A beautiful college with a great set of people.
Placements: At NIT Agartala, the placement percentage for my course typically ranges from 80 to 90 percent. The highest package for batch 2023 is 52 LPA offered by AWS. The few companies that visit NIT Agartala are Google, Amazon, Tekion, Oracle, etc. The minimum package from my course is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good when we enroll, we get the RNT hostel, which is the newly constructed hostel and looks like a hotel room but the rooms are short and our course have a separate building that also has good room and a projector connected into it.
Faculty: I will say this is average, as faculty are just there for to complete the syllabus; they don't look at the student curriculum activities, but they are all helpful if you have any doubt. Exams were held, such as midterms and finals. Midterm carry marks of 50. End-term carry marks of 100. And teachers are helpful if someone struggle to prepare for exam.
Other: I will say it is worth it. The campus life is so good; we get so many things to explore there. They have the largest sports infrastructure as compared to other cities, so you will enjoy that fest. It will not be as hopeful as the budget for Tech Fest is low but I will say its not as bad either.

Review of NIT Agartala - National Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placement is just above average as we all know recession is on, so our college is also affected by it. The highest is 52 LPA for the CSE branch, and also something about 14 or 15 LPA for the CSE branch ECE. Approximately 50 percent of students got placed.
Infrastructure: As our college provides modern facilities to our department, good labs and classrooms are like a mixture of school and college expectations. Overall, star-like desks are available. Hostels are really good; lifts are there, rooms are good with two people sharing for the first and second year. After that, we get single rooms for boys. Food is also average, not good only for the first year; after that, food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are good; they are helpful in our studies. They are qualified, hardworking, and also want work from students, especially in the electronics branch. The curriculum is also good but it must be better. Semester exams are not hard; just prepare nicely before one week of the exam, and you will do well.
Other: I have interest to work with electronics gadgets so chose this branch. In NIT Agartala, there are many fests like Moksha, Anannya, technical fest, DJ night, dandiya night, and so many. There is a scholarship section which you can apply for scholarships. There are many activities which you can do and enjoy there, all games.

Worst faculty, average placements, good infrastructure, worst lab facilities
Placements: 80% students were placed in my course. Highest package was 45 lpa lowest was 3 lpa and average was 6lpa. Top recruiters were Oracle, Phonepe, Digit, Morgan Stanley, Infineon. 5℅ have got internship at Microsoft, Amazon etc. Top roles offered were Software engineer, Business Analyst.
Infrastructure: Lab equipments are too old. Out of 10 setups hardly 2-3 work rest all are damaged so everyone have to perform experiments in groups. Classrooms are good . Library is also good. Hostel has good infrastructure especially RNT but food quality is bad in mess. Sports facility is good. NITA sports Complex is the biggest in all nits.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful. Some are qualified which come from other states but those from local i.e. Bengali teachers are very bad. Especially lab assistant are very worst. They have zero knowledge but high ego. Course curriculum is old almost similar to any nit. Semester exams are not that much difficult. One can pass with good marks easily if studied 2weeks before exams.
Other: I did not have any option since I didn't not much money to go to any IIIT. Best thing I can say is ECE comes just after CSE in terms of placements. I would like if the teachers possess positive attitude towards students and not differentiate them on basis of home state and other state. Events and fests are meant to be get cancelled or postponed.

NITA, one of the growing NITs in India for sure.
Placements: My course is ECE, and on average, ECE is good enough at NIT Agartala, but this year, the placement ratio drastically fell due to recession. Last year, the total percentage of placement ratio in my branch (ECE) was 100%, but this year it fell down to 47% by a drastic change. The highest package offered in my branch is 30 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 5 LPA. The average package is 11.8 LPA in my branch. Last year, the average placement of CSE and ECE was 14.5 and 13.25 LPA respectively, and the median was 10 LPA for these 2 branches. The highest package was 52 LPA in CSE, ECE, and EE respectively, and in EIE, it was 31.5 LPA. In Mechanical, it was 18 LPA, and in Production, it was 30 LPA. However, in 2023-24, the highest package of CSE is 52 LPA, in ECE and EE, it's 30 LPA respectively, in EIE it is 19 LPA, in Mechanical it is 20 LPA, in Civil it is 16.5 LPA, in Chemical it is 16.5 LPA, and in Production, it is 18 LPA. There is a drastic fall in the placement this year compared to other years because last year almost 200+ companies visited our college, but this year only 80-90 companies visited due to recession. The top recruiting companies in our college are Oracle (every year it gives the finest offers above 20-30 LPA+ offers), Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, Adobe, TCS, etc. Many more. About internships among my seniors, I know some of them who actually cracked good internships in Microsoft, Google, Goldman Sachs, PayPal. In ECE, 90% of the students of our college go to the tech sector, so the top roles offered in our course are SDE 1, SDE 2, SDE 3, and software engineer. On average (except this year of placement), it is the most growing NIT in India, with good placements and infrastructure. You can opt for this NIT undoubtedly.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is top-notch, undoubtedly. We have a Wi-Fi system, but the worst part is we only get 2 GB/day of free Wi-Fi. But it doesn't matter because after classes, you get a little time to consume your net. You get a huge library in NIT Agartala, and books are completely free here. The classrooms of ECE, EE, CSE, EIE are top-notch. We have two huge hostels, one is RNT for 1st and 3rd years, and this is one of the best hostels among NITs in India. The other one is Aryabhatta, which is a little old but quite decent, and it's for 2nd and 4th year students. The food quality in the first year is decent enough but not that great, but from the 2nd year onwards, you get great quality. We have a little hospital too, so medical facility is decent enough. Among sports and games, I can say we are the best. NITA has the biggest sports complex in India among all 31 NITs, so now you can imagine.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified here, and they teach decently enough, like you expect from an NIT and IITs, and they are helpful too. The curriculum here is relevant and up to date; you can join this college with no doubt. Semester exams are well-maintained here and quite difficult enough, but if you read before 2-3 weeks before the exam daily just for 2 hours a day, you can get a good GPA, and the pass percentage here is almost 99%.
Other: The campus is too big among NITs in India. In my course (ECE), the best and the worst part is we have much pressure compared to CSE in our college. 75% attendance is mandatory for us, etc. We have a cultural fest named Moksha, and it is one of the largest fests in the Northeast after IIT Guwahati. NITA conducts a tech fest also, and it's also too cool. Connectivity is good. Just in 40-45 minutes, you can reach the main city Agartala and the main rail station of Agartala, and the airport is also near to the college. The college doesn't provide many scholarships at all, but you can avail it on your own, in which the college helps you. In terms of extracurricular activities, we are the best because we have different types of clubs like singing, dancing, coding, entrepreneurship cell, fine arts club, etc. And those clubs are so active.

    NIT Agartala is underrated.
Placements: As per the data provided, my previous batch got 75-80% percent placements. Companies like Texas Instruments, muisigma, mc kinley, Airtel, and Oracle visit our campus. Overall, placements are good. The eligibility criteria is around 7.5 CGPA. Seniors and faculty guide us through the placement procedure.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided on campus, 2 GB per day, but we still experience some connection issues. Classrooms are good, but washrooms are not up to standard. However, everything in the hostel is fine. NIT Agartala is one of the colleges that has the biggest library in the Northeastern states.
Faculty: Faculty are good at teaching, but particularly the ECE faculty is strict; paper correction is strict, and paper setting is tough. Getting a good CGPA in ECE is quite difficult compared to other branches, but placements are good for the ECE branch. Both core and IT placements are good.
Other: Girls' in-time is around 7 PM every day. Fests and events are better now compared to previous years.

No, first you are not qualifying the criteria for 10 + 2 percentile, and second you have to give JEE Mains for sure.

No, not at all, you have to apply for JEE Main to take admission in prestigious NITs, and even you are not following the percentile score for 10 + 2.
