Good faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: IT companies like Infosys and Wipro hired a maximum percentage of students. The average salary package offered was 3.6 lacs per annum. Amazon hired a few students at 4 lacs per annum package. Other companies like Tech Mahindra offered 3 lacs per annum packages. Few students got internships from www.pricebaba.com.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are Wi-Fi enabled, and there are well-developed laboratories in every department. The library has more than 2,500 books, journals and magazines. Hostel facility is available with a gym and swimming pool. Sports like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball badminton, table tennis are available on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and friendly with students, and they are always helpful. Teaching techniques and teaching quality both are good enough and updated. The lab assistants help students to solve lab issues and complete lab experiments. The faculty to student ratio is 1:15.
Other: The campus is huge and green, and there is fresh air everywhere. NITMASians celebrate a few yearly events like freshers welcome, independence day, republic day, farewell party, international language day, foundation day, etc.

I had good memories of staying in a hostel. Faculty and placements need to be improved.
Placements: I got placed through the off-campus in Tech Mahindra. Recently, I am working in Pune. Now, the placement scenario isn't good in NITMAS. The administration is very reckless and unmindful of student's career. The core companies never visited the campus for placements. In 2015, around 150 students got placed, and in 2016, around 50 students got placed, and this year, only 10 students got placed on the campus placements. The highest salary provided was only 3 lacs per annum. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra mostly visit the campus for placements. There is no availability of internship. The placement cell in the college is unworthy. If the placements are good, then this college will touch the pinnacle of success.
Infrastructure: Well, you would never find a good college with well-cleaned hostels and greenery campus except for NITMAS. The quality of food in the canteen is average, but it is better than most of the hostel's food. The campus is secure and well-maintained. The Wi-Fi facility is provided in the hostel. Auditorium, playground, parks, saloon, cafeteria, and all you need are available in the college. Our college is really beautiful. Labs are good, not well-maintenance. Well, we never faced any issues regarding the infrastructure.
Faculty: The teachers of mechanical, computer science, and biotechnology department are very avid and learned persons. Rest of the departments lack teachers with good knowledge and the best way of teaching. We haven't got any industrial exposure. Never go for ECE department as the scope in it in India is very less.
Other: We have technical fests named Sankalp is organised by TechNiche. For two times, I organised the plays at the fresher's party. There are no cultural fests in the college. The management doesn't provide monetary aids for such extra-curricular activities.

Awesome campus, helpful faculty, and average placement.
Placements: Truly speaking, we have 2-3 zero slot MNCs recruiting around 20-40% of the scholars every year followed by other start-ups recruiting the scholars throughout the year. For sure, 50% of the students get placed in some companies every year. The internship and workshop are also provided.
Infrastructure: The college has a world-class infrastructure. The college is located on the outskirts of Kolkata at a pleasant place near Diamond Harbour. This campus covers around 40 acres of land. It is a lush green campus with all amenities like sports, entertainment, hostels, food court and many other facilities. It is a Wi-Fi enabled campus.
Faculty: The college has world-class laboratories, A/C classrooms, open auditorium and an indoor auditorium. The courses provided in B.Tech CSE, ECE, EEE, ME, BT, Marine Engineering, BNS and many new streams have come up. It has been recognised as a deemed university with WBUT course curriculum. The hostel rooms are spacious and clean. Food quality is superb here.

Good infrastructure poor placements.
Placements: The placements were not as expected. The salaries offered from Infosys was 28,000 and only very few around 21 students were selected. And the others were offered pool campusing which was not as what they were asked for. They were prepared for IT and core companies and the campusing were of BPO and call centres. And the college didn't provide with any internships as well. Also didn't even recommend any place for internships.
Infrastructure: It has free Wi-Fi throughout campus. hostel facilities, classrooms, lab and libraries are very maintained. The laboratories provide many modern equipments including a robotics lab and microwave engineering lab. The CPUs has 3 basketball fields one Cricket and one football field and a swimming pool surrounded by multipurpose hall. And sport fests are conducted within the campus where different colleges come and participate.
Faculty: Faculty members are very much qualified and entertain one to one interaction. The course is as per makaut syllabus and it has its own independent university running as well with many state of the art courses. It includes biotechnology, electronics and communication and computer Science engineering under makaut. And applied psychology hospitality management robotics under their private university.
Other: Cultural fest tech fests and sports meets. Karate classes under women safety. And many others including table tennis.

The overall view of one of the best engineering and management colleges of Kolkata.
Placements: The placements were good, and almost 95% of the batch was placed. For seniors also it was the same. All kinds of companies visited the campus, and some companies were also converted as part of off-campus placements. The package offered is also good and increases each year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the campus is huge. The campus has more than 14 hostels and 10 canteens. 5 scholastic buildings and also lush green acres of playground and park are present. Gym and swimming pool are also present for a holistic all round development of the students.
Faculty: Faculty staff belong to eminent colleges, and the course curriculum is vivid to give the students the required industry knowledge. All streams like electronics and communication, computer science, biotechnology, mechanical, information technology, etc. are the courses offered by the college.
Other: The college is located on the outskirts of Kolkata and is 20 mins drive from IIM Joka towards Diamond Harbour. It's a residential as well as day scholar college and now offers management courses as well. The college organises inter-college and intra-college events and fests.
