Quite an awesome academic boosting experience.

Placements: Placement opportunities are available for students taking up engineering courses, the placement percentage might be 30-40% per batch although no placement opportunities are available for the Physics and Chemistry department as they get an opportunity to get appointed only in IT companies.

NIT Nagaland offers proper facilities and faculty to the students in our course.

Placements: For the electrical engineering branch, 40-50% of the students get placements at this college. Average package offered at our college was between 3-6 LPA. Many companies such as Wipro, PWc, Infosys, Adani, Reliance, Tata Technologies etc. Visit the campus for placements. Students also get internship opportunities at this college.

Disappointed due to faculty, but the hostel and overall environment are good.

Placements: NIT Nagaland has seen a steady improvement in its placement statistics over the years. The placement rate typically ranges between 70% to 90%, with variations across different departments. The highest package is around INR 15-18 LPA, and the average package is around INR 4-6 LPA.

Not so good placement for civil, but worth it for a good college experience and healthy environment.

Placements: Placement is not that good. For civil, it's very low—around INR 5 lpa, which is very low. In other branches, it's almost the same as in other NITs. It's improving every year, so I'm just hoping civil gets higher too. Many companies, such as Johnson, Infosys, etc., visit.

I would recommend students to join this college.

Placements: Around 89% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 20 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 6 LPA - 8 LPA. If students are good then they can be placed in top companies.

Good hostel facility and cool environment around the campus.

Placements: There were 30 to 35 students, placed around in a batch and the branch is good having average placements the Communication between students in class is very good and also they are so friendly even the other state students also. About placements, I am not sure that everyone will get placements.

There are good placements and diversity.

Placements: Generally, students who study regularly got placed from our college, and they do not need to worry about placements. The highest salary package offered for EEE is around 10 LPA, while the average salary package offered is around 5.5 LPA. I don't know recent stats of placements. However, overall it's an awesome college with a permanent campus. L&T Construction hires mostly EEE students, whereas different companies visit for different branches like Vedanta Industries, Capgemini, Publicis Sapient, ...

The infrastructure of the college is developing.

Placements: Placements are the most important thing for students. I am in the final year now, and till now 3 companies came here for placements and we went to different colleges for the placement dives of five companies. Around 12-15 students among 47 got placed till now, and 4-5 companies will come for placements after Durga Puja.

Satisfied with the placements.

Placements: NIT Nagaland is rich in placements. The primary recruiters are Emphasis, Wipro, Capgemini and few more. Around 70% of the students get placed every year. The highest package was 8.9 LPA so far, continuing. The college will not provide any internships to students. There is placement cell at NIT Nagaland which is very useful.

Satisfied with the facilities provided by the college in 2017, but they are not sufficient.

Placements: The placements are not bad, in fact, they are pretty decent. Currently, mostly IT companies are showing interest but I am sure electrical core companies will also recruit in mass. The maximum package is Rs. 18 LPA, the minimum is Rs. 3.3 LPA. On an average, the placed students have a package of around Rs. 10 LPA. Many companies like L&T-ECC, Wipro, Infotech, Mphasis, Capgemini, Havells, Power Grid, etc. have visited the campus and are consistent recruiters of the college. ...

A good place to have all round development of ones life and to pass the college life of a student.

Placements: The placement facility started from the beginning of the college's 1st batch with a good percentage of its students getting placed in some good organisation or companies. As time is passing the facilities availability in placement is also growing sooner .many reputed companies have conducted their campus over here.even we had pool campuses organised in our college where students from other north east NITs have participated in the pool campus drives. There is a good availability lab facilities whi...

Dissatisfied by the Mess. Rest was Okay.

Placements: Placements were good and around 75-80% were able to secure jobs on campus but around 30% of those jobs were not technical in nature. As we were only the second batch and college had not any tie ups with industries it was difficult for the placement coordinators to bring companies on campus (also because of location). Inspite of these constraints students were able to get placements in companies (mostly through pool campus) like Polaris, NSETECH, FreshDesk, Nokia Networks, IBM GBS, HP, Magnetti ...

Still a growing college, still a long way to go. For the name of facilities it has all the basic amenities. A serene morning along the side of hills is the best thing. I always going to miss the college. Faculties are very supportive and encouraging.

It's a good college with good infrastructure, and Nagaland people are very friendly.

Placements: Placements are average. The package depends on the student's skills and knowledge.
