NIT Srinagar Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: There were a total of 57 students in the CSE department and 55 in the IT department. Almost all eligible students got placed, with multiple offers in hand. Some were not eligible as they had backlogs. Placements: Almost 100 % of IT students are placed in this year in IT branch. The average package got in placement this year is above 10 LPA. The highest placement in our branch is 32 LPA and from all of our colleges is 42 LPA. Around 90 % of students got internships this year.

Placements: Last year, more than 85% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered for our branch last year was 42.5 LPA. More than 10% to 20% of students get internships. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Infogain, Mu Sigma, Alstom, ABB, PGCIL, IOCL, BPCL, Vendanta, Sterlite, JSW, L & T, etc., visit the campus with salary packages ranging from 3 LPA to 15 LPA.

Placements: The placements records of this college have seen a significant improvement over the previous few years with most placements from CS, IT, ECE, ELE, and ME. The top recruiting companies are HP, Honda, Jio, Facebook, and OIL. The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA.

Placements: The placements of NIT Srinagar are almost 100% for top branches and for core branches also. Every student has the opportunity to be placed. The highest package offered for the CSE branch this year is 42 LPA. Amazon, Tata, and Indian Oil companies come to the campus for placements.

Placements: In this year's placement (placement for 2018-2022 batch) is approximately 75%. Even in core branches a lot of students placed. A lot of IT companies also came for placement due to which, students interested in coding got a huge chance for placement. The companies like Byjus, L&T, Balco, KEC etc. Visited the college.

Placements: Placements are very good in our college. Almost every student from CSE and IT got placed. But in all other branches, the placements are not good enough. In the batch 2019, the average package offered was approximately 7 LPA, and the highest package was 30 LPA. The placement rate is increasing every year.

Most of the good companies visited our campus like Samsung, Facebook, Infosys, etc. The highest salary package offered was about 40 LPA.

Placements: Placements are much better than you would expect. The highest package offered was 30 LPA. The average package was around 12 LPA. Top MNCs visit the campus for students who are talented. The best MNCs visit here every year. Top MNCs like Microsoft, Infosys, Google, etc., also come here.

Placements: The percentage of placements varies from branch to branch. The best placements are in CSE, IT, ECE, and mechanical branches this current year. Our seniors got placed in Samsung with a salary package of 40 LPA and one of the seniors got placed in Google with a salary package of 32 LPA. It was the first time that a student of NIT Srinagar got placed in Google.

Placements: Approximately 75% of students were placed in our course due to COVID. The top recruiters are NTPC, Indian Oil, DRDO, Power Grid, Satyam Computers, etc. The highest salary package of the IT branch is approximately 20 LPA and the average salary package offered varies from 11 LPA-12 LPA. There are many companies like Vedantu, Bhel, Indian Railways, that call for internships from NIT Srinagar.

Placements: In this college, placements are good. The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA, and the average salary pacakge offered is 8.5 LPA. Teachers care for our placements. This college always tries to get students good placements and seniors are helpful. I would recommend students to take admission in it.

Placements: About 18% of students got placed in civil engineering in our institute. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. CESA plays a major role in the placement of students. There are many companies that come to our college. The highest salary package is for computer science and engineering that is 40 LPA.

Placements: In the CSE course, almost 90% of students got placed in the previous years. About 70% of students get placed in the information technology course. About 65% of students get placed in the mechanical engineering course. About 40% of students get placed in the civil engineering course.

Placements: In the latest placements around 70-80% of CSE and IT were placed and many more to go with an approximately average placement of 9 LPA and the highest of 19 LPA, the lowest of 5 LPA. If I talk about companies, there is no doubt that good companies including Samsung, Amazon, Infosys visit for recruiting. The negative point is that you yourselves have to find an internship on your own and finally have to submit a Certificate for the same in the college. Placements: In the course of mechanical engineering, nearly 56 percent of students got placed. And also the highest package is also for the mechanical engineering student, a package of nearly 26 Lacs is the highest package. Top companies like NIT Srinagar also witnessed good internships record with the top recruiters like Escorts, BHEL, Bharat Electronics Ltd and Skoda visiting the campus.

Placements: About 41% of students were placed in 2021 placements. One of the top recruiting companies was IOC. The highest package went around 16-18LPA. Many students got internship from ioc, bajaj, internshala, internship-studio, etc. Students get good package based on their knowledge.

The highest salary package offered in our branch is around 22 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is around 5.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is almost 7 LPA, which is very comparable with other colleges at the same tier.
