 Students applying for the National Institute of Technology Raipur MCA course must have passed a three-year degree or equivalent degree from a recognised University/Institute with a minimum aggregate of 60% (of all the years) or an equivalent CGPA of 6.5/10. BTech Admission to the NIT Raipur is based on JEE scores. It is not possible for a candidate to get enrolled in the BTech course without clearing the cut-off of the JEE Main entrance exam. In addition to this the candidates also have to make sure they secure 75% in class 12 to be eligible for the BTech programme. Seats are allocated to students through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) and the Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA).
