This college is good to spend your two years of PG.
Placements: Placements for M.Tech mechanical are very poor. Only 10-13 students got placed in our batch and no one in the core industry. People got placed in coding companies and in teaching fields. Placements for B.Tech mechanical is around 60-70%. Placements for coding branches is more than 100% for all M.Tech, MCA and B.Tech degrees.
Infrastructure: It is a well-established college. Hence, it has a very nice infrastructure for each department. Being the Institute of National Importance, funds come regularly to improve the facilities within the campus. We have a nice swimming pool. Sports grounds are also well-maintained.
Faculty: We have highly qualified faculty members in each department, but they are a little bit partial towards Malayali students. We have well-supporting staff in the office. The course curriculum is updated. Feedback from the students is also considered for updating the course. The student-faculty ratio is good.
Other: Ragam, South India's biggest concerts happen every year in NIT Calicut as a cultural fest. It is a very nice campus with all the facilities.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

    A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
