NIT Patna Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Ninty percent of students placed in the year 2023-24 in the department of computer science and engineering. The highest package offered is 52 lakhs per annum, and the lowest package is 6 lakhs per annum. Amazon, Google, Accenture, PhonePay are some major recruiters. Nearly 85 percent of students got internships, and the highest role offered is as a data analyst.

Placements: About 75% of students were placed in the college. The highest package was 45 lakhs this year and the average package was about 15 lakhs. Top recruiters were Adani groups, TCS, HCL, INT, etc. The top roles provided are as a power engineer, at the assistant engineer post and some posted at the government JE level .

Placements: The placement opportunities at my college are pretty good if we are skilled enough. This year, 80-85% of our seniors got placed in companies like ICICI, HPCL, Amazon, and Hitachi. The average package was around 9-10LPA, which is quite competitive. However, if we want a higher salary, we will need to go off-campus.

Placements: NIT Patna stands good in placement as in my B.tech (4 years) program in electrical engineering. 80-90% of the students gets on-campus placement. In 2023 batch highest package offered in my course was 38 LPA, median package was 7.8 LPA while the average package was 8.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies in electrical engineering are NTPC, BHEL, L&T, Bajaj, Havells and many more.

Placements: For Electrical Engineering, the placement percentage is 95%. The highest, lowest, and average package offered were 56 LPA, 6 LPA, and 14 LPA, respectively. NIT Patna has a strong reputation for attracting renowned companies across various sectors. Some of the top roles offered to Electrical Engineering graduates include: Power System Engineer, Electrical Design Engineer, Systems Engineer, Electrical Project Manager, Renewable Energy Engineer, etc.

Placements: Placements are just pathetic for B.Arch courses at NIT Patna. There are a handful of companies that allow B.Arch students to sit for their placement that too for computer science and analyst roles. Average Salary is INR 8.80 lakh. Highest Salary is INR 43.17 lakh. Median Salary is INR 6.50 lakh. Major recruiting companies are ABB, Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, AFCONS Infrastructure, AMW Automobiles, and Godrej, etc.

Placements: As per authorities, Electrical Engineering placements percentage was 94%. The highest and average package offered during NIT Patna placements 2023 stood at INR 52 LPA and INR 13.30 LPA, respectively. Placements: NIT Patna offers excellent placements and internships with companies like Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, and L&T. The average placement package is INR 8-12 LPA, with the highest going up to INR 50 LPA. Students secure internships at top firms like DRDO, ISRO, and Intel. Global internships through DAAD and MITACS are also common. The lowest package is around INR 5-6 LPA.

Placements: I have gone through the official placement record and know from seniors that placement in this college is above average. In the mechanical department, the placement ratio was 3 to 1 and 100 percent in the electrical department. One student has also grabbed packages worth more than Rs 1 crore from the CS department.

Placements: As a fresher, I have heard a mixed opinion from our seniors; some say very few students are placed, some say a good number of students are placed . Our professors said that all students who sit for placement are placed successfully, while some opt for higher studies or GATE. Average package is 8.80 lakh, highest is 1.6 crore, and lowest is 4 lakh per annum. But yes, one thing I liked about placements at NIT-Patna is that it doesn't allow companies for procurement who offer less than 6 LPA.

Placements: The placement at NIT Patna is average, but this year it has worsened due to the recession. This year, the mechanical branch has almost 100% placement, while the CS branch placement is good. However, the placement for the rest of the branches is in a very poor condition, and internships are only available for ECE and CS branch students.

Placements: As a current student pursuing my MCA in data science at NIT Patna, this is the first time when NIT Patna has introduced MCA for 3 years, and last it was for 2 years with an average package range from 6-8 LPA, with the highest of 30 LPA, and 100% of students got placed.

Placements: In 2023, MCA was discontinued, but it started again in 2024. In MCA '23, there was 100 percent placement. The highest package was 23 LPA at Amdocs, the median package was 6.2 LPA, and the lowest package was 4 LPA (this information I got from my seniors and faculty). Amdocs, SAP, Microsoft, Cisco, Deloitte, and many more companies are involved. Internships on campus were offered to 20-25 students out of 133 students. The top roles provided by recruiters were SDE and SWE.

Placements: 80-90 percent of students were placed in Electrical Engineering. Placements: I am from NIT Patna and currently doing my B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. Here in our college, the only thing that satisfies is the placements. Placements: The placements in our campus are good but they can be improved more by the placement unit and they are trying to do the same. The percentage of students who get placed every year are 85-90 percent and highest package offered is 50 LPA and the lowest package is 6 LPA and medium is 11 LPA. Placements: Initially in 2022 and 2023 the placement stats were at the top but in this year 2024 the stats are not that good because of the recession in the it sector. But then also the college is having a good placement session and almost all students got placed somewhere and the session is still going on.

Placements: Placements here are decent, with 80% of students placed per year. The top recruiters are LnT, Steel and Sons, etc. A major section of students get placed in the CS branch and secure decent packages of 10-20 lakhs. Electrical engineering is one of the oldest branches present here.
