Review by a third-year student.
Placements: We have a placement cell which is very active, giving the required industry training. It will not help you with your internships but will do so for placements. Most of the visiting companies are mass recruiters like TCS and Cognizant. This year, many folks cracked TCS Digital, which offers a package of 6-9 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus has a sports area, a library, a reading room, etc. Recently, they have introduced gyms too. They also have a playground where football and volleyball are often played by the students. They also have a garden in the middle. The whole college is divided into 3 blocks. No, the institute doesn't have a residential facility. You have to take a private mess or PG depending on your budget.
Faculty: The faculty is good and very supportive in terms of academics. They are ready to teach you even at night on call. I guess most of the colleges have this kind of faculty. I am pursuing B.Tech (IT) from this college. To enroll here, you must have a good rank in WBJEE or JEE Main. Preferably, it’s easier to score in JEE Main for this college. I chose this because it was near my hometown, and my friends also joined it.
Other: Overall, the college is good. You can expect much return on investment from the college. Placements are good (majorly mass recruiters). College life is decent, and the faculty is good. I joined it at a rank of 77,000 in JEE Main through the WBJEE phase. If your WBJEE marks are not very good and you are looking for an okay-type college near your hometown, this can be a good option.

Interesting journey of 4 years in NSEC.
Placements: Placements percentage in our courses is about 92%-95%. The highest salary package offered is 32 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3.2 LPA, by TCS. Mass recruiters for our courses are TCS and Accenture. Roles offered by these companies are software engineer.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of our college are very good. Each and every corner of the college has Wi-Fi connectivity. All the rooms have smart boards for better teaching methods and furnished chairs with well-lit rooms. All rooms are fully air-conditioned. No hostels are available in our college so I cannot comment on the food quality and room facilities. There is a canteen in our college and taste of the food is really good.
Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and highly qualified. They have knowledge in both practical and theoretical aspects. This course curriculum is relevant and helps make students industry-ready. We have done many projects in the lab related to our core subjects. Our semester exams are bit difficult because of the university management. Most students pass the exams, but some students have difficulties in certain semesters.

Fine college in terms of value for money. Placements are somewhat low, around 3 LPA.
Placements: Of course, not all the students get placement, but you will get opportunities if your grades are fine. Almost no core jobs are available here. The highest package lies between 10-14 LPA in software-based MNCs, and the average is around 4.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, and Thoughtworks recruit here. The college does not provide any internships. Roles offered are System Engineer, Associate Software Developer, SDE 1, etc.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is fine; the labs are well-equipped but need some newer machines. However, the size is a bit small for the number of students. There is a canteen, but it is also a bit small. The canteen's price and quality are just fine. There are no hostel facilities at NSEC.
Faculty: The ratio of good teachers is 1:1; some have a lot of knowledge, while some struggle to express concepts. The overall quality of teaching is average. Semester exams could be difficult for students who haven't studied anything. If you have studied a little, you can pass the exams. If you want to score the highest, you need to study daily.
Other: If you are getting WBJEE rank around 15K to 20K, I think you should take admission here. Labs should focus more on practical work, but all other aspects are just fine. Annual fests, meetups, and sports events are conducted regularly.

The 4-year journey of our college, NECC, is very admirable.
Placements: About 90% - 95% of students were placed last year. Out of 300 to 350 students, many were placed in TCS, Accenture, and Cognizant. TCS hired around 100 students, Accenture hired 100 students, and Cognizant hired 100 students. Many more companies came, and a lot of students were placed. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Cognizant, and Accenture. There are no internships available through the college campus due to the unavailability of companies offering internships. The roles offered by companies in our course are mainly in web development.
Infrastructure: Many facilities are available in our course. Each corner has Wi-Fi connectivity, and smart boards are available in our classes. Well-furnished and managed labs are also available.
Faculty: All teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality and techniques are very good. All teachers are very friendly with us. The way of teaching is admirable. Our course, Electronics and Communication, prepares students for the industry. Semester exams in our college are slightly tough, and not easy because they are managed by Maulana Abdul Kalam University.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in VLSI and communication engineering.

ECE is an evergreen branch.
Placements: Our college provides good placement records with reputable companies like TCS, Cognizant, and Wipro. They offered many higher posts for students. Almost 90% of students got placed on campus placements. Many companies visit our college and provide students with internships. Our college arranges pool campusing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not good. There is no playground. There is no space for students to hang out. Our college does not have a hostel. The infrastructure of our classrooms is not good. They are not air-conditioned. There is no place for 4th year students. Our college does not have a good library.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are knowledgeable and skilful. Their friendly behaviour encourages students to feel free to ask any doubt. They clear our doubts and help with any problem. The college curriculum is not good for our present scenario. The curriculum is quite good. It is not difficult to pass university exams. Maximum students pass university exams. The passing percentage is 95%.
Other: Everyone knows that electronics is an evergreen branch. As an ECE student, I got a chance to take the core and IT exams. The course curriculum should be changed. Our college conducts many tech fests like Aveneer, GDSC boost camps, blockchain events, etc. It organises sports inter-college tournaments like Infinito, intra-college sports competitions, Zest, etc. Eco-cultural Cloud conducts a freshers' party named Prelude and an annual fest named Mesmarizer.
