Nice College with all good Facilities.

Placements: College provides a conducive environment for academic pursuits. A significant majority of students, approximately 74%, in my course have successfully secured placements, with the highest package being around 30 lacs and the lowest package offered at 5 lacs. Moreover, around 51% of students have the opportunity to intern at reputable companies. As Civil students, we have access to esteemed organizations such as L and T, HCC, Gaar, DLFA, and more.

NIT Jamshedpur - Good placements, decent infrastructure facilities & primitive methods of teaching.

Placements: Jamshedpur being an industrious city attracts big multi national companies. The placement of core branches are better than most top NITs. The lowest package is 6lpa, the highest package is 83lpa and average package is 13lpa. Top recruiters are Amazon, Atlassian, Tata, etc. 60 percent students get offered internship depending on their activeness.

Underrated but the best college ever.

Placements: In Electrical Engineering, there is 100 percent placement as of 2022. The highest is 83 LPA, and the lowest is around 6 LPA. The average placement is 12 LPA. The top recruiting company is Tata. The percentage of internships is around 20 percent. This year, many students got placed in the core domain as the recession is still ongoing.

Dissatisfied with the infrastructure but placement stats are good.

Placements: More than 90% of the students were placed in my course, which is quite good. The highest was around 85 LPA, the lowest was around 15 LPA and the average was 22 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Atlassian, Flipkart and many others. The majority of students got internships from my course too.

Great opportunities, if you know how to grab it.

Placements: Our mechanical batch contains 115 students in its first year. The placement percentage of our mechanical branch in NIT Jamshedpur is almost 100 percent, with an average package of 10 lacs per annum. The highest package of my course, according to the states of last year, is 25 lacs per annum and the lowest package is approximately 6 lacs per annum.

NIT JSR is truly a great college that teaches you in every aspect.

Pretty well college and decent placement .

Placements: Last year, 98 percent of students in my branch were placed in various companies. The highest package offered was 80 lakhs per annum, and 70 percent of students secured internships. Numerous IT companies visited NIT Jamshedpur, with Tata Steel and TCS being the top recruiters. The average package for the electrical branch was 16 lakhs per annum.

Placements: As I am from the mechanical branch and the placements are quite good in core branches compared to other colleges, if you are thinking of joining the core branch sector, NIT Jamshedpur will be the best option. Campus life and facilities are not so good but Placements are quite Satisfactory.

Placements: The high placement percentage here is a plus point. In the last year, 2022, the overall placement rate was around 95 percent or above. Specifically, in my branch, which is Mechanical Engineering, it stood at 100 percent. The highest package from mechanical was 22 LPA, while the lowest was 5 LPA.

Placements: For two years, the college has had placements above the average. Over 98 percent were placed in the previous year. However, due to the recession, the college is facing a lack of non-core placements. Nonetheless, core companies such as Tata Motors, Tata Steel, Jindal, and Aditya Birla are showing more interest in our college this year. At present, the maximum placement this year has been 80 LPA.
