The difficulty level of NIMCET is normal. Questions from computer awareness sections is of BCA/BSc IT level while English, logical reasoning and Mathematics questions are of intermediate level. Students appearing at their final year graduation examination may also apply (with eligibility criteria up to last completed semester) Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally and candidates have to submit certificate of completion of the graduation degree. The BTech course fees at NIT Agartala range between INR 3.5 lakh- INR 5 lakh. The duration of the course is for four to five years.
