NIT Srinagar Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: More than 70% of students are placed in this year. The highest salary package offered is 28 LPA, and the lowest salary pacakge offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Infosys, Amazon, TCS, and other top companies visited our campus this year and many offers were offered to students, and many students opted for internships.

Placements: Almost all the students of CSE branch get placed. The average package recorded for CSE, IT and ECE branches during NIT Srinagar placements 2020 was Rs 13 LPA, Rs 12 LPA and Rs 8 LPA, respectively. And every student of the course got placed and a normal student get a decent placement.

Placements: Placements are not much good like other NITs, which were founded around the same time as that of NIT Srinagar. However, considering the fact that all branches' students get placed from our batch, students even from metallurgy got placed. Placements are good from that perspective. The same applies that placements are good from every private engineering college in Jammu and Kashmir.

Placements: Placements of NIT Srinagar depend on the branch to branch. The placements of CSE and IT branches are too good, but if we talk about the placements of other core branches like mechanical, electrical, etc., are not too good. But around 17 students were placed out of 58 students in the mechanical branch which was average. Placements: The average salary package recorded for CSE, IT, and ECE branches during NIT Srinagar placements 2020 is 13 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 8 LPA. Further, Oil India Limited offered 22 LPA to a student of mechanical engineering branch whereas, 19.4 LPA to the students of CSE, IT, and ECE branches are offered.

Placements: It is a very above-average hard course. One of the toughest and hard courses for you to get. Many software and government companies visit our campus every year. Placements are actually very good. For getting internships you have to work hard and earn them.

Placements: 95% of placements are provided. Maruti, Infosys, Amazon, and BYJU's are a few of the top companies. Internships are offered. Top companies visit the campus every year. Based on the internship experience, high-level jobs are offered. The highest package is offered as per the industry.

Placements: The placements were good in this college. The college brings top companies to hire students with good packages. The college has world-class connections in the industry, they got to sit with the upper class which has a lot of connections unlocking opportunities for students.

Placements: In terms of placements, this college is just like most of the NITs. It has above-average placements with high packages. Around 80-90% of students got placed in CS and EC branches. Around 80% of students got placed in IT, and 40-50% of students got placed in core branches like civil, mechanical, and electrical. The highest package offered was 20 LPA, and the lowest package was 5 LPA. Both tech and core companies recruited most of the students.

Placements: 48% of students got placed. The highest package offered was 14 LPA. The lowest package offered was 6 LPA, and the average package was 8.2 LPA. Bharat Petroleum was the top recruiting company this year, with the highest package of 14 LPA. Mostly, all the students got internships.

Placements: Placements are going at a good rate, and most of the companies that come for recruitment are IT-based companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, L&T, Mu Sigma, Polaris, etc. Core companies such as Magneti Marelli (ECE), Maruti (ME) visited the campus recently. For IT, CS, EEE departments, the average salary package is 4.8 LPA.

Placements: The core branches like mechanical, civil and electrical do not have much to do in terms of placements. Most of the students get placed every year from the IT branches like CSE, IT, and E&C. In the year 2020, students get placed with a salary package of 19.5 LPA.

Placements: CS, IT and ECE branches will have 80% placement rate here, but other branches like civil, CH, meta, ELE, including our branch, suffer to get placements. Core companies visit the campus, but this year they did not visit due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, in the future, there is always a possibility that core companies will visit the campus.

Placements: In our chemical engineering branch, there is hardly any placements in this college. The majority of the placements are for CSE, IT and ECE branches. The rest of the branches also have good placements. It is a good college.

Placements: Almost all the students in IT and CS departments got placed, whereas the placements for other departments vary. The highest package offered in my course was 35 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Maharatna's such as BHEL, IOCL, ONGC etc. Only a few students were able to get internships.

Placements: Approximately 10% of the students got placed in the year 2021. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top core recruiting company is L&T. Approximately 60% of the students got internships in BSNL, BHEL, L&T, etc.

Placements: If you are from CSE/IT then placement is very good but for core branch you should not expect much. In core branch, 2-3 PSUs come every year which hires only branch toppers. There are some core companies which visit here every year like Tata Project, L&T, Suzuki Motors and Vedanta.

Placements: We are a total of 106 students in the civil engineering batch of 2017-21. Two students got placed in L&T. KEC International hired 2 students. Almost all the students get their internships from recognised companies like ALTTC, Upieda, BHEL, etc. Many students are not sitting for on-campus placements because they are going for a higher degree.

Placements: I am currently pursuing a 2nd-year B.Tech at NIT Srinagar. Placements are not so good because of the location of the campus and connectivity issues to reach college, so many companies refused to visit the college. Otherwise, off-campus placements are good options for NIT Srinagar students.

Placements: About 55-60% of the students get placement on the campus. The highest salary package offered is 22 LPA in codding, and the highest salary package offered in the core is 9.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5.885 LPA. The salary package gets increased as our placement cell is doing great work.
