of the faculty members have a helpful mind and care for each and every student.
Other: I chose this course because I like to study electrical and electronics and I want a peaceful environment like my college. The college has very peaceful and strict management so there are no issues like ragging or fighting, so we can concentrate on our studies. Some of the faculty members are very rude; they should improve themselves. There are so many events like takshak, sanskrthi, and scholarships.
