The college is quite and peaceful.

Placements: Currently, I am a fresher at NIT Srinagar. At electronic and communication engineering, there are 101 students in our batch. College is quite small but beautiful. And the infrastructure is also good but some of the projects are under development here, like cricket ground and common hall. Faculty members are quite good and they are very helpful. And everyone on the staff is very helpful. Mess food is decent. This year placement in ECE and in other branches are decent Currently, 65 to 75% of stu...

Overall, it is a good college to pursue engineering. Don't expect so many fests .

Placements: In CSE and IT branches , approximately 90% of the students are placed by the end of the course. The average package in the CSE IT branch is around 7-8 lakhs. Top recruiting companies include Infosys , Microsoft , Samsung , Oracle, etc. Almost every student gets an internship during their 3rd year in IIT or companies if you are highly skilled .

College is good for exploring yourself and getting new opportunities .

Placements: Good placements in upper branches like CS and IT companies often come here for them. This year, we have Oracle, Samsung, and NVIDIA, and they gave very good offers to students. Oracle has taken 7 students, avg was 20 lakh, and for Samsung, 5 students, average was 15 lakh.

Everything you want to know about NIT, Srinagar.

Placements: Last year, nearly 80% of students in my course were placed, with the highest package at 19 LPA, the lowest at 3 LPA, and the average package at 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies include L&T, Vedanta SRE, BPCL, and many more. Additionally, 70% of students secured internships from the same companies that offered placements.

Everything is good but I think there needs to be an upgrade in the food quality and the crowd.

Placements: I think from CS and IT branches, approximately 70% of students got their placement but companies are prioritizing IIT over NIT, and for that reason it is less. In my course, the highest package was 45 lakhs per annum. I do not have an exact number because I am currently in my third year of study. We are now applying for internship and most students are getting it from IIT. Structural engineer is the top role offered.

Best college having scenic views. It is good enough for CSE IT and ECE.

Placements: Around 70-80% of the students get placed in ECE. The average package offered is around 11 LPA, the highest is 19.20 LPA and the lowest package offered is 6 LPA to the students of ECE branch in 2024 in the month of September and it is still ongoing. Top recruiting companies are Airtel, Oracle and Nexturn.

Should I recommend NIT Srinagar?

Placements: In Chemical Engineering, 80 percent of eligible students got placed last year, with an average package of 8 LPA and the highest package of 14 LPA. Gail Gas and Indane were the top recruiters. Many students secured internships during the two-month period in December and January from our senior batch.

NIT Srinagar: The cursed and outdated NIT.

Placements: Only 30-35% of students got placed in 2024! The highest package was 24 LPA offered by Samsung R&D. The average package was 6 LPA! Most of the students got placed in mass recruiters and service-based companies! Only CSE and IT students have a good percentage of placements!

The College is Good, but the People Are Not

Placements: Placement rate at NIT Srinagar is quite good. Placement depends mostly on the branch; CSE students get placed almost 100%. I mean, whoever participates in the placement process gets placed. Other branches like ECE, Mechanical, and Electrical also have good placement rates, with about 90% of students getting placed. Chemical and Metallurgy have lower placement rates compared to these branches, but it's not like they don’t get placed. In 2022, out of 55 students, 45+ got placed; the rest either we...

Reviewing a journey:NIT Srinagar.

Placements: I am enrolled in ECE, and it has a decent amount of placement here at NIT Srinagar. A number of software as well as hardware companies visit the campus for placements, and being an ECE student, we get to sit in both of these, so placement-wise, it is good, but if you do hard work,.

Overall, this is a decent college with a very beautiful campus and weather.

Placements: I am a student of information technology at the National Institute of Technology, Srinagar. This is a prestigious college in Jammu and Kashmir. There is decent placement because of the training and placement-dedicated department that helps in getting placement.

NIT Srinagar Review Batch 2021-25.

Placements: The percentage of placement is not so good. 2022: placement is 75% 2023 : placement is 50% Due to the recession, there is a lower chance of placement in 2024. The top recruiters are HCl, Vedanta, HDFC, TCS and many other companies. Around 50 companies visit every year. The highest package is 40 LPA. The lowest package is 6 LPA. Internship: internship is 100% but this is fake data because no one get internship through college; you have to find one yourself.

Good college with less recognition, which it will gain in the upcoming years.

Placements: Almost 88% students were placed from Metallurgy. The highest package offered was 16 LPA, the lowest was 7 LPA with an average package of 8 LPA. Amazon, Flipkart, Deloitte and Wipro are the top companies. Internships are a bit tricky and there is almost no internship in the 1st year. However, you will get internships from 2nd year onwards in mid-tier companies depending on your resume.

An honest review of NIT, Srinagar.

Placements: The college provides decent placements with the highest pac of about 45 LPA and the average package of around 15 LPA. Many companies visit the college for placements including Tata steel, JSW, Microsoft, etc. Almost 90% of the students get placed. There are on campus placements. In conclusion, the placements are better than expected.

Most beautiful and stunning college in India, but take a look at placements.

Placements: Nearly 70% of students get placed and receive 1-2 offers. Placement is not as good as in other NITs but far better than in private colleges. The highest package offered in my course was 39 LPA and the lowest is 6 LPA, whereas the average package is around 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Autodesk, Nvidia, Oracle, Samsung R&D, Vedanta, IOCL, C. dot, Unacademy, Optum, etc. Internships are only offered to 7th-semester or 4th-year students; no internship program exists for 3rd-year students. NIT Srinagar is a good college.

Placements: 70% of students got placed. The highest package is 18 LPA and the average package is 7 LPA. These are for core civil. Well, civil students can also take placement in technical fields. For this, you should know some computer programming languages, like python, C++, Java, etc. If you want, you can also learn web development, etc. All of these are not compulsory; 1-2 will be enough. Learn 3D design software for core civil engineering applications.

NIT Srinagar provides everything required for a student.

Placements: Placement opportunities are robust for branches such as CSE, IT, and ECE but relatively limited for branches like MME, CIVIL, and Chemical. Eligibility for campus placements begins from the 6th semester onward. The overall placement culture is favorable for higher-demand branches. After completing the second year, our college allows students to pursue internships, facilitated by MOUs signed with various institutions across the country. TATA Steel is one of the best companies that provide interns...

NIT Srinagar: Worth it in 2024?

Placements: Placements are going well. In 2023 passing out batch, the placements were quite good but for 2024 pass out batch due to recession the placement is not going well. At the end of their 7th semester, only 100-150 students are placed in a batch of almost 700 students. Big companies of this year till now are Oracle, Infineon, Iridito, Autodesk, etc.

NIT Srinagar true talks by students.

Placements: Placement here is average, I am talking about my seniors of batch 2024 having their placement year currently. Up to now approximately. 130 students are placed out of 800 total students, including intern offers, PPOs and full-time job. In this placement session we have the highest package offer is 38 LPA to a student of M.Teach student and average package offered till now is 9lpa and the lowest is 7lpa.
