Good but it has issues for the MCA students.

Placements: The placement for master of computer application is good, but there are two main issues. First is that lots of companies do not consider master of computer application and the second is that most of the students do not fulfill the company criteria. The placement was good and about 60% students got placed. The highest salary offered was 21 lakh, the average salary was 4.2lakh and the lowest was 3.2lakh. Companies like Amazon, Oracle, IBM, Mahindra, Com-viva, Tata Consultancy Services, Novell etc ...

NIT Jamshedpur is an average college when it comes to faculty or teaching. The best thing about college is, it has best placement record for B.Tech but not for M.Tech. Infrastructure is worst, college library is not updated, no canteen for non-Hoteliers and no hostel provision for M.Tech.

IT is the best NIT with reference to placement. But the infrastructure of National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur (TATANAGAR) is not very good. But the infrastructure is now growing up. The rank of NIT Jamshedpur is 40 among the top 100 engineering colleges in India.

This has to be the worst NIT in terms of infrastructure, campus amenities and faculty. The M.Tech/MCA/Ph.D students are not provided with hostels (a mega-hostel is under construction, things might change in a year), there are electricity cuts despite 24 hours availability in nearby residential colonies, and, this one is hilarious and tragic at the same time, there is a scarcity of toilets and water in the academic blocks! Placements are alright as the college does have a name in the area. The st...

The college is pretty good but it's not as good as it should be, being a college of national importance. The infrastructure is not good. Labs are not well equipped with modern instruments. In fact the instruments which are in labs aren't in working condition. The college campus is not provided with full WI-FI coverage. It is available only at selected places in the college campus.

Why you should be careful while choosing collegegood college in terms of placement.

Placements: Almost all gets placed here. Heights goes upto 80 LPA and on average 15 LPA. All top mncs come here. For CSE ECE and electrical this doesn't matter you are most likely to get place talking about core meta and PI are mechanical are very good. Academics is average.

I am dissatisfied because of the hostel facility.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon and Google visit our campus for placements. Our college offers courses like CSE and ECE. The highest salary package offered in our course is 45 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. About 70% of the students from our course got an internship. We get very less internship because most of our college ...

The college placements are good except that everything is very worst.

Placements: Placements of our college were proper compared to the education that we get here by our faculty. We got enough time for our further studies, and we also got our placements very easily in this college.
