Placements: A total of 70% of students at Haldia Institute of Technology graduation cohort received job offers although the institution believes all students will find employment before this academic year ends. Companies have represented packages ranging from 40 LPA (off-campus) and 12 LPA (on-campus) up to 5 LPA average. The lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. Top companies are IBM, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, PwC, TCS, Wipro, etc. Internships are obtained by between 20 to 30% of students who participated in these companies. Top positions available as part of placements include associate system engineer, system engineer, ASE, and AASE.

Large campus area, absolutely good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The companies that come to our campus for recruitment are Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, IBM. Around 92% of students are placed with a better package. The average package is 5-6 LPA and the lowest package is 3-4 LPA. HIT has a dedicated training and placement cell that actively works to bridge the gap between students and recruiters.
Infrastructure: The college has satisfying facilities and infrastructure with a maintained library and classroom. In the hostel, Wi-Fi and other facilities are available, and all medical facilities are available. Sports facilities are available for both indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: All the faculty members are well-qualified. Most of the faculty members are great and supportive in nature, but some are very strict. Semester exams are moderate. A minimum of 35%-40% of marks is required to pass in the exam. I like the computer back. They should employ more skillful teachers to improve our course.
Other: Our college organizes fests, sports, and many activities. This is famous for the fest.

Good college. Placement is decent but you have to work hard to get higher placement.
Placements: About 70% of students got placement. The highest package is 33 LPA. The lowest package is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IBM, Deloitte, Accenture, etc. Internships are mainly based on the students. Students are free to do internships in MNCs on their own.
Infrastructure: Faculty members are very supportive and qualified enough. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus, and classrooms are in good quality. The library is very big; approximately 1 lakh books are available. The hostels are very good, and the food quality in the mess is also good. 24-hour electricity.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. Their teaching quality is also good. The course is not relevant according to the job market; students have to study extra to get a job. The semester exams are not so hard; students can easily pass by studying one night before.

The curriculum is the latest industry-based. It is updated and to be concise. It helps in adapting to the latest technology and all. Semester exams are quite easy. You can pass it even by reading before examination days. Be it lab or theory, all papers are easy. The pass percentage is 30% out of 70%. The rest will be internal marks.
Other: I chose this course because nowadays, technology is evolving day to day. Even another reason is that in the government exam, there is too much competition and by doing this course. There is a good chance of getting a job. I think training and internship must be provided by the college. This makes students much more ready for projects and helps in survival in a competitive world. There are different fests like Prayukti, River, cultural fests, annual sports fests, and foundation days, and many are held. Scholarships are provided for home-state students and by the Indian government. Some category-wise scholarships are available.

Our college infrastructure and hostel were pretty good. ROI and placements are average.
Placements: About 91% of students were placed in the 2023-2024 batch. Packages offered are 10 LPA, 3 LPA, and 5.75 LPA. Infosys, Capgemini, and Tata Consultancy Services were top recruiting companies in this course. Almost 5-7% through off-campus. Consultancy jobs, software engineers, and marketing.
Infrastructure: The Institute is an enclave campus of 50 acres of land. Separate hostel facilities are available for boys (11) and girls (03). It has more than 850 computers, a restaurant, an open-air cafeteria, a departmental store, a pharmacy, a bank, a gym, etc. Hostel food quality is good.
Faculty: Yes, teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also good. You do not have to fully depend on this college. You have also to put your extra efforts beyond this course. Semester exams are average. The passing percentage is about 30-35%.
