Students can take admission in it if there isn't any other college left.
Placements: Placements are top-notch if you are willing to work for mass recruiters. No core companies visit the campus for civil, mechanical and electrical branches. Students either have to participate in pool campus placement drives conducted in other colleges or have to apply individually on the company sites. Students of EXTC, computer and IT branches have chances of getting placed. The biomedical branch has excellent placement results. Biotech and chemical students have to try their luck outside too. The salary package offered ranges from 2.5-4.5 LPA. Students have to find internships on their own. The college organises an abundance of workshops and seminars. But, no internship programs are conducted here. Internships, which you plan, will get approved by the college. The placement cell in our college helps the students at its most to bring companies to the campus. The problem lies at the student level if they fail to secure jobs. Overall, for computer, IT, EXTC and biomedical branches, the placements better than other branches like mechanical, chemical, civil, electrical and biotechnology branches.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in college (Jiospot), basically useful only for Jio customers. Labs are satisfactory, but most of the PCs contain the virus in it. So, beware of it before using your flash drives. Lab assistants are helpful for the students of all the branches. Components, equipment and software are outdated. They are not too old, but also not up to date. Classrooms are being renovated, but they lack proper ventilation and lighting system. The library has almost 80% of the books you need. There might always be a lack of books of at least one subject every semester. Overall, the book issuing facility is good. Librarians lack working skills, though the chief librarian is gallant. Reading hall of the library is a mess because of the students and also lack of strictness. Sports are very rarely played. The football and cricket teams have made the college proud several times. The college has good players as well as good sports conveyors. So, if you are good at sports, with a good team, you can participate in the tournaments. But, you might not be supported throughout everything. The food served in the canteen is very inferior in taste and quality. Apart from biryani and south Indian food items, everything else will be tasteless. The canteen was better two years ago, but suddenly, the variety of items offered by the canteen is reduced, and now, it is just a snacks centre. The college also provides hostel facilities for girls, and it is situated at Sampada, which is almost 20-30 minutes away from college. College buses are available for students to commute. There is no hostel facility for boys. The college might help you to get a room on a sharing basis with other students. The infrastructure of our college is good, but overall, poor lighting facilities are available in corridors and classrooms. The college also provides facilities like fire exits and alarms, 2 elevators, ease of tutorial rooms, lecture halls and labs which are plus points.
Faculty: There are many faculty members in our college. But the most satisfying thing about faculty members is, no matter how good or bad they are, they will teach. They all are supportive and helpful. Senior faculty members are very less. Moreover, all faculty members in our college are young and lack a long tenure of teaching experience. They organise at least one industrial visit every semester. The college offers courses like electrical, biomedical, chemical and IT with 60 students intake in each course. The faculty to student ratio is 1:6. Most of the faculty members follow conventional teaching methods while some of the faculty members arrange seminars, group discussions and presentations depending upon the subject and topic.
Other: The college fest is very satisfying unless you are in the organising team. Else, it is very hard to bear as the faculty members and authorities are very orthodox and supportive of everything. Do not expect much from the college fest. The campus crowd is mostly the students from Maharashtra residing in Navi Mumbai and Thane. There might be around 10-20 students travelling from Mumbai. The most important thing in this college is to have a proper and sorted group of friends, for you to have the best college life. Students are average to below average in academics. The college is 2.5 km away from Khandeshwar station. You get sharing auto at Rs.10 per head. It is around 10-15 minutes from Kharghar and Mansarovar stations where NMMT buses will charge you Rs.12. It is well connected to entire Thane, Navi Mumbai, Mumbai and Pune as it stands on Mumbai Pune Expressway start and Sion Panel Roads end. Government scholarships like EBC, freeship and caste scholarships are available.

A well-equipped Education Hub.
Placements: The placements for senior batch weren't good since it was the first electrical batch. But by the time our batch (2012-2016) reached last year, there were well known companies like Sutherland Global started visiting campus offering various IT profiles with 2L CTC. Overall 25% of students chose to get placed at campus.
Infrastructure: All inclusive campus has well designed classrooms air conditioned and equipped with projectors, IT labs with high speed internet, comfortable hostel rooms, a huge and rich library, medical facilities, hygienic food at canteen and well maintained sports ground.
Faculty: The teachers at campus are not only qualified but also knowledgeable and experienced, always ready to help with all the queries. They always use various teaching aids and tools to make learning experience interesting and long lasting. Syllabus gets covered on time with enough practice taken. Though the industry visits is something the institution can improve upon.

Mahatma Gandhi Mission's College of Engineering and technology.
Placements: Placements are very rare, but there are some companies like Mankind, L&T, etc. That are visiting the campus for the last two years for placements. But very few students get a job. This college is good for placements of all branches. It is good even for the civil branch.
Infrastructure: This college was under construction for many years. When we talk about facilities, it has six computer labs and Wi-Fi connection which is not so good. As per the strength, some classrooms are small, but there are 4-5 bigger classrooms as well. The library is good, it contains books which you can easily get issued during your exams.
Faculty: The faculty members are very nice. They are very helpful for the students who are weak. The audio-visual teaching method is provided to students for a better understanding and to gain high knowledge. Faculty are very nice very strict. But they have very much knowledge.
Other: There is not much fun in the fests. Tech fest is a total flop. The college does not give money for organising sports events. Scholarships are given for students who are good in academics as well as for those who belong to other categories.

Dissatisfied with the placements.
Placements: The first batch of the electrical department has no placement. I don't know about other departments, but I never heard about placement during my batch. They only hire people who teach us how to prepare for a job (just heard about it but I never seen). They are unable to bring the companies for placements.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good, and they are fully ventilated. In the library, more books are not available. I never heard about the medical facilities, but there is a medical college near engineering college. Don't expect about Wi-Fi facility in the college. We already have Jio network. The ground is quite big, and it is also shared for medical, dental, etc.
Faculty: The faculty members are okay. They are neither good nor bad. They are helpful at some point because they are fresher as a teacher (at the time of my batch). They are good at communication and understanding. In the end, self-study matters a lot.
Other: The campus crowd is good. There are many other colleges nearby our college.
