The amazing faculty members and nice placement.
Placements: 88 percent of students were placed in my course. The highest package was INR 20 Lacs per annum, the average package was INR 5 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package was INR 2.5 Lacs per annum. The various reputed IT companies like TCS, Mahindra Tech, Wipro, Infosys, and IBM are where our college students do internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very nice because we have big AC classrooms, a high-speed Wi-Fi network on every floor of the college, labs, and a library where we get books related to our course. The hostel faculty members at our college are very good. We have a big playground and a nice canteen where delicious, high-quality food is available.
Faculty: The exam system of our college is very nice; the question paper is not very hard or easy. The question paper quality is standard. Our college pays extra attention to hiring teachers who are faculty members. As a result, we have highly qualified teachers who are very eager to teach us and to help us. Their teaching quality is also good. 95 percent of students pass out of our college.

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2027

A small and good campus college.
Placements: In 2023, I will join this college. I am not sure how many students will be placed in 2027. But I hear that almost 90% of students have been placed in the past few years. And the highest package is around, like, 19 LPA. And the lowest is like 2.5 LPA or the average is placed in the package of approximately 5.4 LPA. The top recruiting company are TCS, Infosys, etc. There are many internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: In my department, they provided us with very good labs and a library. But Wi-Fi is on campus but not working properly. Now about hostels, hostels are good, but they provide us with a bed, a one-side almirah, and a table for study. There was a TV on one floor, but no Wi-Fi facility was available there. No game facilities are available in the hostel. And the canteen food is very bad.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers at this college are very helpful but they are not all the same. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. Some of them have a Ph.D. degree. Yes, it prepares a student for the industry level but it also requires skill development. Semester exams are, on average, not so difficult if someone teaches well. And passing percentage is good, I think so.
Other: I chose electrical engineering because in that field you get job opportunities in the private sector as well as in the government sector. Yes, a fest is held in this college like a normal student fest or a tech fest. There is no student scholarship from the college.

Our college is good with many opportunities.
Placements: Training and placement cell provide assistance in placements. Students from core branches are placed in Wipro and TCS. They help for recruitment in core companies. Some companies will interact and take the the test itself. it will be done in 2 to 3 days. They provide free training in the 3rd year.
Infrastructure: Girls hostel is fine. Food is also good but boys hostel is outside so food and rooms are cheap in quality. Mess is fine with good space but food selection is limited only packed food is good.
Faculty: Most of teachers are helpful. Their teaching is good and they will try different innovative methods to make students understand. Sometimes it becomes a burden as you will face different subject classes repeatedly during second semester.
Other: I chose this course as I have keen interest in government jobs. The first two semesters were hard with too many subjects so I would like the distribution of subjects more though the 4-year time. There is always something going on. The greatest part is students can organise them. All the fests are mostly done by students with guidance of teachers so its fun and educative.

My honest review of MCKV Institute of Engineering.
Placements: About 70–80% of students are placed through college campusing. Good places for CSE are available. But not good placement support for core disciplines like electrical, mechanical, and automobile. The majority of core and ECE students are placed in the IT field.
Infrastructure: Recently, when I visited the campus, free wi-fi facilities were activated. All the labs are well organized, with all the necessary instruments and NIT and clean. Classrooms are available with a 60–70 seat capacity; some classes have permanent projector and screen facilities and some classes have temporary. One central library is available on the semi-ground floor, where almost all the academic books are available, but the books are not up-to-date, as one personally feels.
Faculty: Faculty members are top notch and most faculty members are Ph.D. holders or pursuing Ph.D.s, except for 2-3 faculty members from each branch; others are gold. They are supportive and passionate. In 2021, our institute will receive the Best Industrial Interface Award from state Zee news agencies. When I was pursuing my degree, the college was directly affiliated with Makaut. In semester exams, the level of guard was very tight. No cheating was tolerated by the college authority.
