I am satisfied with our college because it has good faculty members and a good placement percentage.
Placements: I am pursuing a B.Tech in electrical engineering at NIT Kurukshetra. My year of passing is 2026. In our senior batch, almost 90% of students got placements. Some students from our batch got internships in some companies. Many companies visit our institute like Dell, Accenture, Korea, Samsung, etc. The highest salary package offered in our electrical engineering course is 60 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Most of the students got placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of NIT Kurukshetra is very good. Our college provides digital screens in classrooms to understand fast. All types of books are available in our college library. Our college provides an internet facility for students all over the college. Our college provides a hostel to every student. There are a lot of hostels. They are well-maintained by our college. The quality of the food is good in the mess. Our college provides health insurance of Rs. 2,50,000.
Faculty: Faculty members at NIT Kurukshetra are good. They have 20 years of experience in teaching. They make students study well. Teachers are very helpful to students. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The difficulty of semester exams is moderate. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I wanted to choose the computer science course but I was not eligible for it because of the JEE Main score, so I opted for electrical engineering. It is also a good course. We can explore new things in labs like high voltage lab we see how lightning creates charge. Events are organized as planned in the calendar, but they receive less funding for events and festivals.

Overall, this is a place where dreams come true.
Placements: The companies that visited for placements include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Google, Amazon, and Flipkart. The highest package offered at the college is 62 LPA, and the average package is 14 LPA. More than 75% of students are getting placed, and over 40% of students secured internships in the top companies mentioned above. The top roles offered in my course are computer engineer, hardware, and power plants.
Infrastructure: The name of the annual technical festival is Confluence, which is mostly held in October. The range and availability of books in the library are good; you just need to register with your admission letter and ID to borrow books. Sports and extracurricular activities are also available, with a huge sports ground and complex providing all types of sports facilities. There are also clubs for dance, acting, singing, etc., to enhance everyone’s talent. The hostel facilities are decent; they provide internet connection, but in my hostel, they have adjusted two students in one single-seater room. Otherwise, all other hostels are good. They provide three meals and snacks in the evening, and the quality of food is good and healthy. Registration for the hostel is simple; at the time of admission, they allot you a hostel, and you have to show them your admission letter and pay the hostel fees separately. The locality is not very good for renting a room or PG, as the college is a little far from the city area. So, if anyone wants to rent a good PG, it will be a bit far.
Faculty: The teachers are very experienced, well-qualified, and knowledgeable in their subjects, with all teachers holding PhD degrees. The course curriculum is relevant and helps students gain knowledge and develop skills for better opportunities. The semester exams are a bit challenging, as this is an institute of national importance, which sets its own standards, but the pass percentage is good, at more than 90%.
Other: I chose this course because I got a seat in counseling. The best thing about my course is its future demand, as electricity will always be the first need for humans in all work, from households to industries.

Review of NIT Kurukshetra - National Institute of Technology.
Placements: Campus placements begin from the 7th semester of the course. Major recruiters of the drive include companies like Microsoft, Amazon, PSUs, etc. 80% of the batch gets placed in the drive with an average package of around 14.7 LPA. The highest package is 65 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are below average compared to NIT Kurukshetra. The infrastructure is too old and requires improvement. Otherwise, the classrooms are fully equipped with technology. Wi-Fi is available in the library and hostels, which are also well-maintained. The food quality in the mess is good, but the taste is not satisfactory. Medical facilities are available 24/7, and the sports ground is excellent.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and possess a wealth of knowledge. The teaching quality of most faculty members is good. I chose electrical engineering because of its promising future prospects. Being a circuital branch, it offers ample opportunities in both teaching and core fields. Electrical engineering is considered a demanding course, but it is also interesting. The semester exams are quite challenging, with around 80% of students passing.

The college is marvelous with good placement.
Placements: The placements are okay. The last placement run was below average as it was the Covid-19 batch. The packages vary by branch, usually ranging from 8-15 LPA. About 80-90% of students get placed. There are top-notch companies that come for recruitment. The highest domestic package recently was 51 LPA.
Infrastructure: The labs and classrooms are old-fashioned but maintained. Wi-Fi is not provided on campus, although LAN is available in the rooms, where only two people can connect simultaneously. The medical facilities are top-notch, and almost all medicines are available for free to students.
Faculty: Recently, a lot of new courses have been introduced to widen the career options for students along with minor degrees. New batches are usually given assistant teachers currently undergoing Ph.D. The placements are above average. You require about 85% to get a 10.0 CGPA, and an attendance percentage of 75% is compulsory.

NIT kurukshetra, prospering in the land of git.
Placements: There were a great number of recruiters that had come and were very generous in recruiting. They were willing to recruit the most able candidates, and if they saw potential in the student, they were giving appropriate chances. Microsoft, Jio, Bajaj, etc., were among them.
Infrastructure: Infra is a bit old but there are good enough facilities for everyone to use and is able to provide the satisfaction required. The sports facilities are amazing, and there are no shortcomings whatsoever. The lab equipment is top-notch and provides students an amazing chance at learning the subject with practical knowledge.
Faculty: Exams are tough, but the professors are very helpful and will definitely help in studying and passing exams. Attendance criteria are still in place, so you need to attend max classes. There are frequent exams like mid-sem 1,2 and then the end semesters. But all it does is give students endless opportunities to thrive and learn.
Other: Amazing co-curriculars, amazing people, amazing fest.

Students also asked

Q:   Can I get into NIT Kurukshetra with 95 percentile?

A:

A 95 percentile in entrance exams would raise a candidate's prospect of getting into NIT Kurukshetra, as the conventional cutoff for NIT ranges from 85 to 95 percentile on most seats. This also includes factors such as the cutthroat competition that may exist for a particular course and the sheer number of applicants.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Q:   How can I get admission in NIT Kurukshetra?

A:

The admissions are mainly through national-level entrance exams such as for undergraduate programs from JEE main while postgraduate level applicants qualify through GATE. After successful qualification in entrance examination, candidates must participate in counseling coordinated by JoSAA or CCMT in respective conditions for seat allocation. Eligible with a good rank in the entrance examination, the student is sure to get admission in NIT Kurukshetra into one of its numerous various programs.

Q:   Is NIT Kurukshetra worth it?

A:

To get admission in NIT Kurukshetra, candidates need to have a valid JEE Main score. The institute conducts counseling based on JEE Main scores, and the cutoff for JEE Main can be quite high. It's important to score well in JEE Main and meet the institute's eligibility criteria to be considered for admission.

The NIT Kurukshetra cutoff 2023 for BTech courses varied between 8104 and 45868 in the last round, with BTech in CSE being the most competitive specialization. Apart from the competitive JEE Main cutoff, the institute has also been ranked 58th by NIRF Ranking 2023 in the Engineering category. In terms of placements, NIT Kurukshetra has a strong record, with the highest package and average package offered during BTech placements 2022 standing at INR 125 LPA and INR 13.89 LPA, respectively.

No,there is not any management quota in NIT Kurukshetra, even in other NIT's also. Admissions take place only through the counselling based on your JEE Mains rank.
