The college has good placements, bad hostels, the worst food, and average teachers.

Placements: The placements are good on the campus. Computer science and information technology have good placements. The average salary package was around 8-10 Lacs. All top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, etc., visit the campus for placements. Within India, this time, the highest salary package was around 40 LPA, and it is mind-blowing.

Good for average students but not for extraordinary students.

Placements: The placements are fine for CS/IT and mechanical while other branches do have problems in this segment. For 2017-18 batch, the highest package of 42 LPA was offered to a student by Adobe. However, it was a PPO offer. For 2016-17, CS/IT had an average package of 10 LPA, the maximum was 26.98 LPA, and the lowest was 9 LPA. For mechanical, the maximum was 18 LPA, the average was 6.75 LPA, and the lowest was 6 LPA. For ECE, the maximum was 18 LPA, the average was 6.13 LPA, and the lowest was 6 LPA. ...

An honest review on NIT, Kurukshetra.

Placements: The placements are good though internships are not. Especially, for someone who is not in IT, CS or ECE. It is a shame that we have to face this kind of a situation in this premier institute. Though the new director is making efforts for the betterment of the situation, the current situation is not excellent per say.

Average course, poor infrastructure and good placements.

Placements: Placement scenario has become better. Almost 90% people in BTech computer engineering get placed by the end of the placement season. Companies ranging from Amazon, Microsoft, Zscalar, Oracle, Zomato, Directi, Practo and MakeMyTrip come. The highest-paid company pays you around 20 lakh with IBM, TCS on the lower end giving around 3 lakh per annum.

NIT Kurukshetra: Good placements, average infrastructure and facultiy with no industry exposure.

Placements: At the time of my review(Jan 2017), placement process is still going on and companies are still visiting in NIT Kurukshetra. Major IT companies providing the highest packages are: Adobe (base salary: 11.34 LPA, total salary: 38 LPA including perks), 5 students placed. Amazon (total salary: 26 LPA including perks), 3 students placed. Directi (total salary: 25 LPA including perks), 3 students placed. Samsung (total salary: 16 LPA including perks), 5 students placed. Really good infrastructure, especially the hostel facilities.

Placements: Given the reputation a college of National importance should have, the placements were not up to the mark. Rather I should say in the core branches, less than 50% of the students got placed somehow. In my branch, the highest package offered was 11.5 LPA and the lowest offered was around 3 LPA with an average package circulating around 5.5 LPA. The roles offered were very limited as most of the companies visiting were non-core thus providing sales profile and analyst positions. Talking about inte...

If you don't have enough money then you can join this university otherwise no.

Placements: So after completing my BBA from Kurukshetra University I decided to pursue MBA from tier as I thought it will provide me good opportunity for placement but I was wrong there was no opportunity for placement at all, we just got some small companies visiting there and they were just offering very less package around 2 3LPA.

Overall, it is an average college. Infrastructure and faculty are below average.

Placements: Placements are quite good. However, it varies for every branch. Placements are held at the training and placement cell. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft and Adobe visit our college. For CS and IT braches, Maruti, Hero for mechanical and production engineering and many good companies also visit here. Many good PSUs also visit our college. The average salary package offered for CS and IT is around 10 LPA, for mechanical and electrical branches, it is around 7 LPA, for ECE it is around 5.5 LPA.
