Everything is good but I think there needs to be an upgrade in the food quality and the crowd.

Placements: Around 70-80% of the students get placed in ECE. The average package offered is around 11 LPA, the highest is 19.20 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 6 LPA to the students of the ECE branch in 2024 in the month of September, and it is still ongoing. Top recruiting companies are Airtel, Oracle, and Nexturn. Read More.

Good infrastructure, faculty, and placement depend on your skills.

Placements: In my ECE course, my outgoing seniors got placed very well, but overall, the placements are average. Good companies are visiting our campus, and my outgoing seniors got packages of 35-40 lakh per annum and an average package of 10-12 Lacs per annum. It depends on your skills.

Satisfied with the facilities. Placements are good in 2023, but it is not much in 2024.

Placements: Now the placements are going on. At present, 30 percent has been placed with the highest package of 19 Lacs per annum. The lowest package is 6 Lacs, and the average package is about 9 Lacs. There are small companies visiting our college like Cognizant, HP Petroleum, etc. I think the placement session is going on, so the placement percentage will increase, as well as mass recruitment from Samsung (R&D) company, which will intake more than 30 students per year.

Dissatisfied with the core placements.

Placements: The placement percent of our college remains steady at 60-70% but the only problem is that placement takes place in the CSE/IT branch. Core companies for ECE and electrical, etc. don't visit the campus much. Even if they do, only a few used to get placement.

NIT Srinagar is in a safe area and no need to hesitate if you get a seat here in any branch.

Placements: In my branch, a 40-50% placement rate is there but some students got multiple offers. The highest package was 19 lacs, the lowest was 6 lacs, and the average was 11.40 lacs. The top electronic and communication recruitment company was Nvidia. The internship rate is almost 100% on this campus.

Good scenic view and less workload in my college .

Placements: According to my seniors, they are saying that previous year the placement of ECE was not good. The highest package was 20 Lacs, the lowest was 6 Lacs and the average was about 15 Lacs. But they are saying that this year's placement is going well. About 20 students got placed till now this year. Internships at this college are good. Mostly all students got internships at Oracle, Vedanta, PW, and some PSUs.

Review of NIT Srinagar - National Institute of Technology.

Placements: According to my senior, there is very bad placement in my branch ECE. Only 13 students got placement last year. The highest package was 20 lacs and the lowest was 6 lacs. But internships are very good because almost all students get internships. Because of winter vacation, we have benefits in this. Here students got low competition in internships. Many companies came into our college but they didn't get good talent here, such that some go back without any students and teachers. Some local studen...

The college is quite and peaceful.

Placements: Currently, I am a fresher at NIT Srinagar. At electronic and communication engineering, there are 101 students in our batch. College is quite small but beautiful. And the infrastructure is also good but some of the projects are under development here, like cricket ground and common hall. Faculty members are quite good and they are very helpful. And everyone on the staff is very helpful. Mess food is decent. This year placement in ECE and in other branches are decent Currently, 65 to 75% of stu...

Me and the chaotic life in NIT Srinagar.

Placements: There are some good as well as bad placements too. The highest went up to 40 Lacs around and the lowest to around 10 Lacs. Top recruiting companies for our course are Samsung, Oracle, Autodesk. Around 25-40% got internships from CSE and its branches in many of these companies.

Overall, it is a good college to pursue engineering. Don't expect so many fests .

Placements: In CSE and IT branches , approximately 90% of the students are placed by the end of the course. The average package in the CSE IT branch is around 7-8 lakhs. Top recruiting companies include Infosys , Microsoft , Samsung , Oracle, etc. Almost every student gets an internship during their 3rd year in IIT or companies if you are highly skilled .

College is good for exploring yourself and getting new opportunities .

Placements: Good placements in upper branches like CS and IT companies often come here for them. This year, we have Oracle, Samsung, and NVIDIA, and they gave very good offers to students. Oracle has taken 7 students, avg was 20 lakh, and for Samsung, 5 students, average was 15 lakh.

Everything you want to know about NIT, Srinagar.

Placements: Last year, nearly 80% of students in my course were placed, with the highest package at 19 LPA, the lowest at 3 LPA, and the average package at 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies include L&T, Vedanta SRE, BPCL, and many more. Additionally, 70% of students secured internships from the same companies that offered placements.

Everything is good but I think there needs to be an upgrade in the food quality and the crowd.

Placements: I think from CS and IT branches, approximately 70% of students got their placement but companies are prioritizing IIT over NIT, and for that reason it is less. In my course, the highest package was 45 lakhs per annum. I do not have an exact number because I am currently in my third year of study. We are now applying for internship and most students are getting it from IIT. Structural engineer is the top role offered.
