An honest and faithful review of my college.
Placements: The placement scenario at my college is average, with an average package of 9 LPA, the highest package of 56 LPA, and 3 LPA is the lowest package. Suggesting a need for more support to uplift weaker students. Many companies visited our college for placement and internships.
Infrastructure: The college has the best infrastructure and a 350+-acre greenish campus, which makes it gorgeous. This college has the biggest library and top-notch sports complex. Labs are well maintained. 2 GB of Wi-Fi is available for a student. Mess food is below average in the first year.
Faculty: Teachers and faculty are helpful and well mannered; they are well qualified in their respected fields, but in your first year, you have a maximum PhD scholar who teaches you. Two exams are held per semester, midterm and endterm. Exams are moderate but you have to study for them.
Other: I am not getting what I want because it's about my rank in JEE Mains. But according to my rank, it's the best decision to take chemical engineering in NIT Agartala.

NIT Agartala review by Gourab Das.
Placements: 100% of students are placed in the IT, core sector, and PSU. The highest package is 30 lakh, and the lowest is 6 lakh. Neepco, ONGC, TPCB, OTPC, and Dr. Reddy's come for placements. All students complete internships in the private and government sectors. One can become a good chemical engineer.
Infrastructure: All classes are held on time, and the infrastructure is good. There is a library where you can issue books or download PDFs on your mobile through the college's library website. Hostels are available for boys and girls, and the hostels are spacious with many blocks.
Faculty: The teachers hold doctorate degrees and have extensive knowledge of their subjects. They guide students through their engineering course journey. The course curriculum is entirely relevant and prepares students for the industry. Semester exams are quite difficult, as it is one of the best colleges in India, and you need to qualify for the JEE Mains exam to gain admission. The passing marks in the semester exam are 41 out of 100.

Review of National Institute of Technology, Agartala.
Placements: Hello! I am currently studying at NIT Agartala. In NIT Agartala, 80 percent of students get placements every year. The highest package is 54 LPA in NIT Agartala, whereas the average package ranges between 8 to 9 LPA. Companies that are visiting here are PhonePe, Reliance, Microsoft, PayPal, and many more like Vedanta.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in NIT Agartala is above average. There are also very spacious hostel rooms, and the building is also attractive. Wi-Fi is available, and the food quality is not good here. You can find many canteens that offer good food. The sports facility is also above average. The sports complex is very big here and provides a ground for football as well as cricket.
Faculty: Here, you won't get a friendly relationship between the teacher and student. Some teachers are there who can help you anywhere, but mostly teachers are not like that. Semester exams are not tough here; you can simply get good marks if you go through your class notes.
Other: I chose this course as I was interested in PSU as this department leads us for GATE preparation. I wish that the attendance criteria should be changed because it becomes so hectic to continue classes from 9 to 5. Events and fests are average here; you can get a cultural as well as technical fest in a year. Scholarship is given by our state, and some categories are there for special reservation. Overall, the campus is fully greenish, and the environment is excellent.

Review of NIT Agartala - National Institute of Technology.
Placements: 30 to 40% of students are placed from the chemical branch this year. Not only chemical, all branches' placements are not good this year. The highest package, I don't know, but the average package of chemical this year is 9LPA . Top recruiting companies are 1. Cairn India Limited, 2. Reliance Industries Limited. Internship percentage is about 50 percent.
Infrastructure: There is a special building for our course. Wi-Fi is available, labs are also good, classrooms are large and ventilated, and a very large library is also present. The hostel is pretty good, mess food is about average. Medical facility is available, you can get free medicine. Sports facility is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are very good; some of them are very knowledgeable and helpful. Very much qualified teachers are present. Some of the professors also taught in colleges outside of India. They know how to teach a student. They help the student very much. Yes. Semester exams are average, not that much difficult. Passing marks for the students are about 35 percent.

Great infrastructure, bad faculty, and food.
Placements: Almost 60% of students get placed throughout the end semester, and after some time, the percentage increases but not 100% nowadays. The highest package that was offered last year was 16 LPA, and this year placements are ongoing, but till now 12 LPA was the highest in the core sector. For chemicals, there are big and major companies that come like Asian Paints, MRF, Tata Chemicals, Reliance, L&T, etc. Almost everyone gets an internship in the third year, but if you want to do an internship before that, you can try off-campus for certificates and experience.
Infrastructure: As for facilities, we have enough classrooms for a strength of 70 students. We even have our own building for the chemical department, but we don’t know why our department is not using that building; it's just standing there. Wi-Fi is available in buildings and hostels, but it depends on if the connection is reaching there or not. Basically, the Wi-Fi service is bad, and you also only get 2 GB for the day. The library is very good and big, and there are tons of books on different subjects. The hostel rooms are very small for 2 people to live in; you will get a single table to study for 2 students, and the bathrooms and toilets are average at most. The food is really an issue, as it is totally not up to the standards it should be. Sometimes the food seems unsuitable for consumption. For medical facilities, we do have one small hospital, but they are not to be trusted blindly, as they sometimes give wrong and expired medications. Our sports complex is very good and big; most of the facilities are available there, apart from the swimming pool, which is still under construction.
Faculty: Not all the teachers were helpful and friendly, but some were pretty ill-mannered. Maybe they are knowledgeable, but one's knowledge cannot teach them about manners. The course curriculum is not that much relevant; we get some topics, but they are still taught very slightly. The end semester is comparatively harder than the mid-semester, as the syllabus is vast and time is also very less. For passing, you have to score a total of 40 marks out of 100 by taking internal marks as well.
Other: I chose this course for the vast variety of industries which depend on chemical engineering, and I thought of it as a vast scope in career. I wished they would rather teach us practical knowledge about the components and machinery in industries rather than just theory. Regarding events, we have our cultural fest MOKSHA, which happens in the month of January or February, and with that, we have many more events tech fests, and hackathons.
